Well, friends, all good things must co to an end. Today I'm announcing that Journey of True Cultivation will not be continued.
First, I owe you an apology. Just yesterday I promised the next chapter and now I'm pulling the plug. As I began writing the comming chapter, I confronted too many flaws I can't ignore, and other frustrations have piled up.
When I started this story, my vision was a grounded, realistic cultivation journey and I still love that concept. But here we are, more than 130 chapters in, and our protagonist is still in the very first Stage! In most cultivation novels, by now the MC is well past the third realm. I still find the world engaging, but forcing myself to write has beco a clear sign that I'm no longer passionate about it. Since this isn't my livelihood, I shouldn't push through at the expense of my own enjoynt.
By "not liking it," I an I've co to see the story's missteps too clearly, and I want to channel my energy into sothing fresh. That project is Rise of the Sword Fanatic.
It's been nearly six months since I first set pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) on Journey of True Cultivation. In that ti, my craft has grown, I can see how much my writing has improved from Chapter 1. Seeing 128 of you add the novel to your collections made incredibly proud, and your comnts erased my earliest doubts and fueled my motivation. We even earned 375 Power Stones together! Thank you for every view, every bookmark, and every word of encouragent.
I hope you'll join on my next adventure. Your support ans the world, and I invite any questions about JTC or curiosity about Rise of the Sword Fanatic in the comnts. I'll answer as best I can.
And with that, in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
