Feeling the stinging pain on both her cheeks, Tengen couldn't help but look at Gojo Satoru beside her with a resentful gaze.

However, Gojo Satoru clearly ignored Tengen's visual assault, making Tengen feel that if she stared at him for even a mont longer, he would accuse her of attempted misconduct.

Tengen sighed helplessly, lowering her head, and then began sensing the state of her current body.

Chinatsu's guess had been correct. With Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru acting as her safety net, she had chosen the path of evolution, prepared to risk everything.

Although the process was arduous, painful, and convoluted, she managed to push through. It was only the mont she successfully evolved that she lost consciousness due to ntal exhaustion, which led to the recent commotion.

Chinatsu stood, looking down at Tengen, who was sitting cross-legged on the floor. She relayed the situation that Yaga Masamichi had discussed with her over the phone earlier.

Chinatsu had assud that since Tengen was awake, restoring the failed barriers would be a matter of minutes. To her surprise, Tengen's face imdiately changed color upon hearing the news.

"What? All my barriers have failed!"

Tengen couldn't help but cover her cheek with one hand, looking sowhat distraught.

All the barriers, large and small, across the country had indeed been personally set by her, and she certainly had the ability to repair them.

But her Cursed Energy manipulation range wasn't that extensive. It wasn't like a computer network where adjusting one setting would instantly synchronize all national barriers. To truly fix them, she would probably have to embark on a nationwide tour, repairing them city by city.

"She's going to be busy..." Watching Tengen exhale a massive sigh, Gojo Satoru couldn't help but secretly chuckle with schadenfreude.

He had initially thought that Tengen would handle everything and he would be free, but the very next day after they left the Tomb Chamber, mountains of Jujutsu missions appeared before them.

Although Tengen was traveling nationwide to repair the various ineffective barriers, fixing barriers was not a task that could be accomplished overnight. In many areas lacking barriers, Cursed Spirits were showing clear signs of unrest.

Currently, most Jujutsu Sorcerers in the Jujutsu World had entered "overti mode." Fortunately, this "overti" ca with "overti pay," which ant that a portion of the Jujutsu Sorcerers who relied on completing missions to earn money and support their families were not opposed to working extra hours; in fact, this group ford the core workforce for overti.

Jujutsu Sorcerers from established Jujutsu families, however, did not lack money. They maintained their original pace of eliminating Cursed Spirits and strictly refused overti.

Now that Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru had beco the strongest, their work efficiency was equivalent to fighting ten or even a hundred others. The entire Jujutsu World was urging them both to work hard and take on overti.

Although Chinatsu was an anti-overti advocate, the failure of the barriers was a chain reaction resulting from her interference with the Tengen portion of the original work. She felt she needed to take responsibility.

Tokyo tropolitan Curse Technical College.

Chinatsu and Gojo Satoru were selecting and organizing the Jujutsu missions they would execute. They divided them based on location, for example, one taking the eastern direction and the other the western, so they wouldn't have to run around aimlessly and waste energy.

Just as the two of them were discussing back and forth in the classroom, two figures appeared in the hallway outside, peering through the window at them.

"Our senior sister and senior brother are so motivated! I want to quickly beco a full-fledged Jujutsu Sorcerer too!"

"You'll have your chance in the future, but not this ti. With the Cursed Spirit unrest caused by the barrier failures, it's best if we first-years don't get in the way."

Since Chinatsu and her peers had advanced to their second year, Tokyo Jujutsu High had naturally welcod a new batch of first-year students.

The excited boy shouting about wanting to quickly stand on his own was nad Haibara, and the blond, side-swept bangs boy beside him was nad Kento Nanami.

They were both mbers on Chinatsu's rescue list, because in the original work, both of them had died.

Haibara died relatively early. The cause of his death was during a Jujutsu mission where the higher-ups misjudged the Cursed Spirit's Grade, classifying a Grade 1 Cursed Spirit as a Grade 2. Haibara was literally cut in half by the Grade 1 Cursed Spirit.

Kento Nanami died after the main storyline began, during the Shibuya Incident. He faced the Disaster Cursed Spirit Jogo, buying ti against the Special Grade with his Grade 1 body. After being severely burned and injured, his life was harvested by the Disaster Cursed Spirit Mahito.

Chinatsu naturally noticed the two people peeking outside the classroom. Kento Nanami could be safely ignored for now, but Haibara was the main concern.

Not only was he getting closer to dangerous plot points, but Chinatsu was also worried that if she failed to save Haibara, the news of his death reaching Geto Suguru, who had a good relationship with him, might render all of Chinatsu's previous efforts useless.

Of course, Chinatsu also understood that even if she removed all the factors that led to Geto Suguru's ntal breakdown, he still had the potential to break down.

Because Geto Suguru's way of thinking was different from ordinary people; he was too extre. Currently, he was extrely focused on using everything he had to protect the weak. Once the spiritual pillar supporting him shattered, it would be easy for him to swing from one extre to the other.

While Chinatsu was lost in thought, Gojo Satoru finished organizing the Jujutsu missions he was responsible for first.

"Sis, I'm heading out. I promised Geto we'd play basketball at the park tomorrow, and I can't let these missions delay that."

After saying this, Gojo Satoru rushed out of the classroom without delay. After greeting Haibara and Kento Nanami, he quickly disappeared.

Chinatsu sighed helplessly. She had no appointnts, so she could "leisurely" complete her massive pile of Jujutsu missions.

Soon, Chinatsu also finished organizing her missions. Just as she was preparing to leave the classroom and start her busy schedule, the phone tucked in her pocket suddenly let out a "beep! beep! beep!" sound.

Chinatsu suspiciously pulled the phone out of her pocket and was startled to see that it was the Elder calling.

Since enrolling at Jujutsu High, the frequency of her and Gojo Satoru returning ho had dropped sharply, and with fewer trips ho, contact with the Elder had naturally decreased.

"Hello? Elder? Is sothing the matter?"

"Chinatsu, are you free right now? If you are, please co ho. There are so things I need to discuss with you..."
