Ignoring the awkward silence between him and the old man, Julian took his seat on the edge of the cliff and wound his fishing rod, and tossed it into the powerful current that is crashing into the cliff.
The pokemons he is looking for can only found under these kinds of strong currents, as the currents swept across boulders, the bait under the water acted like a living thing attracting the attention of pokemons swimming in the deep waters.
Julian kept waiting, waiting for a pokemon to take his bait and he didn't have to wait much longer, his bait was taken as he felt a strong pull at the other end of the string, feeling the power behind the pull Julian knew he caught a powerful pokemon.
He started to reel in his catch, it took a few minutes before his catch finally surfaced, the pokemon jumped out of the water shining under the bright sunlight as its scale reflected it over the cliff.
The old man who was fishing beside him was suddenly shocked by seeing the pokemon that Julian just caught, he couldn't believe his own eyes, he thought it was a myth but right now the pokemon is right in front of him.
Many over the ti have tried to catch this pokemon but none were successful and the pokemon soon turned into a myth but now it has been caught for the first ti.
Julian looked at his catch in surprise as well as it was a massive golden Magikarp, it was even bigger than the one he caught in Kanto, looking at this Magikarp, Julian could tell that this one is over level 40 and one of the strongest wild Magikarp he has ever seen but this was not the pokemon he is after.
He pulled up the Magikarp and cut it loose, the golden Magikarp dove into the water again and disappeared, and only two people were fortunate enough to see it.
The old man next to Julian is still in shock with his bulging eyes staring at Julian and confused by the choice that Julian just made.
Old Man "Wh...Wh...Wha...What ha...have you ju...just done?"
The Old man shuddered and exclaid.
Julian turned and looked at the old man notching that he was in shock.
Julian "What happened Old man?"
Julian asked totally confused about the current situation.
Old Man "That Magikarp that you just caught and released is a myth, many people over the year tried to catch it but none were successful, people thought that it was just a myth made by fishern over the year"
Julian "Oh! cool"
Julian said and tossed his bait back into the water to catch his next pokemon.
Old Man "Oh! cool? Nothing is cool about releasing that Magikarp, do you even know how much fa it would bring if people in the fishern community knew about it, you would have beco world-famous!"
The Old man said while still astonished by Julian's decision to release the Magikarp.
Julian "Oh No! Anyway, I am busy right now, I can think about it later"
Julian said and went back to fishing ignoring the astonished Old man, while the Magikarp might seem like a big deal to others, Julian didn't care much, soone like him who has seen and caught pokemon that are rarer and dangerous than the Magikarp, though the Magikarp was a surprising catch Julian was not that taken back by its appearance.
Julian continued to fish and the old man sighed and returned back to his spot and did the sa, Julian caught more pokemons as he waited, he even caught the ones he was looking for but as he wanted the better ones he let them go.
The Old man kept observing Julian's action, even after seeing Julian catch a Clauncher, he saw the young man cut it loose, he didn't understand what Julian was after but decided to just watch.
After hours Julian finally caught a pokemon he found, a Skrelp ca out and landed on the ground and suddenly used Acid on Julian, he jumped to the side and sent out Honedge.
This is Honedge's first battle, even though not official, he could still gain so experience, being immune to Poison and resistant to Dragon-type attacks, Honedge was the perfect match for a pokemon like Skrelp.
Skrelp shot another Acid at Honedge but he didn't dodge, the Acid blob fell on him and slid down his body falling on the ground, the acid touched the ground and sizzled.
Julian "Fury Cutter"
Honedge charged forward and slashed at Skrelp multiple tis, with no experience in battle as it being very young, it couldn't counter those moves from Honedge, Skrelp was sent rolling on the ground.
Julian didn't waste any ti and threw a Pokeball at Skrelp and caught it, the Pokeball shook multiple tis before stopping with a confirmation beep.
With one catch successful, Julian was quite happy, he decided to go back and co tomorrow, he is ntally tired after waiting for such a long ti catching pokemon and releasing them back into the water.
