Alchemists had 9 tiers; a 9th Tier Alchemist was the most common while a 1st Tier Alchemist did not even exist within the True Martial World. Alchemists could only make the tier of dicinal Pills within their own tier. A Tier 8 Alchemist would only be able to concoct Tier 8 and 9 dicinal Pills. The higher the tier of a dicinal pill, the higher the potency and corresponding effect the pill would have on a cultivator.
