Chapter 31: Chapter 31 What to Do When the Exclusive dicine Stops Working
Gu Zilan glanced at the young woman in her early twenties, beautiful and innocent, then back at the serious expression on his little uncle’s face.
He was at a loss for words.
For Su Wan, it was even more embarrassing; she looked at the emperor and empress as if they had been struck by lightning and couldn’t help herself; she reached out to tug on Gu Jue’s sleeve.
The usually stoic Commander lowered his gaze to this small action, his heart softening a bit.
But his eyes held a trace of confusion as if asking what was wrong.

He imdiately had soone bring out a dark blue gift box, the size of a palm, with a tallic fra around it shining with golden light.
Su Wan glanced at it, and the fra might actually be made of gold.
She didn’t imdiately accept the gift but looked at Gu Jue first; after he nodded, she then reached out and took it.
She couldn’t help but feel that this was similar to a child needing an adult’s permission before accepting a gift from soone else...
The two finally left the Imperial Palace together.
Once they were back on Gu Jue’s flying vehicle, Su Wan let out a sigh of relief and slumped down.
She whispered, "Why did you let the Emperor call
auntie? He is the Emperor, after all."
"I am his uncle, and besides, the eting just now was a private one amongst family."
Su Wan understood but still found it hard to accept.
Not only did the Emperor have to call her little auntie, but also send a wedding gift; truly unfortunate.
Well, the embarrassnt was over; no need to recall it and make herself uncomfortable again.
She took out the gift box they had received earlier and handed it to Gu Jue, "You keep this thing."
Gu Jue appeared extrely weary, his half-closed eyes slowly opening, his fair skin blushing with a hint of pink.
"Not going to open it and have a look?"

No, boss, I didn’t say I wanted to travel the universe with you!
She checked the ti and it was already late. She had a class early the next morning and needed to return to the university. Suddenly, she felt sothing was amiss.
When Su Wan looked down, she found a very familiar fluffy tail skillfully hooking onto her military boots!
It probably wanted to hook around her calf, but the boots blocked it and the tail seed a bit annoyed as it twisted and turned.
"Commander, what is this..."

No sooner had she spoken than the man beside her suddenly collapsed with a crash right on top of her!
Su Wan gritted her teeth in pain since the other person was a nearly 1.9 ters tall man!
After stabilizing herself, she suddenly felt an itch on her face—it was those extrely soft and fluffy ears.
"Sister..."
The man leaning into Su Wan’s arms had eyes that seed to be misted with a layer of water. He murmured softly, holding on to Su Wan as if he had no sense of security.
That familiar feeling hit her again.
It was Ajue.
Su Wan quickly supported him, looking around in a panic, and urgently said, "White Tiger, your master is like this, and you’re playing dead?"
White Tiger imdiately responded, "Madam, I am not playing dead. My master is different from normal Beastn. He has a Manic-Depressive Period almost every month."
"Once a month? Then, where is the exclusive dicine?"
"It doesn’t work anymore."
Su Wan felt her ears buzz too, suddenly having a bad premonition!
"Doesn’t work anymore, what do you an by that?"
"It ans that after you beca his exclusive dicine, none of the other exclusive dicines work anymore."

At this ti, Ajue lifted his head, his eyes watery, and said with a pitiful voice, "Sister, are you leaving ?"
Su Wan’s feelings were complicated as she tried to bargain, "Can I go?"
The next mont, tears started to well up in Ajue’s beautiful eyes, rolling down his pale cheeks one by one.
With a plink, they landed on the back of Su Wan’s hand.
It felt as if they had landed right on her heart.
Indeed, in such a situation, could she leave?
Su Wan soothingly kissed Ajue’s forehead, which relaxed him a bit, but his cheeks were flushed red, and his palms sweaty.
He clung to Su Wan with strong dependency, resting his chin on her shoulder.
Su Wan asked White Tiger, "Which direction is the flying vehicle headed now?"
"The master told
before, we are flying back to his residence."
It’s likely that Gu Jue sensed his Manic-Depressive Period coming on, which is why he made his excuses to Zilan and his friends and left with Su Wan.
Su Wan looked at the big boy sticking to her in her arms and thought a bit gloomily, Gu Jue wouldn’t divorce her—seems like he intends to keep her as a long-term ’exclusive dicine’!
But she rubbed the fluffy tail and ultimately couldn’t bring herself to push Ajue away.
