The battle ca to an end, Ash lost all of his pokemon and Flint's Infernape is in a state of paralysis as its body has gone numb.
Flint "Wow, that was a great battle, I didn't expect your Pikachu would be this strong"
He said and laughed, he looked at his Infernape and smiled.
Flint "Looks like we need to go to the pokemon center and fix you huh? Buddy"
He said to his Infernape, his Infernape struggled and turned around and nodded at Flint, Ash rushed towards Pikachu and picked him up in his arm.
Ash "Pikachu you were aweso"
He said and rubbed off the dust on his cheeks, Pikachu slowly opened his eyes and licked Ash's finger.
Ash "Looks like you are fine"
He said and got up and looked at Flint.
Ash "Flint, thank you for the battle, it was aweso"
Flint "I should thank you, it's been quite long since I had this much fun during a battle, what do you say Volkner?"
He said and looked at his friend and rival Volkner, Volkner looked at Ash, as they eyes t Ash knew he was going to get a battle that he wanted. When he heard that the gym leader was giving away the badges for free he got furious and stord off to confront Volkner, that is when he t Flint.
Flint explained to Ash why Volkner is in his current state, so Flint and Ash decided to rekindle the spark inside Volkner through their battle and it looks like it worked.
Volkner "Ash right? You got your battle, co tomorrow after you pokemon are completely rested, I will be waiting"
He said and walked away with the Proprietor, Julian also made a silent escape without being noticed by anyone, he ca here to see how the gym leader really is but when he saw that Volkner has completely given up on his role as a gym leader he felt disappointed.
Luckily Ash was also in the city and with his ntality, he wouldn't have let this pass and he did what he is best at, bringing out the best out of other people.
Volkner was the sa, he had given up but after witnessing Ash he was reminded of his own past, the past in which he was the sa, stubborn, battle crazy trainer just like Ash.
Now that Volkner seems to be back to his usual self, Julian might get the battle he wanted, from what he has heard Volkner is really strong, his team consists of Jolteon, Luxray, Raichu, and Electivire.
These four are very close to the Elite-four level so defeating them, one needs to have a clear type advantage, a perfect battle strategy, and field awareness, without these there is no chance of winning.
Or one could bring a pokemon of higher level and defeat him.
After walking out of the gym, Julian decided to head towards the museum as Professor Kukui will be giving his presentation about his project soon.
It's already evening so Julian didn't waste any ti going around the city, he directly headed towards the museum where the event is currently being held, once he got there he had to buy a ticket again, luckily it was the sa person as before and let him enter without causing much commotion.
As he walked in he saw a lot of people inside, the crowd is even bigger than the one in the morning, every corner is filled with people, most of them are enthusiasts who love technology, Julian continued forward and saw soone familiar, it was Volkner.
He seems to be looking at so device and didn't mind the people around him, he is lost in his own thoughts.
Julian 'Looks like he is an enthusiast as well'
He thought and walked passed him, soon he arrived at the top floor where the seminar will be held, he saw a lot of scientist and pokemon professors on this floor, most of them are talking about their research and exchanged pointers that are useful to them.
Julian looked around and saw a few more familiar faces in the crowd, it was Professor Oak, he didn't expect Professor Oak to be here as well, he walked towards him and called him.
Julian "Professor Oak"
He said and patted his shoulder, Professor Oak turned around and saw a man in a black dress and a cloth mask covering his face, seeing his Professor Oak realized who it is.
Oak "Julian, what are you doing here?"
Julian "I was interested in Professor Kukui's project so I ca to see it"
Oak "Ah, I see, that kid's project is indeed revolutionary, this will change the course of humanity if his project get mass-produced"
Professor Oak said and nodded his head, he had a proud smile on his face as if he was involved in the project as well.
Julian "Do you know what it is?"
Oak "Of course I know what it is, I helped him a little when he ca to ask so doubts, he has been working on this project for more than four years and now he has finally produced a working prototype"
Julian "Do you know what it is?"
He asked and raised his brows, he got more curious about this project now, to change the course of humanity, what could it be?
Oak "I cannot tell you, but I can introduce you to that kid Kukui"
Professor Oak laughed and slapped Julian's back and dragged him towards Professor Kukui who is surrounded by pokemon professors, researchers and other people who are interested in his project.
Well, he was not the only one who was in this kind of situation, other scientists and professors who were about to present their projects were also going through the sa thing.
Seeing Professor Oak walking towards him Professor Kukui excused himself from the crowd and walked towards him.
