Chapter 21: Chapter 21 More Tea than Green Tea

Su Wan stood to the side with a sigh, thinking that her mom’s acting skills were nowhere near as good as Su Man’s, the delicate little white lotus.

She got angry in no ti, and in the end, she still had to play the villain.

If she wasn’t mistaken, her father, Su Zhen, would show up in a few minutes.

Su Wan quickly walked over and reached out to steady the ’staggering’ Su Man.

She said with concern, "Oh dear, Xiaoman, why did you co out? Why aren’t you resting in your room? Why don’t you go lie down in the healing pod? If you end up with a chronic illness and beco la, what then?"

Su Man’s face went through several shades before she said bitterly, "I’d rather be la. As long as Mom isn’t angry with

anymore, I’d be willing to break my leg right now!"

Lin Ranyue stood beside them holding a kitchen knife, frowning with a fierce expression on her face.

She was so tempted to chop off the leg of this little vixen with one slice!

This was precisely the mont Su Zhen made his entrance.

He looked at one and then the other, asking, "What’s going on?"

Su Man was just about to speak pitifully, but Su Wan cut her off, "Dad, Mom was thinking of making that signature dish you two used to cook together for dinner tonight."

Su Zhen looked dubiously at his wife, who was still holding the kitchen knife with a ferocious look, and was very skeptical of his daughter’s words.

Lin Ranyue, catching the signal in her daughter’s eyes, harrumphed sowhat unwillingly, "Yeah, but I wonder if it will be as delicious as it used to be."

Su Zhen’s expression softened, and he rolled up his shirt sleeves after undoing his cufflinks, saying, "Cook it and you’ll see how it tastes."

Su Man couldn’t bear to just let it go; she sniffed forcefully.

Su Zhen turned his head to see her red eyes and frowned, asking, "Xiaoman, why are you crying?"

On the other hand, Su Wan, acting as if they were the best of sisters, wrapped an arm around Su Man’s shoulder and said with a smile, "Just now, Xiaoman insisted on helping to chop the onions, but she ended up crying after only a few cuts."

Su Wan turned to Su Man and winked, "Xiaoman, let’s leave the kitchen to Mom and Dad. We shouldn’t be third wheels here."

After saying this, she ’helped’ Su Man to walk out, regardless of whether she was willing or not.

Su Man, unable to voice her distress, could only force a laugh and agree.

Once they reached the top of the stairs and turned the corner, the long hallway was empty except for the two of them.

Su Wan quickly let go of Su Man’s arm, leaned against the wall, and with a smile that was not quite a smile, said, "Su Man, if your leg becos la, you’d better take good care of it instead of flitting around near my mom."

Su Man replied with aggrieved innocence, "Sister, I didn’t an it. I didn’t expect Mom to get that angry."

"Of course, she’s angry, especially when so people say such nasty things. But no matter whether my parents get divorced or not, the door of the Su Family will never be open for your mom to enter."

Su Man’s pupils constricted, and she bit her lip, "Sister, what do you an by that? I don’t understand what you’re saying."

Su Wan patted her shoulder and said, "It doesn’t matter if you didn’t understand the last sentence, but make sure you understand this one. You still hope your leg will heal, right?"

The false expression on Su Man’s face slowly faded away.

She looked straight at Su Wan, "Are you threatening ?"

"Not at all, I’m just showing concern for you," replied Su Wan, her lips curling into a smirk before she turned to leave.

Just then, the ceiling light above Su Man’s head flickered, casting an even darker shadow over her face.

Su Wan didn’t care about her.

Back on Ancient Earth, Su Wan had co across a saying that felt very fitting.

It was that when facing a shaless green tea bitch, one should fight magic with magic, be even more bitchy than her, and leave her with no way out!
