Tang Yin and Xiao Fei chatted miscellaneously for a few minutes. Only after a while did they get down to the truly exciting part.

"So, what new abilities did you obtain?" Tang Yin asked in anticipation. The more Xiao Fei’s strength increased, the greater the assistance she could provide to him during any situation.

Xiao Fei smiled, "I obtained 2 abilities. The first one is called Divine Decay, it originates from one of the mories I saw from my bloodline during my evolution."

"The second ability that I obtained is called Cursed Eye. It directly originates from my bloodline. It is one of the few innate abilities that co with the Eternal Fate Ancient Phoenix bloodline." After saying this, Xiao Fei turned towards Tang Yin, trying to glean a reaction.

However, Tang Yin’s expression remained neutral. Xiao Fei hadn’t even explained anything about these 2 new abilities, what was he supposed to react to?

"Continue." After seeing Xiao Fei’s infatuation, he coughed, breaking her out of her stupor.

Xiao Fei quickly looked away, "The first ability, Divine Decay, is quite handy. Once in use, it allows to start off the decay and entropy of the world around . Depending on how much I use Divine Decay, it can bring about withering, deterioration and eventual destruction on a large scale."

"However, this is only secondary. The essence of Divine Decay is healing! I can steal the vitality of all decayed beings and absorb it to heal myself. The vitality gained will depend on the vitality capacity of the being that Divine Decay has been utilized on."

"For example, if I use Divine Decay on a bug, the vitality gained will be negligible. However, if I use Divine Decay on a Rank 7 Demonic Beast, the obtained vitality should be enough to bring back to my peak from a near-death state."

"But this is just a rudintary explanation. Do you want to go into detail?" Xiao Fei asked. She didn’t want to bore Tang Yin with the small details of her new ability.

"Obviously." Tang Yin rolled his eyes, gesturing for Xiao Fei to continue.

’This Divine Decay seems quite similar to the devouring ability of the Heaven Devouring Abyss. I can Devour beings and use their essence to heal myself. The sa sense applies to this Divine Decay but in a different manner.’ Tang Yin speculated from what Xiao Fei had just revealed.

"Divine Decay grants control over two distinct types of decay. The first type is natural decay, which allows to accelerate the natural process of deterioration. In simple terms, I can speed up the ageing and deterioration of a living being, causing them to rapidly deteriorate until they ultimately turn into ash."

"For instance, if I were to use Divine Decay on a mortal human, their body would age and decay at an accelerated rate until nothing remains but ashes. It’s like compressing the entire lifespan of a being into a much shorter tifra."

"The second type of decay that I can control is the opposite of natural decay. Instead of speeding things up, I can instantly trigger the process of decay. This ans that I have the power to swiftly turn a living being into ash through instant decay, bypassing the gradual deterioration."

"However, it’s important to note that both thods of decay revolve around the sa core principle, which is the natural process of decay itself. The first thod gradually enhances and expedites the decay process, while the second thod rapidly brings the target to the final stages of decay."

After saying all of this, Xiao Fei had to take so ti to catch her breath.

"Divine Decay is a versatile ability that can be used on various targets. It functions as a corrupting force, rapidly weakening and deteriorating living beings, structures, natural elents, and even Principles."

"Regardless of what is subjected to my Divine Decay, the outco remains consistent. It drains and absorbs the vitality and energy from tangible substances, transferring it to for healing and rejuvenation."

"Based on the mories passed down in my bloodline, I’ve discovered that Divine Decay can be employed for more than just healing. I can intentionally induce instability and chaos in my surroundings, creating imbalances and unpredictability that I can exploit to my advantage."

"There is a limitation to the area of effect for Divine Decay though, currently restricted to a range of 100 feet around . As my strength increases, so will the scope of Divine Decay’s influence."

"Activating Divine Decay requires intense concentration and deliberate activation. It doesn’t operate passively. To effectively deteriorate and decay things down to their internal structures, it involves a complex process and ticulous concentration."

