Gu Chen could feel it; he was about to lose control of his beast transformation.

The dicine painstakingly developed by Gu Qingyu utterly failed in this mont, spiraling out of control.

At this ti, Li Rui sensed trouble and tried to rush over, but soone blocked his path, forcing him to watch helplessly as the woman, gripping Gu Chen’s hand, led him away down a different corridor.

"Your Majesty!"

Powerless to intervene, he had no choice but to imdiately summon his cha, only to find that several people had done the sa, calling forth their chas to trap Li Rui!

Gu Chen followed the woman a few steps, his eyes a bloody crimson, but his deanor remained calm. The wolf ears atop his head and wolf tail behind him indicated that he was on the verge of manic-depressive frenzy.

Ji Rao’s lips curled upward, her voice still gentle as ever, "Your Majesty, are you feeling unwell? Co, let take you to your room to rest."

Gu Chen walked a few steps, his handso brows slightly furrowed.

Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks.

Ji Rao tensed, but kept her voice soft and steady, her tone unchanged, "Your Majesty, what’s wrong?"

Gu Chen lifted his head, those crimson eyes emitting an aggressive glow. Although he looked refined at the mont, this fatal contrast quickened Ji Rao’s heartbeat and flushed her cheeks. She nervously and expectantly clenched her hands.

Gu Chen stared at her for several seconds before finally asking, "Are you a Beastman?"

Ji Rao nodded, "Yes!"

Gu Chen: "What kind of Beastman are you?"

Ji Rao didn’t understand why, but she knew she had to go along with Gu Chen. Once she got him into the room, it would be much easier to handle!

She smiled gently, "I am a Pigeon Beastman."

"A pigeon? Not a white rabbit, huh."

"What?"

The next mont, a powerful surge of electricity shot towards Ji Rao. Caught off guard, she could only use her arm to block it, and the current swiftly wrapped around her limb. Within minutes, she could no longer feel her arm!

Seeing her right arm charred to a crisp, Ji Rao was dumbfounded and collapsed to the ground!

And when she looked up, where was Gu Chen’s figure?

Gu Chen’s consciousness was not very clear at the mont, and he was in severe discomfort. In his muddled state, he believed she was not a rabbit Beastman, and he absolutely could not touch her.

But why this was, he could not explain.

If Gu Jue were here, he would tell his son that this was the strong attachnt he once had for Su Wan.

Because of that strong attachnt, even in the throes of mania, with his mind unclear, deep in his soul, he rembered only that person.

Gu Jue’s impression of Su Wan from years ago was especially vivid, allowing him to clearly seek out that individual.

But Gu Chen’s ti with Weiwei had been too short; even though his feelings for her reached bone-deep, there was still so fuzziness. He only rembered that he needed to find a rabbit.

If not the rabbit, then nothing at all.

It was as simple as that.

Gu Chen, staggering uncertainly, didn’t know where he was going. Aware of pursuers behind him, he evaded them on instinct.

But his consciousness was dissipating more and more.

When Gu Chen swayed and braced himself against the wall, his sharp wolf claws had already gouged the wall.

Suddenly, he looked up at the man before him.

The man leaned against the wall, his features indistinct, radiating a dangerous aura.

Gu Chen imdiately tensed, adopting an aggressive stance, his fingertips crackling with purple lightning, ready to strike.

This was the instinct of a Beastman!

"Who are you?"

The Insect God’s eyes half-closed, "You don’t even recognize people anymore... I am, a friend of Xiaoyan."

The manic Gu Chen actually paused for a few seconds, his chaotic mind latching onto a keyword, Xiaoyan.

Yes, Xiaoyan is the sister he cares for the most.

The crackling electric sparks shrank a little bit.

He said, "You say you’re Xiaoyan’s friend, but are you really? Do you know what her favorite color is, her favorite fruit?"

"Her favorite color is green, and her favorite fruit is apples," the Insect God answered.

"Then what’s her favorite thing?"

"Little Mushroom."

"Her favorite person?"

"..." The Insect God pressed his lips together, his tone pausing slightly before he finally let out a na, "Su Wan, her favorite person is her mother, Su Wan."

Although he did not want to admit it, the Insect God knew that in Gu Yan’s heart, the most important person was indeed the one who gave birth to her, Su Wan.

But that was indisputable.

Without Su Wan, there would be no Xiaoyan.

And most importantly, in the household of the Commander’s family of five, the four other mbers, the most important person in their hearts, was all Su Wan.

Thinking about this, the discomfort in the Insect God’s chest... the discomfort that arose from not being Xiaoyan’s favorite person, seed to dissipate quite a bit.

After hearing his answer, Gu Chen finally let his guard down, not only retracting the purple sparks at his fingertips but also retracting his sharp claws a bit.

He looked around.

"Did Xiaoyan co, too? Where is she?"

It must be said, at this mont, Gu Chen was much easier to deal with than usual. Although he normally has a cheerful deanor, he’s actually quite scheming. It’s likely that among the five mbers of the Gu family, he has the most ulterior motives.

Previously when the Insect God beca Little Mushroom and stayed by Gu Yan’s side, Gu Chen examined that mushroom every single ti.

Even though he could not find any reason for it, he always remained very suspicious.

Perhaps, it was because he cared too much about his sister, so he was extrely vigilant against any presence that appeared near her, even if that presence was just a mushroom.

Indeed, both Gu Chen and Gu Yu are veritable sister-obsessed.

The Insect God said, "She’s not here, but I’ll take you to her."

"Okay."

Gu Chen actually nodded directly and followed the pace of the Insect God.

anwhile, due to the severe conflict, a lot of people had gathered. After dealing with those chas, Li Rui led a search team, but they lost track of Gu Chen!

The ruler of Four Seasons Star imdiately said, "Let’s pull up the surveillance data. His Majesty of Landis Star went this way, shall we check it out?"

The matter of the Inducent Agent was temporarily put aside.

Watching the surveillance, Gu Chen was seen leaving with a woman... The face was not visible, but the silhouette was definitive, it was a woman, and she was affectionately holding Gu Chen’s arm.

If Gu Chen was indeed in a Manic-Depressive Period and behaving so intimately with a woman, everyone knew what kind of scene would unfold next.

Others might not understand, but Ji Rui recognized the familiar silhouette of the woman in the surveillance footage as none other but his cousin.

He turned his head, looking at Li Rui’s face which had turned deathly pale in an instant.

Li Rui was decisive too; at this mont, even if so scandal about His Majesty broke out, it was still better than His Majesty encountering danger.
