"Thank you for the complint, Lady Goddess."
Levi put on his clothes and replied with a cheeky grin.
"I wasn't complinting you!" Hestia slapped Levi's arm, her expression gradually turning serious. "Rember, you are not to tell anyone the details of your Falna, except for ."
"Don't worry, I'm not so naive little rabbit."
Normally, after an adventurer joins a Familia and receives the Falna from their patron deity, they need to register at The Guild.
However, Levi didn't want to make two trips. He was mainly afraid of being caught by the highly responsible half-elf Guild employee, Eina, for a redial lesson, which would waste the entire day. So, after breakfast, he headed straight into the Dungeon.
This wasn't reckless. In the previous two weeks, Levi had already fully explored the first five floors of the Dungeon.
He had a prudent personality. While he didn't plan to max out all his Level 1 abilities, he never considered delving into the lower floors until he at least reached rank E or D.
"...So, this is why you waited until late afternoon to register as an adventurer?"
The half-elf girl sitting behind the counter pushed up her reflective glasses. Her tone of voice was gentle, yet it sent a chilling, bone-deep cold through one's body.
Levi sat on the other side of the counter, filling out his information while calmly nodding. "An adventurer never takes unnecessary risks. I've taken Miss Eina's advice to heart."
"..." Hearing this, Eina didn't quite know how to respond.
If she called him reckless, he had only been wandering the first five floors after receiving his Falna.
If she called him cautious, he had dared to enter the Dungeon to earn money from Magic Stones before even joining a Familia.
With a helpless sigh, Eina shook her head and took out a small booklet from a drawer.
"This is a monster guide and map for the first 18 floors, recorded and compiled by The Guild. Take it ho and morize it. I'll be checking your progress when we et tomorrow."
"Alright."
Levi nodded. There was no reason for him to refuse soone's goodwill.
Besides, he genuinely needed information on the subsequent floors to prepare for the great undertaking of leveling up his Falna.
Orario's lower-class adventurers were mostly concentrated on the first ten floors of the Dungeon, with the relatively safe first five floors being a particularly crowded area.
The ratio of adventurers to monsters generated by the Dungeon wasn't exactly 'too many monks, too little gruel,' but it still prevented Levi from maximizing his farming efficiency.
That being said, it wasn't particularly difficult for Levi to learn the anatomy of Goblins and Kobolds and intentionally avoid the location of the latter's Magic Stones during attacks to ensure a drop from every battle.
As a result, in just eight days, Levi's wealth had quietly accumulated to over 190,000 Valis.
His ability scores, on the other hand, had only increased by 2 to 3 points in Strength, Endurance, Dexterity, and Agility, perhaps due to his high potential and the fact that he was fighting the weakest monsters. His Magic was slightly better, having just passed 5 points.
In terms of aptitude alone, Levi considered himself inferior to Orario's top adventurers.
Not to ntion Bell Cranel, the protagonist of DanMachi, who, with his Liaris Freese, went from Level 1 to Level 5 in less than a year.
Fortunately, he was a cheater himself.
'System, show your limits!'
Back at the Familia's ho, after dinner and a cold shower, Levi sat on the sofa, opened the Genshin Impact gacha pool, set the Vision as the rate-up item, and silently chanted in his mind:
'My turn, draw!'
10,000 Valis from his inventory were instantly consud, followed by the phantom of ten shooting stars—nine white and one green—streaking across Levi's vision.
After the cutscene disappeared:
[You obtained: Lv1 Designated Ability Boost Ticket ( 100) x1, Lv1 Designated Ability Boost Ticket ( 10) x5, Skill Proficiency Boost Ticket (10 days) x4.]
Knowing he was an F2P player with bad luck, Levi never fantasized about getting a lucky first pull.
Seeing that the first ten-pull was a standard pity drop, his expression remained unchanged as he proceeded to the second draw.
Swoosh, crack!
Nine white, one green.
Swoosh, crack!
Nine white, one green.
Swoosh, crack!
Nine... oh, this ti it was eight white and two green.
Swoosh, crack!
...
After eight consecutive ten-pulls, he actually hadn't gotten a single three-star item!
In response, Levi could only shrug helplessly and sigh, 'Just my luck~'
Then, he pressed the ten-pull button for the ninth ti.
The next mont, a blue shooting star phantom fell from the sky, surrounded by seven white lights, one green light, and... huh?! Another blue light!!!
Levi, who had been slumping on the couch, imdiately sat up straight, a grin forming on his lips: 'Heheheh, I never thought, I never thought that even an unlucky player like would have a chance to cross over to the lucky side.'
The shooting star phantoms exploded, followed by the system's notification sound in his ears:
[You obtained: Hunter's Archery Skill Book x1, Designated Elent Vision x1, Skill Proficiency Boost Ticket (100 days) x1...]
[Hunter's Archery Skill Book · 3-Star (Bound): Upon use, you can learn the three-star skill Hunter's Archery, or significantly increase the proficiency of the existing 'Hunter's Archery' skill.]
[Designated Elent Vision (No Constellation Bonus) · 3-Star (Bound): Upon use, can be converted into a Vision of a designated elent (No Constellation Bonus).]
The items drawn from the gacha pool were similar to the Hestia Knife bound to Bell in the ani; they could only be used by Levi. Even if stolen or taken by others, they could only be sold as scrap.
This was also why Levi chose the Genshin Impact gacha pool over the standard one—while a Grimoire from the DanMachi world could help a user learn magic and was sold for an astonishing one hundred million, it couldn't be sold off, making it impossible to exploit a bug to make money from nothing.
He took the two newly acquired three-star items from his inventory. Without hesitation, Levi used the skill book directly and converted the Vision into the Cryo elent.
[Hunter's Archery · 3-Star (Beginner 1% ): Preliminary mastery of Hunter's Archery]
[Cryo Elent Vision (No Constellation Bonus) · 3-Star (Bound)]
[Indestructible]
[Cryo Elent: 0/100]
[Actively convert one's own mana or passively convert mana from the environnt into stored Cryo Elent]
[Consu Cryo Elent to convert normal attacks into Cryo-attribute attacks]
[Consu Cryo Elent to slowly increase ability scores]
[Warning: Equipping multiple elental Visions simultaneously will cause the elents within them to react, resulting in self-inflicted damage to the wielder]
There wasn't much to say about Hunter's Archery. An extra attack thod in the Dungeon ant an extra layer of security.
The Vision, on the other hand, was quite sothing. When equipped, it was not only like mastering an enchantnt magic out of thin air, but it could also slowly increase his ability scores.