"As the user and wielder of Divine Decay, I am naturally immune to its effects. I can freely move and navigate within areas affected by Divine Decay and even within the decaying substances themselves."

"However, Divine Decay cannot be used frequently without consequences. Excessive use within a short period of ti will result in severe backlash, which would be challenging to recover from."

Xiao Fei released a deep breath, concluding her concise and comprehensive explanation of Divine Decay.

Tang Yin was surprised and a bit shocked. Divine Decay was very similar to the Heaven Devouring Abyss whilst also managing to be quite different at the sa ti.

"It’s quite a useful ability. Your ancestors must’ve been powerful beyond belief." Tang Yin remarked.

"Obviously!" Xiao Fei raised her head in pride. But internally, she was feeling excited. Her master had praised her! This was sothing Tang Yin rarely ever did.

"What about Cursed Eye? What type of ability is it?" Tang Yin asked curiously.

"Oh, that." Xiao Fei was too busy indulging in Tang Yin’s complint that she had completely forgotten to tell him about the new Cursed Eye ability.

"Right, so the Cursed Eye is an ocular ability that inflicts misfortune, setbacks, or unexpected turns of events upon those who et my gaze. When I lock eyes with soone, the curse takes effect, altering the individual’s fate temporarily."

"When using the Cursed Eye, my gaze will carry a potent curse that brings about negative consequences for the target. These consequences can manifest as accidents, failures, or a series of unfortunate events that disrupt the target’s life or plans."

"The Cursed Eye taps into the threads of fate and subtly alters the target’s destiny. It bends the course of events, introducing unexpected twists or unfavourable outcos that hinder the target’s progress or success."

"The curse inflicted by the Cursed Eye is not permanent. It lasts for a limited duration, typically long enough to significantly impact the target’s imdiate circumstances. After the curse lifts, the target’s fate returns to its normal course."

"From the information I’ve received from my bloodline about this ability, the target’s Karmic Luck will drastically decrease when the Cursed Eye is active. In so cases, the target’s Karmic Luck can even be transford into absolute misfortune."

"The Cursed Eye’s curse only takes effect when I and the target establish direct eye contact. This ans that I must intentionally et the gaze of the target for the curse to be activated."

"I can choose who I wish to inflict the curse upon. It can either be a single person or multiple people. However, the direct eye requirent is always needed for the Cursed Eye to function."

"This ability will be really handy in battle. After all, everything will go our way when facing an enemy. In fact, you never know, the enemy might fall and hit their head on a rock and die. It will save us quite the hassle." Xiao Fei joked.

"That’s really convenient. Are there any consequences or backlash?" Tang Yin’s eyes lit up. This ability would be very useful in a battle.

"Well, there isn’t any significant backlash to this ability. It’s just temporarily decreasing soone’s Karmic Luck for a short period of ti. Everything would go back to normal after the Cursed Eye’s effects are lifted, considering that the inflicted individual isn’t dead."

"I also can’t use the Cursed Eye on too many individuals, otherwise, I would have to sustain the ability with my own Karmic Luck. The consequences of that are self-evident." Xiao Fei said with a light chuckle, but there was a hint of fear in that small action.

Clearly, having one’s Karmic Luck lowered or disappear was a terrifying concept. After all, one would need to deal with calamities and disasters until they ultimately died.

Tang Yin thought about Xiao Fei’s words for a mont. He truly realised the terrifying aspect of the Cursed Eye. Usually, as long as the ability wasn’t abused or overused, there wouldn’t be any backlash.

’The Cursed Eye toys with one’s fate and Karmic Luck, does this have sothing to do with the Eternal Fate part of Xiao Fei’s species? After all, the Cursed Eye is the Eternal Fate Ancient Phoenix race’s innate ability.’ Tang Yin was imdiately able to draw a connection between the Cursed Eye and Xiao Fei’s bloodline.

’Then does this an that Xiao Fei’s species is heavily related to fate and Karmic Luck other than space?’ Although nurous thoughts rampaged in Tang Yin’s mind, he didn’t voice anything.
