Just as many spectators were wondering whether Hakari Kinji would finally concede, a surge of overwhelming cursed energy erupted once more.
Allen didn't even have ti to react—
In the blink of an eye, he was dragged back into the Domain again, forcibly starting yet another round of the ga.
This ti, it wasn't just Allen who froze.
The audience was completely dumbfounded.
---
"Wait—
you can do that?!"
Asam's eyes went wide as he braced both hands on the table, utterly stunned.
"Hakari Kinji's Domain has no offensive properties and consus relatively little energy," Kusakabe explained calmly.
"That's why he can activate it repeatedly. Of course, the probability of gaining the buff isn't high—his opponent still has a chance to win."
BOOM!!
Before Kusakabe even finished speaking, Hakari reappeared on the battlefield, wrapped in an ocean of cursed energy.
The leg that had been blown off monts ago was now completely restored.
Luck had chosen him again.
"Uh… right, as I said earlier," Kusakabe hurriedly added,
"Hakari Kinji is a hot-blooded gambler. His luck has always been… exceptional."
On the battlefield, Hakari was fully in the zone.
He could feel it—today was the kind of day where everything might just ignite completely.
Allen, on the other hand, had gone completely stone-faced.
A hundred percent jackpot rate—how was anyone supposed to fight that?!
The odds were supposed to be low.
So why had this man hit the jackpot twice in a row?!
It made no sense.
It wasn't logical.
It wasn't fair.
But reality didn't give Allen ti to question probability.
Hakari, once again clad in invincibility, charged forward.
What awaited Allen was another four minutes and eleven seconds of brutal punishnt—
Or surrender.
But for a Simurian warrior, surrender was never an option.
There was only victory… or being beaten down.
"As long as I survive the next four minutes and eleven seconds, I still have a chance!"
Allen clenched his teeth, eyes blazing with determination.
He refused to believe anyone's luck could last forever.
And so, an absurd yet spectacular beating unfolded before the crowd.
With sheer willpower and iron determination, Allen endured yet another round.
Barely standing.
Bloodied.
But still conscious.
---
"Domain Expansion—Idle Death Gamble!"
Hakari didn't hesitate.
The mont his buff faded, he activated his Domain again, without leaving the slightest opening.
No pause.
No rcy.
No delay.
He could feel it.
Today…
Today he might just break his own record.
---
"WHAT THE HELL?!
He activated it again—again and again and AGAIN?!"
Zen'in Kaon couldn't help but feel a pang of envy.
She still barely grasped the fundantals of Domains, while these seniors were deploying them as casually as breathing.
Kaguya Okkotsu couldn't help but complain as well.
"I finally get it," he muttered.
"Why my dad said Uncle Hakari is stronger than him when he's in top form."
"This isn't even fighting anymore—
it's straight-up cheating."
After that, Hakari Kinji proceeded—before everyone's stunned eyes—to activate his Domain two more tis in a row, and each ti he hit the jackpot with a 100% success rate.
As for Allen, despair finally swallowed him whole.
He had been beaten senseless for nearly twenty straight minutes, and all of his cursed energy had been drained dry just to maintain Reverse Cursed Technique.
In the end, all he could do was lose consciousness under Hakari's relentless onslaught, his eyes filled with resentnt.
"You're… a fraud…"
Those were Allen's last words before blacking out, his gaze fixed bitterly on Hakari.
Hakari, anwhile, was still riding the high of hitting four consecutive jackpots, completely absorbed in the thrill.
He had a feeling that a record like this might never be broken again.
"Sorry," Hakari said casually.
"I told you—my luck is pretty good too."
What he didn't say was that even if luck abandoned him, he'd still force it back into his hands.
---
"Match over! Adult Division, Round One—Victory for the Jujutsu World!
Current score: 2–0! The Simurian team is temporarily behind!"
With the first match concluded, the jujutsu side took a clear lead.
"Ha ha ha, the jujutsu world truly is full of hidden dragons," Leo said cheerfully, as if the loss didn't bother him in the slightest.
"Just happened to be that Hakari was in good form today," Gojo Satoru replied lightly.
"Otherwise, who knows who would've won."
On the surface, Gojo appeared relaxed, but inwardly, his curiosity was growing.
What exactly was the High Priest planning?
Or… what was he waiting for?
If war was their goal, there was no reason to go through the trouble of holding an exchange tournant.
The next mont, Gojo sensed sothing subtle. His gaze shifted into the distance, a glint flashing through his eyes.
"So that's how it is…"
---
"Second match! The Simurian side will send out a contestant first, followed by the jujutsu world!"
As the comntator announced the next round, the Simurian team dispatched a new fighter.
On the jujutsu side, however, because they were still in the lead, none of the top-tier sorcerers stepped forward.
In the end, a regular Grade 1 sorcerer entered the arena.
The gap between a Grade 1 sorcerer and a Simurian elite was simply too large. After only a few exchanges, the jujutsu side lost.
The next four matches followed the sa pattern—Grade 1 sorcerers stepping up, only to be defeated one after another.
Very quickly, the score was reversed.
5–2.
Five points for the Simurian side.
Two points for the jujutsu world.
Only four matches remained.
That ant if the jujutsu world lost even one more, the entire exchange would be decided.
---
"What's going on?!"
Kaon was practically spinning in her seat.
"Why aren't my cousin and the others stepping in yet?! If we lose one more match, it's over!"
She was so anxious she wished she could jump into the arena herself.
But the rules were clear—youth division participants were forbidden from competing in the adult division.
"Relax," Kaguya said softly.
"Principal Gojo and the others don't seem worried at all."
"Besides, Grade 1 sorcerers are already strong. It's just that every single opponent on their side is operating at Special Grade-level combat power. Their average strength is far beyond ours."
Although the jujutsu world was stronger than before, with two to three hundred sorcerers total, only forty or fifty were truly above Grade 1.
The rest were mostly Grade 2, 3, or even 4—nowhere near the Simurian race's overall level.
"People like Uncle Hakari—non–Special Grades who can still defeat Special Grades—are rare," Kaguya continued.
"And not every powerful sorcerer actually cares about winning this exchange."
"See Uncle Toji?"
"If he stepped in, he could definitely secure a point—but he almost never gets involved with jujutsu affairs. The fact that he even ca to watch today is already unusual."
"And that man over there—Higuruma Hiromi. My dad once said he's incredibly strong too, on par with Special Grades. But he left the jujutsu world long ago and beca a regular lawyer."
"I didn't expect him to show up here either."
Kaguya scanned the crowd.
He recognized several faces—powerful sorcerers he'd glimpsed as a child, all of whom had retired early.
Yet now, every one of them had appeared.
"It feels like sothing big is about to happen."
"Maybe they're just here for the spectacle," Kaon replied.
"After all, this involves aliens."
Her gaze swept the arena again.
"By the way… Ria still hasn't shown up, has she? What's going on? She's not replying to my ssages either. Did she text any of you?"
She had spotted soone in the Simurian ranks who looked exactly like Ria—but judging by her eyes and deanor, it had to be Ria's sister.
"Nope," Kaguya shook his head, then glanced at Gojo Kamui.
Kamui shot him a sideways look.
"I haven't seen her either. Do you really think she'd skip you guys and ssage instead?"
"So annoying…" Kaon muttered, raking her fingers through her hair.
"The match is at a critical point, Ria's missing, and my parents still haven't arrived."
"What on earth are they doing?"
