"I have noticed that the Killing Intent around you is much thicker compared to other cultivators. Even that Spirit Ascension Realm cultivator does not have such thick Killing Intent." Tian Huang pointed out.
Tang Yin contemplated Tian Huang’s words, but he could not grasp the essence of what he was saying. Thus, he remained silent, waiting for Tian Huang to continue.
"The resentnt around you is very thin. The number of living beings you have killed should be imnse, but the ones you harboured a personal grudge against should be very little." Tian Huang pointed out once more.
Tang Yin’s expression did not change, he still had a poker face. But deep inside he was shocked. It was exactly as Tian Huang had said.
He had massacred many families and sects. However, he did so with the intention to Devour them, not because he held a grudge or had a feud with them.

"If you kill so indifferently and emotionlessly, you will truly beco an emotionless person who will kill anyone you set your eyes upon. This is no different than being a devil. You will lose all your emotions, and desires and even grow to see your loved ones as strangers."
"I am not saying you should stop killing, neither am I saying you should change your lifestyle upon what I have said. Instead, I am telling you to kill with a reason. aningless slaughter will turn you into a devil, I have witnessed this before." When Tian Huang said the last sentence, nostalgia filled his being along with a hint of sadness.
Tang Yin’s heart shook. What Tian Huang said made sense now. He understood the ssage he was trying to convey.
He thought back to the Xu family he had slaughtered in the past. They were just a Rank 2 family which he did not have any ties with. Yet he slaughtered them in cold blood so he could Devour them and their Spirit Vein to beco stronger.
This was a common occurrence in the cultivation world. Many Rank 2 families died per day in the True Martial World. The Xu family was just another victim that day.
His reason for slaughtering the Xu family was to beco stronger, condense more spirit veins and advance his cultivation. This was his reason to slaughter them.

Tang Yin thought for a mont, he contemplated every single word of Tian Huang’s’ very deeply. He once again cupped his fist in his palm and bowed deeply.

It did not matter what intention Tian Huang was harbouring deep inside. All Tang Yin knew at the mont was that Tian Huang had saved him from potential self-destruction.

Tian Huang ntioned he wanted to kindle the flas of desire in Tang Yin’s heart for his inheritance. This way Tang Yin would give it his all in the incoming trials.
"I will surely do my best to obtain your inheritance." Tang Yin responded. He was originally dragged into the Tides of Chaos unwillingly and had no choice but to participate in the inheritance.
Now instead of just participating in the inheritance to survive, Tang Yin was going to give it his all and obtain Tian Huang’s inheritance.
The vast wealth he would receive as a successor included: Spirit Stones, Martial Skills, Artifacts, dicinal Pills, etc.
This was already enough to make Tang Yin give his full effort, now he had another reason to do so.
