A draw in the semifinals is a huge deal, people won't be able to tell who will go to the finals, the only way for one of the trainer to enter the finals will be decided by the league committee.
But people were not rushing, the referee can take responsibility on himself to send one person to the finals.
Both Ash and Tobias look at the referee as they see their pokemon go down at the sa ti, the referee is troubled and in a dilemma right now, he contacts the assistant referee to ask for advice but doesn't get any.

These reasons could drag the league for much longer so it is left the league committee to handle this.

He turned and asked his girlfriend Cynthia as she is more knowledgeable in this kind of situation.

She said and smiled awkwardly.
Julian "In the semifinals huh? did it happen before in other states?"

She said and sealed the bet with a kiss.

Julian's Sinnoh team will be going to go through hell now, Julian wants to see the limit of his pokemons and this handicap battle might just be the perfect way to see his pokemons true capabilities.
