Inside the tavern, the ferocious, vicious pirates burst into loud laughter because of Luffy’s foolish question.

Nami and Vivi happened to walk in and see this scene.

It was really too chaotic here, so they could only stand to the side and quietly observe.

The laughter without knowing the reason was the most infuriating.

But Luffy stood in the middle of the crowd, yet not a trace of anger could be seen on his face.

"In short, we are going to Sky Island."

The laughter inside the tavern beca even sharper, each wave louder than the last.

After a long ti, the laughter of the crowd gradually subsided, but one person’s ear-piercing laugh still echoed through the tavern.

The seated pirates shifted their gazes onto this man, and their expressions instantly changed.

Bellamy.

The most infamous pirate around here.

He often plundered the fruits of others’ hard work, and thus was ridiculed as the "Hyena."

Bellamy sat at a spot before the bar counter, draped in a blue cloak, laughing exaggeratedly.

"Really can’t stand you guys, where are you pig-heads from?"

"Sailors who used to know nothing, after seeing the strange sight of ships falling from the sky, fantasized about the existence of Sky Island."

"In reality, those ships were nothing more than carried up by the Knock-Up Stream."

Luffy stared blankly at him, not speaking.

"Co on." Bellamy waved his hand at Luffy with a smile. "I’ll treat you to a drink."

Thick-skinned as always, a smile instantly blood on Luffy’s face. He walked over and sat beside Bellamy.

"Didn’t expect you to be a good person."

Bellamy’s underlings, seeing this scene, all exchanged knowing smiles.

"Bellamy’s tastes are still this strange."

"Yeah, this kid is in for it."

The surrounding pirates also looked over with great interest, each of them holding a malicious smile at the corners of their mouths.

Those familiar with Bellamy all knew there would be a good show.

"Please."

"Thanks~"

Bellamy pushed the drink served by the boss in front of Luffy. Without any guard up, Luffy picked up the cup and gulped it all down.

Seeing this, the curve of Bellamy’s lips kept rising, finally twisting into a ferocious grin.

He suddenly stood up, grabbed Luffy’s hair with one hand, and slamd his head forcefully onto the floor.

The bar counter was directly split into two by the impact of Luffy’s head.

Zoro’s eyes flashed with killing intent, his blade already drawn, pressed right against Bellamy’s neck.

Bellamy’s eyes shifted slightly, and he laughed provocatively, "What are you doing? Little underling."

"This is a question you should be answering!" The veins on the back of Zoro’s hand holding the sword twitched uncontrollably, and his eyes glinted with a cold sharpness.

Both sides were on the verge of clashing, and the pirates who loved a ruckus imdiately began to stir things up.

Luffy also crawled up from the ground, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Looks like you’ve already prepared yourself to fight !"

Bellamy laughed recklessly.

"This isn’t a fight, I’m just testing your strength, then making you into a crew mber of the New Era."

"But..." his expression suddenly turned grim and terrifying, "you bastard actually love to daydream so much!"

"Listen up, the era of pirates having dreams is already over!"

"What Golden City, ONE PIECE, they don’t exist at all!"

Luffy looked at him quietly, his tightly clenched fist suddenly loosening.

Bellamy beca even more agitated, grabbing a wine bottle at hand and smashing it hard onto Luffy’s head.

"Seeing you bunch of fools chasing dreams makes sick to the core!"

"You!" Zoro was just about to strike, but was stopped by Luffy lying on the ground.

"Absolutely don’t fight him!"

Zoro gave him a deep look, understood what he ant, and then sheathed his sword back.

Bellamy escalated further, catching the two of them and giving them a ruthless beating.

"Why aren’t they fighting back?" Nami was already finding it unbearable to keep watching.

"Haha, because they’re smart, they know they can’t beat us."

Sarquiss, the right-hand man of Bellamy’s Pirates, was sitting in front of Nami. Hearing her question, he turned around and laughed.

"Never resisting the strong is the survival thod of the weak. Although doing this is a bit too spineless, haha..."

Nami scoffed.

"What twisted reasoning. If you don’t resist, are you just going to sit and wait for death?"

That man had once told her, only resistance brings a chance of survival.

"If just because one’s strength is greater than others, one thinks oneself a strong person, then that’s the true idiot."

"There are plenty of things in this world that only the weak can accomplish."

Sarquiss hadn’t expected the little girl in front of him to dare refute him like this, and secretly felt displeased.

"Your thinking is really too naive. Like that you won’t be able to survive in this era."

His eyes secretly sized up Nami and Vivi, discovering that both their figures and bearing far surpassed their crew’s doctor, Muret.

Sarquiss gave birth to crooked thoughts.

"You two, why not consider joining us? I’ll show you what true strength really is!"

Nami stuck out her tongue.

"I don’t want to be with a small fry like you!"

"Hahaha..." Sarquiss laughed angrily. "Small fry? I’m a great pirate with a bounty as high as 38 million Berries!"

Nami’s expression was filled with disdain.

"38 million, so what? On our ship, even the lowest bounty is higher than that."

On her ship, there was currently only one person with a governnt bounty, and that was Jotaro.

So saying that was no problem.

After speaking, Nami couldn’t even be bothered to deal with this boring man anymore.

Being looked down on so lightly, an unnaable fury faintly burned in Sarquiss’s chest.

With a muffled bang, the window shattered, shards falling to the floor like raindrops.

Blood splattered from Luffy’s head, yet still he didn’t fight back.

Zoro’s condition wasn’t much better either.

Both of them were covered in blood, lying on the ground without a word.

Nami, though she didn’t really know them, felt extrely angry at Bellamy seeing them beaten so miserably.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of Jotaro walking in through the door.

At that mont, it was as if she saw a savior.

"Jotaro, this guy nad Bellamy is just too vile, hurry and teach him a lesson."

"Don’t order around." Hands in his pockets, Jotaro walked past Nami, clearly not wanting to ddle.

"Compared to this bastard Bellamy, I actually find the guys who get beaten up like this and still don’t fight back even more infuriating."

Since he had co in anyway, Jotaro went over to the bar counter to order a drink.

"..." Nami stared at his back, feeling a little deflated.

In the center of the room, Bellamy looked down on the badly injured Luffy and Zoro, spitting on them.

"Such a letdown, I’m done playing! It’s exactly because trash like you exist that the quality of us pirates gets dragged down!"

"Living in dreams really is happiness. Don’t tell you’re still fantasizing about that impossible Sky Island now?"

"Hahahaha~"

The pirates watching the commotion around joined in, "Hurry and get lost, this town isn’t a place for cowardly drears."

"Sky Island exists!!!!"

Nami bit her silver teeth lightly, then shouted loudly.

Watching the two of them being bullied like this by so many, their dreams trampled on, she truly could no longer endure it.
