Thank you so much for the quick responses to the previous poll! I noticed that many of you are leaning towards SubscribeStar. However, I have just discovered a crucial piece of information that I must share before we make a final decision.
I just found out that SubscribeStar DOES NOT support PayPal for subscriptions. This ans if we move there, you can only subscribe using a Credit or Debit Card.
On the other hand, Ko-fi DOES support PayPal, which I know is the most convenient thod for many of you.
I am very concerned that if we move to SubscribeStar, many of you who only use PayPal won't be able to follow the story anymore. I don't want to lose our community just because of a paynt barrier.
Because of this, I want to ask one more ti—please consider this carefully:
SubscribeStar: Safer for
as a creator (less risk of bans), but NO PAYPAL for you (Card only).
Ko-fi: Very easy for you (Supports PAYPAL), but I will have to be extrely careful with titles and descriptions to keep the account safe.
Given this new information, which one do you truly prefer? Please let
know in the comnts. I want to make sure the "new ho" for my translations and fanfics is a place where all of you can actually join .
