On his way to Mt. Battle, Julian did see a desert on the horizon down south, but he didn't think much about it, as very few people call it ho.
Almost all of the southern region of Orre is a massive desert with only one water body in the southwest and light vegetation in the southeast.
Now Julian has to find this lab hidden sowhere in this vast desert. He at least knows that the lab is just south of Mt. Battle, so it won't be long before he finds sothing.
On his way out of the town, he sees Eldes once again, but this ti he doesn't bother greeting Julian, he just smiles from afar, acknowledging Julian.
Julian hopes that Eldes doesn't beat around the bushes and cos after him sooner because it will give him an excuse to capture Eldes and question him.
He can tell that Eldes is soone important and, with Eldes's intention of killing him, Julian is sure that he is from Cipher.
Julian 'I wonder how long he will wait till he makes a move.'
Julian thinks as he walks out of the town.
He takes a detour, arrives at the southern side of Mt. Battle, and looks at the horizon. There is nothing but endless deserted land, and Julian needs to find a lab that is hidden sowhere in it.
Julian 'I will need more eyes,'
He thinks and calls out so of his pokemons. Vikavolt, Charizard, Gengar, and Kyurem.
Julian "Scour the desert and try to find a lab located sowhere remote or hidden."
With Julian's instruction, Vikavolt, Gengar, and Kyurem fly away. Julian then hops on Charizard and joins the search as well.
It is better to not waste any more ti and begin the search for Professor Krane. Who knows what state he is in right now?
Julian doesn't believe that he is killed because Cipher kidnapped him for a specific reason, but that doesn't an he will not be hard. They could be torturing him this very mont to force him to do their bidding.
People might think that they can handle torture, but they can't. Sooner or later, they will break and will beco obedient. Even the toughest of trained n give up. You would need to have a monstrous amount of willpower to handle one, but Professor Krane is just a simple man. He has no prior training, he won't last long. If he opens his mouth and Cipher gets what they want, they will dispose of him.
Killing soone important and influential like Professor Krane will deal a massive blow to not only the Resistance but also the hope of curing shadow pokemons.

Charizard keeps a steady pace as he flies lower than usual while also keeping a vigilant eye. It has been half an hour and Charizard has covered a great deal of land, but there is still no sign of the lab Julian is looking for.
On foot, it would have taken him days to complete the sa task.
This is the most efficient thod he could think of. He could, of course, deploy more of his pokemons but they won't be of much help as they can't fly.
As for Crystal, well, it's deep asleep right now, and Julian doesn't trust Crystal enough to look for a remote lab in a vast desert. It would instead run off to play with the wild pokemons and harass them.
A few more minutes go by when Julian suddenly receives a ssage from Kyurem. Looks like Kyurem found the lab he is looking for.
He doesn't expect any less from a legendary Pokemon like Kyurem.
Julian guides Charizard to the location where Kyurem is and also informs his pokemons to et him there.
With Charizard's incredible speed, it doesn't take Julian long to reach Kyurem.
Hovering next to Kyurem, Julian looks down at the deserted land below him. To the naked eye, it is no different from a barren, deserted land with nothing growing on it, only dust, but a legendary Pokemon like Kyurem can easily see through such illusions.
Knowing that there is sothing here, Julian uses his power to enhance his vision.
He sees it. Past the invisible barrier is a small building with a thick tallic gate.
Julian "Looks like the lab is underground,"
Julian says and instructs Charizard to land.
His other pokemons also co back from their search. Julian sends them back to their Pokemon and starts making his way towards the invisible barrier.
Suddenly he jumps back as he senses danger. A massive blob of burning lava lands right where his feet were a second ago.
Julian 'Lava Plu'
Julian thinks as he knows this Pokemon move. A very powerful fire-type move.
He quickly looks up and sees six hoverbikes ridden by six n dressed in colorful Cipher uniforms.
Unlike normal Cipher mbers, he has encountered till now who were only silver armor. These hover bike riding mbers all have different color armor.
Red, Brown, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.
The one that just attacked him is the mber in red with his Magcargo.
Julian 'So this is how you wanna do it,'
Julian thinks and smirks, looking at the six idiots who have just been thrown into the lion's jaw.
