Su Wan shook her head, "Mom, I was there too, I’ll go talk to Grandpa, you rest well at ho."

Su Wan knew her mother’s heart was aching.

She discussed with Su Yun and Su Ni, asking them to take care of Su Zhen’s funeral arrangents.

Then, Su Wan took a flying vehicle back to the Third Star District.

She found Grandpa Su and recounted the whole incident to him truthfully.

Su Wan, "Grandpa, it was Du Weiwei who wanted to kill and mom and then collaborated with the Insectoid to kidnap Su Zhen. They forced him, planning to deceive mom into entering her house, and then, we could all have been blown up. At the sa ti, Du Weiwei never considered letting Su Zhen live."

"However, Su Zhen didn’t choose to do that."

All the past rights and wrongs had evaporated, hadn’t they?

At last, Su Wan was able to let go of everything.

Grandpa Su sat quietly, heaving a deep sigh.

"I was against him being infatuated with that woman from the start, I even objected to him bringing that child ho!"

And the result?

He was still killed by that woman in the end!

Su Wan half-lowered her eyes, "Du Weiwei also died in the explosion."

Grandpa Su trembled with anger, "That woman got what she deserved! From the beginning, I didn’t agree to Zhen marrying her! Later, she ran off with soone else, and Zhen t your mother, I thought, from then on, Zhen would lead a good life..."

But who could have imagined?

The child Su Zhen helped Du Weiwei raise for so many years, and this is how Du Weiwei treated him in the end!

Although Grandpa Su’s mood was downcast, he might have had a premonition and was holding up.

Su Wan sat there, speaking with Grandpa Su for a long ti before she planned to leave.

As she was about to leave, Grandpa Su said, "Wan girl, don’t... don’t hate him anymore."

Su Wan’s back was to Grandpa Su.

She nodded.

With the person gone, love and hate lost their anings.

Su Wan asked Grandma ira to look after her Grandpa more and then hurried back to the main star.

Su Yun and Su Ni had dealt with Su Zhen’s funeral, and to Su Wan’s surprise, among those who ca to mourn, she spotted Lan Rui.

Lan Rui approached Su Yun and seed to say sothing to him.

But Su Yun, his face cold, didn’t seem very willing to engage with her.

He turned and left.

Lan Rui stomped her feet in frustration where she stood.

After seeing this, Su Wan was filled with emotion.

Initially, it was Su Yun who chased after Lan Rui.

He hoped to take shortcuts through this proud little princess.

But now... even though rmaid Planet had split in two, Lan Rui’s noble status was still there.

Gu Zilan had granted the joining rmaid nobles their status still.

Especially the Lan Family, their position in the Federal Empire was not low.

Either Su Yun’s ambition was not as strong as before,

or he had found a new target and looked down on Lan Rui.

Or, Su Yun had been deeply hurt by that rmaid.

After all, Lan Rui had Su Yun’s child yet left without a word, directly terminating the pregnancy.

Lan Rui, spurned by Su Yun, stomped her feet in anger.

But this was not the right place for her to scream and shout.

Lan Rui suppressed her indignation, feeling a bit wronged.

Looking up and seeing Su Wan not far away, she imdiately ran over.

Su Wan felt overwheld and turned to walk away quickly, but to her surprise, that rmaid chased after her.

"Su Wan!"

Su Wan felt sowhat helpless, "What is it?"

Lan Rui: "Su Wan, does your older brother have a girlfriend? Or perhaps, a fiancée?"

Su Wan: "First of all, he’s not my older brother anymore. Besides, shouldn’t you be asking him directly? And lastly, wasn’t it you who didn’t want him in the first place?"

Lan Rui was extrely frustrated, guessing that the little princess had rarely ever lost face in front of n.

She had thought that Gu Jue was the pit she had fallen into most miserably.

Who would have thought that, looking back on the n she had dated, Su Yun was actually the most satisfying to her.

Yet even when she had humbled herself so much,

he didn’t even give her the ti of day?

Was it because his father had just passed away?

Su Wan, however, had no ti to deal with this pampered young lady as she turned and left.

There were too many things happening these past few days, and Su Wan had nearly overlooked little Gu Chen.

Tomorrow she would have to attend the assessnt for the First Starship Fleet again.

When Su Wan got ho, she saw little Gu Chen sitting alone playing with cha toys.

When he saw mommy co back, the little guy reached out his little hands.

Su Wan held her son and kissed his soft hair.

The little guy seed to know that mommy was feeling down, as he reached out and touched mommy’s head, "Mommy, be happy. Unhappy things will always pass, and people should be happy."

Su Wan nodded, "Yes, we must cherish the happiness we have now, and every person we are with now."

The death of Su Zhen still had so impact on Su Wan.

Su Wan hated her father, but she did not wish for him to die.

Through this event, she realized she needed to grow stronger in order to protect every mber of her family.

Besides, she would settle this account with the Insectoids sooner or later!

Thinking of that highly powerful blond woman, Su Wan spent so ti playing with her son before heading to the underground cha Training Ground to train with Vermilion Bird.

By the ti Gu Jue got ho, it was past eleven at night, bringing a chill with him.

White Tiger said, "Master, the young master and madam are both in the underground cha Training Room."

The reason was that little Gu Chen really wanted to accompany mommy, so he also went to the cha Training Room with her.

But because it was so late, the little guy fell asleep in the transford recliner mobility vehicle.

Hearing footsteps and slling daddy’s scent,

little Gu Chen opened his eyes and saw daddy, still in his military uniform.

The wolf-ear baby said softly, "Daddy, mommy seems unhappy."

Gu Jue touched his head and said, "Okay, I know. Go back to your room to sleep. I’ll stay with her."

Little Gu Chen: "Can you make her happy?"

Gu Jue: "I will try my best to make her happy."

The wolf-ear baby was actually still a bit worried as he glanced at mommy who was training inside.

He hesitated for a mont but finally chose to trust daddy.

Gu Jue had White Tiger take Little Gu Chen back to the children’s room.

He, on the other hand, took off his military jacket and hung it on the chair, tugged at his tie, and entered the training room.

Just finished with a virtual training session, Su Wan was gasping for breath.

Her bangs, half-dangling, were damp with sweat.

She looked up, puzzled, at Gu Jue.

Gu Jue had already summoned Azure Dragon and said, "I’ll spar with you."

Su Wan gripped the controller tightly, "You can’t go easy on ."

Gu Jue nodded: "Okay."

When they finally stopped, exhausted, Su Wan lay directly on the floor as she erged from the cha.

She gazed at the deep blue ceiling.

Gu Jue walked over to her, gently wiping the sweat droplets off her forehead with a towel.

Speaking softly, Su Wan said, "Gaia once said she wanted to see the future, to know if the Insectoids were completely eradicated, but she failed."
