A month passed.
Tang Yin spent this month hunting down Demonic Beasts. He had killed around 60 or so Rank 4 Demonic Beasts and had yet to encounter a Rank 5 Demonic beast. This was mainly due to him avoiding them.
Tang Yin avoided the Rank 5 Demonic Beasts and morised their locations. He would return later and kill them one by one before fleeing back to the south zone.
Killing so many Rank 4 Demonic Beasts was not enough to attract the attention of the tamorphosis Demonic Beast in the north zone. However, if nurous Rank 5 Demonic Beasts died all of a sudden one after another, the tamorphosis Demonic Beast would not be able to ignore this.
It was similar to how if Tang Yin killed all the elders of the Four Seasons Sect, the Principle Step Sect Master would not be able to turn a blind eye.
Tang Yin planned to kill a few more Rank 4 Demonic Beasts before killing the Rank 5 Demonic Beasts and leaving.
The Rank 5 Demonic Beasts Tang Yin was going to kill were all Low-tier ones. He could put up a fight against a Mid-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast, but he would have too much difficulty in defeating it unless he had external help.
He also needed to make the battles short, otherwise, he would be caught and killed by the tamorphosis Demonic Beast whilst entangled in a battle with a Demonic Beast.
Another 4 days trickled by.
Tang Yin had turned 10 Rank 4 Demonic Beasts into his victims.
Tang Yin did not need to collect any intel as he had promised the Autumn Halls’ Elder.
This was because once he killed nurous Rank 5 Demonic Beasts, the tamorphosis Demonic Beast would definitely fly into a rage and lead his armies in a crazed attack on the 3 zones. It was not difficult to explain this situation to the Elder, he already had a few lines prepared.
It was ti to kill his first Low-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast. Not only would Tang Yin obtain its Demonic Beast Core for Xiao Fei, but he would also obtain its Beast Soul and corpse which could be sold for a vast fortune. Other than this, he could test the limit of his abilities and physical body.
The first Low-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast Tang Yin had morised was located on an island.
The island was around 10,000 Kilotres large. There was a mountain range which spanned nearly the whole of the island. The mountain range had a high-quality Spirit Vein coursing through it. It was a very suitable place to cultivate and train for a Rank 5 Demonic Beast.
Tang Yin already knew where the Low-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast was. It was in the area with the densest concentration of Qi on the island.
Tang Yin stood above the island, on his back were abyssal black wings. He lifted his hand up and made a slow descending motion.
A huge palm which covered the world descended on the island.
An intimidating roar filled with anger and Killing Intent ca from the centre of the mountain range.
The next mont, a white arc charged into the sky. It was a Demonic Beast with the body of a bird and a fishtail covered in white feathers. Below its abdon were 2 incredibly sharp-looking claws. They were covered in white scales which sparkled with white light. There was an intelligent glint in its eyes.
When a Rank 4 Demonic Beast beca a Rank 5 Demonic Beast, they would develop a small amount of intelligence.
Demonic Beasts would only obtain intelligence akin to humans when they went through tamorphosis.
The Low-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast sent out 2 slashes towards the incoming Heaven Shrouding Palm.
The Heaven Shrouding Palm was instantly shredded to pieces. The azure sky returned along with its pearly white clouds.
Tang Yin remained calm, he did not expect the Heaven Shrouding Palm to have any effect.
"I know you understand what I am saying. I’m going to extract your soul and take your Demonic Beast Core. So instead of making waste ti and effort, why not just surrender? I’ll give you a painless death." Tang Yin spoke very arrogantly. His goal was to rile up the Rank 5 Demonic Beast so it would attack recklessly and create openings for him to attack.
The Low-tier Rank 5 Demonic Beast which appeared to be a bird and fish hybrid screeched with intense anger and resentnt. It dashed towards Tang Yin like lightning.
Tang Yin swiftly retreated using the Phantom Steps. Whenever the Demonic Beast thought it had caught up to Tang Yin, it only caught his afterimages. This only fuelled its rage.
Tang Yin also used the Void Chains to hamper the beast’s speed and pester it to no end. It could not catch up.
When the Demonic Beast was distracted by the Void Chains, he would send streaks of black sword energies towards it.
He was continuously chased around like a mouse by the Demonic Beast. No matter what the Demonic Beast did, it could not catch Tang Yin. It only got more agitated and annoyed each ti it failed to capture him.
The Demonic Beast finally reached its limit after a few minutes. With intense hatred and fury, it let out a sharp chirp. The white feathers on its fishtail started to glow with white light.
