Gu Jue’s eyes were half-lowered, and he looked just like a big dog that had been neglected by its master.

"As soon as you ca over, you spoke with him twelve tis, and throughout the conversation, you kept making eye contact."

Su Wan couldn’t help but laugh and cry.

She was trying to probe the Insect God for information for her daughter!

Staring into soone’s eyes while talking is to see if the other person feels guilty.

Su Wan said, "Ajue, he is no match for you in any aspect. I asked him these questions because they relate to another matter."

"So, when you asked him about his age, that also relates to sothing different? It’s not your personal matter?"

"Yes, it’s not my matter."

Gu Jue, looking into his wife’s serious eyes, humd in response. Hearing the door at the back being pulled open, with subordinates coming in, Gu Jue’s wolf ears instantly retracted, but he moved closer to Su Wan, reaching out to hold her small hand.

Commander Gu’s face had already reverted to its usual cool expression.

Su Wan: "..."

This man.

anwhile, in the interrogation room, several Insectoids began to tremble all over the mont they saw Bai Li.

"Insect God, we were wrong, it was all Freya’s trickery that led us astray!"

"Yes, please forgive us, save us!"

Over the past few days, they had been interrogated by the people of Landis, and how to describe it? The Landis beings looked gentle and easy to get along with, and at the beginning, they firmly denied everything, saying that it was the Insect God who collaborated with Freya to send them to launch an attack on Landis Star.

But... these folks from Landis Star simply didn’t believe this answer, and they intended to use spiritual power to search their mories!

The powerful spiritual power of Beastn could invade soone’s brain; those whose brains are searched could end up unconscious for several days at best, or at worst... go brain-dead!

Everyone possesses the desire to live.

The reason they had betrayed the Insect God was also out of the desire to survive, as well as ambition that Freya had stirred within them!

Yes, the Insect Clan was inherently warlike, but for so reason, ever since they ca to this Universe, the Insect God had not initiated war and had instead chosen to cooperate with Landis Star.

In one Universe, there is only one king.

The overly peaceful thods of the Insect God had aroused so disapproval in the hearts of certain mbers of the Insect Clan.

These individuals were among them.

However, now that their cards were on the table, and Freya had not co to rescue them as promised, these individuals’ strong desire to survive made them want to grasp any opportunity for freedom!

The being before them, the supre god of their race, was their last chance!

"Lord, why don’t you throw us back into the Insect Nest! We’ll surely reflect on our actions there!"

Previously, mbers of the Insect Clan who had erred were thrown by the Insect God back into the collapsing Insect Nest. On the surface, it was ant to be a life of hardship, but in reality, it was actually a place for honing the Insect Clan.

Besides the loneliness.

Every day involved fighting, which was very hard work.

But the advantage was, they were still alive! Moreover, there might be a chance for growth in strength!

Although the Insect Nest was destroyed and could no longer produce Insectoids, that place was still their birthplace!

Bai Li’s eyes half-lowered, as he raised both arms, hands open. His eyes, which were originally as lustrous as gems, began to slowly turn into black vortices.

"In my na, link the brains of all Insectoids."

His voice was ethereal, as if coming from another universe, yet it poured clearly into the brains of every Insectoid of their clan.

In an instant, even the Insectoids on the distant Insectoid Planet instantly clutched their heads, and then involuntarily knelt down.

Xi Le, who was dealing with post-war matters alongside Li Rui, changed his expression and imdiately reached out, saying, "I’m sorry, sothing ca up suddenly. You handle this, I’ll be back soon."

He clutched his temples and turned to leave, while the other Insectoids following him also appeared very strange.

Li Rui frowned.

These Insectoids, so strange.

All Insectoids of this clan would receive the summons of their deity at this mont, kneeling there, clutching their temples, but with an expression of devout piety.

At that ti, at Landis Empire University, Ji Mu, Lina, and others were in the sa state.

However, while these clan mbers who had their brains linked were pious, the few traitorous Insectoids imprisoned in the military jail looked extrely pained; even the chains made of special materials could not confine them.

They writhed on the ground continuously.

They pleaded, "Lord Insect God, we were wrong. We truly realize our mistakes..."

Bai Li, with his silver hair flowing behind him, half-closed his eyes, yet said nothing.

But the life force of those traitors silently dissipated within their bodies.

Outside the glass window, Su Wan and Gu Jue watched the scene in surprise. Clear to them were only the pleas of the traitors, yet they saw no action from the Insect God against them.

Bai Li, separated by the glass window, seed like a god who rcifully cleanses his children of sin.

Su Wan: "..."

She shivered at the thought.

Although this should be sothing the deity of the Insect Clan would normally do, she couldn’t help but rember that he had deliberately gotten close to Xiaoyan and even made Xiaoyan fall for him; the image of the Insect God in Su Wan’s eyes shattered instantly.

Gu Jue, on the other hand, fell into deep thought and then said, "It must be a powerful psychic attack. Of course, this is the first ti I’ve seen the Insect God do this as well. It should be a psychic attack exclusive to the Insectoids, or perhaps, beings of similar nature."

Su Wan’s train of thought was brought back by Gu Jue as she watched the person inside: The Insect God hadn’t spoken a word, but those traitors kept talking.

She furrowed her brows in confusion, "The Insect God hasn’t spoken. So who is talking to the traitors? Otherwise, they wouldn’t be responding as if in conversation."

Su Wan guessed correctly; Bai Li was indeed communicating by linking brains.

However, he wasn’t just speaking to those traitors, but to all Insectoids in the clan.

"Today, the traitors say that I have been too gentle, forgetting our miserable lives in other universes."

"I have experienced several universes, witnessed the annihilation of different races nurous tis; violence is never the only solution."

"You believe in , born together from the Insect Nest, then follow towards a prosperous future for our clan."

"If you don’t believe in , you may leave the clan imdiately. I will withdraw the power you gained from the Insect Nest. Wherever you go, it will have nothing to do with us."

"But, it is a one-way ticket."

All Insectoids were shocked upon hearing this!

But those traitors’ eyes glead at the news!

The Insect God is not punishing them anymore? Setting them free? Though they couldn’t stay on the original Insectoid Planet anymore, they could seek refuge with Freya!

The joy on their faces was nearly impossible to conceal!
