The police officer walking toward them stared dumbfounded, listening to Chinatsu's words and looking at the foam-mouthed Jujutsu Sorcerer she was dragging with one hand. For a mont, he didn't know what to say.

Although the concept of the Jujutsu Sorcerer had been formally introduced to the public, and a privately run Relevant Departnt was established to handle Jujutsu disputes.

However, there was a popular joke among the public: there's a work status called "Currently Under Investigation," and there's a departnt that can never be found, called the Relevant Departnt. As for the actual na of this Relevant Departnt, don't ask Confucius or ncius if they know—I certainly don't.

Seeing the confused look on the police officer's face, as if three large question marks were floating above his head, Chinatsu realized she had clearly asked the wrong person.

"Sorry, I'll ask soone else then."

Chinatsu waved dismissively at the police officer, took out her phone, and dialed a number.

Although she didn't know the phone number for the Relevant Departnt, Chinatsu could confidently state that she had connections. Surely, she could find out how to handle a common criminal Jujutsu Sorcerer.

Soon, the call Chinatsu made was answered. Within her vast yet narrow network of contacts, she chose the relatively most reliable senior—her forr horoom teacher at Jujutsu High, who was now the Principal of Jujutsu High.

Yaga Masamichi.

Speaking of which, Yaga Masamichi, who had recently been pushed to the forefront to handle the coordination between the Jujutsu World and ordinary society, was extrely busy.

At this mont, he was sitting in the Principal's office at Jujutsu High, his desk piled high with project docunts. The phone next to him rang intermittently, mostly for consultation matters from ordinary society.

"None of those brats bother coming over to help share the load. Forget it. The great battle hasn't been over long, so I'll be considerate to you great heroes. But once I stabilize the general situation, none of you should think about slacking off anymore!"

Yaga Masamichi muttered under his breath and wearily raised a hand to rub the bridge of his nose, letting out a sigh.

Speaking of which, the Jujutsu Higher-Ups had actually undergone a major reform. When did this happen? Naturally, it was during the period after the great battle when Chinatsu was lying in the hospital bed.

How could such a major event as the formal integration of the Jujutsu World and ordinary society still be left to the corrupt forr Jujutsu World Higher-ups? Following a round of "friendly" and "civilized" "discussions," nearly half of the forr Jujutsu World Higher-ups vanished without a trace.

If it weren't to prevent too many sudden vacancies from making the reform counterproductive, several more people would have disappeared from the surface.

New replaced the old, and ideals were updated.

Chinatsu wasn't sure how long the positive effects of this reform would last. After all, just like there are no immortal dynasties, corruption is inevitable. All they could do was ensure this positive influence lasted as long as possible.

However, whether or not they would beco corrupt was a topic for the distant future; even Yaga Masamichi, who was currently handling state affairs, wasn't thinking that far ahead.

Just as he had briefly finished handling the project docunts and was about to lean back in his chair for a short rest, the phone on the desk suddenly rang.

"Here we go again..."

Yaga Masamichi sighed helplessly. He stood up again and reached for the phone, expecting another inquiry from ordinary society, but the voice on the other end was a familiar one.

"Chinatsu?"

"Hehe, how have you been, Principal?"

Even just hearing her voice, Yaga Masamichi could imagine Chinatsu's cheeky grin. He didn't show any impatience, however, and patiently asked about Chinatsu's health before inquiring why she was calling him.

Upon learning that Chinatsu had called him because she encountered a rogue Jujutsu Sorcerer attempting to commit a cri on the road but didn't know how to handle him, Yaga Masamichi fell into a brief silence.

If Chinatsu had encountered this before the Jujutsu World integrated with ordinary society, she would have decisively attacked the Curse User with a barrage of punches and kicks; a bruised and swollen face would have been considered getting off lightly.

Normally, they wouldn't choose to detain them, as the manpower of Jujutsu Sorcerers wasn't abundant. It was easier to use the "Iron Fist of Love" to physically discipline these disobedient guys, hoping they would turn over a new leaf and do sothing useful in the future.

But now things were different... "I will send people from the Relevant Departnt to take him into custody shortly. The past is the past, and the present is the present. By the way, you haven't used private corporal punishnt on that guy, have you?"

Listening to Yaga Masamichi's words on the other end, Chinatsu paused, then looked down at the foam-mouthed, white-eyed Jujutsu Sorcerer she was currently dragging.

"Hmm... Absolutely not!"

Chinatsu answered very sincerely, though Yaga Masamichi had a good idea of how much credibility her words actually held.

After two sighs on the other end of the line, Chinatsu thought the conversation was winding down and she could exchange a few more pleasantries before hanging up, but Yaga Masamichi abruptly switched the topic to a different subject.

Listening to Yaga Masamichi's words, Chinatsu first fell into a brief silence, and then the corner of her mouth lifted slightly.

"Of course, no problem."

A few months later, on a bustling street.

A girl wearing a Jujutsu High uniform was talking to a model scout, though it was less of a conversation and more of a one-sided monologue from the girl.

"Model scout, what do you think of ?"

"Well, uh, I'm in a hurry..."

"What's the big idea? Don't run away! Explain yourself!"

The girl's forceful words completely flustered the model scout in front of her. His face was covered in sweat, and though he tried to run, the girl yanked him back with one hand.

Just as the scout was desperately pleading to be released, soone else, also wearing a Jujutsu High uniform, walked quickly toward them with his hands in his pockets.

"My na is Fushiguro gumi. You must be Nobara Kugisaki. Co with , I'm taking you to report to Jujutsu High."

Fushiguro gumi stopped in front of Nobara Kugisaki. Whether it was his uniform or his rather cold tone of voice, Nobara Kugisaki's attention was instantly captured.

Nobara Kugisaki scrutinized the aloof Fushiguro gumi before her. She released the model scout's arm, placed one hand on her hip, and tilted her head slightly.

"Oh~ So you're my classmate? You're not bad looking, but I don't really like n who are full of themselves. Sorry, but you're out."
