Drayden got his legs free and looked at his challenger to confirm if he is safe or not, seeing that the challenger is completely fine he sighed and quickly rushed out of the gym to check out what just happened while his Druddigon followed right behind him.
Drayden "Challenger forgive but we have to postpone this battle, I need to check out what just happened"
He said while rushing out, the referee also chased behind Drayden to see what is going on, now Julian is the only one who is left alone inside the gym, he found it weird, why would soone suddenly attack a gym and who could it be.
Julian [Gengar go outside and see what is happening while I will stay here to see what is happening]
Gengar got out of his shadow and rushed out right behind Drayden and the group, while Julian stayed behind, he found the current situation quite not right.

Gengar rushed out of the gym right behind Drayden and saw sothing that surprised him, the whole gym and the area around is completely covered with ice, he looked around and saw many Team Plasma mbers surrounding the area with a lot of pokemons around them, he then looked up as he sensed a very powerful aura from the top.
He noticed a massive flying ship floating up in the air, the ship seems to have a massive canon attached to it which is clearly the cause of the current atmosphere, the power being generated behind this cannon is massive, a champion level pokemon will get destroyed if they try to take an attack from this cannon head-on.
Even Julian's Garchomp might struggle to hold up against this ice cannon, his Victini on the other hand could take it down with its fire.
Drayden gritted his teeth as he saw his whole gym was surrounded by team plasma mbers, he didn't expect this at all, he was a little suspicious of Team Plasma because they were very quiet all of a sudden but now they suddenly attacked out of nowhere catching him by surprise.
He saw Team Plasma mbers everywhere and he alone cannot take on them, there are more than a hundred of them and it looks like they are here to take over the whole city itself.
He made a decision and sent out all his pokemons to fight till the very end, he just had to wait for reinforcent from the league, such big scale attack would not go unnoticed by the league.
All his pokemons ca out ready to give it their all in this battle.
"My, My Gym leader Drayden, you don't have to be so serious, we ca in peace"
Drayden suddenly heard a voice, he looked in the direction of the voice and noticed a short old man wearing a purple buffed coat and a big hat over his head walking towards him.
Drayden "Who are you?"
Drayden asked.
"Oh, My bad, forgive the rudeness, my na is Zinzolin, people also call one of the seven sages"
Zinzolin said and smiled while looking at Drayden.
Drayden "So the Seven Sages are behind Team Plasma, no wonder they have expanded to this level"
He said with dissatisfaction in his voice.
Zinzolin "No, no, no, don't assu things, I don't control Team Plasma, I am just working for their leader, you see, money is a very powerful driving factor"
Zinzolin said and laughed.
Drayden "Why did you do this and what do you want?"
Drayden asked.
Zinzolin "Why did we do this? Well, the leader of Team Plasma wanted to send a ssage to certain soone, and what do we want? We ca here for the DNA splicer"
Zinzolin said revealing a big smile on his face.
Drayden "You want the DNA splicer, you have to take it over my dead body"
Zinzolin "Oh my Arceus, you see I am an old man and I don't like physical violence and blood, I will leave that to these three, while I take a look inside your precious gym"
Zinzolin said and signaled soone to step forward, suddenly three people appeared out of nowhere and surrounded Drayden, Drayden looked at these three carefully, they are wearing tight black suits and have long white hair.
Drayden has heard about them, these are none other than the Shadow Triad, they are very strong admins from Team Plasma and each of them boasts powers comparable to an Elite Four mber.
Zinzolin laughed and started to walk forward.
Zinzolin "Colress follow "
He said and he called a young tall man wearing glasses to follow him, this is none other than the person Julian near the powerplant.
Colress "Yes sir"
He said and followed Zinzolin into the Opelucid gym.
Drayden "STOP RIGHT THERE"
He shouted and tried to stop him but the mbers of the Shadow Triad stopped him in his tracks and sent out their pokemons to block his path, Drayden found himself completely stuck in this situation as he didn't know what to do.
He was completely outnumbered and he had no idea on how to stop Zinzolin from getting his hands on the DNA splicer, then he suddenly rembered about his challenger, he looked around and found out that his challenger is still inside the gym.
Drayden 'If that person is really the one I think it is, then maybe there is a chance'
He thought and prayed that his challenger is indeed Julian.
