Apple didn't wait long, because about ten minutes later, Jayden walked into the cafe and found her right away. The man walked straight to her and imdiately kissed her on both cheeks.
At the ti, Apple was looking at him and smiling, but was quite surprised when Jayden did so. She raised an eyebrow to ask what that ant.
Because from behind Jayden, Apple could see how the waitresses and hostesses were looking at them both with envious eyes and surprised faces.
They all must have seen that trashy article, which said that Apple had an immoral relationship with a male model nad Mateo, but what Jayden was doing now was certainly the opposite of what they had read.
"Compensation for waiting for ," Jayden answered Apple's unspoken question that flashed in her eyes.
Jayden then sat down in his seat across from Apple's seat and started looking at the nu on the table.
"I'm so hungry," Jayden said. "I didn't eat anything at all when I went to work, because Misha kept screaming on the phone for to go over," he complained about his cousin's actions.
Of course, Misha almost blew out his phone because Jayden promised to only leave the company for one day, since yesterday Jayden was taking care of his problem with Theodore Gevano and promised to co on the second day.
And his cousin was so strict and didn't allow Jayden to co up with any excuses. He didn't want to hear any excuses and just wanted Jayden to co quickly to finish the docunts that had piled up on his desk.
"Misha was so an to today," Jayden grumbled and this made Apple smile.
"Did he scold you again?" she asked.
"Not only did he scold , he even talked in a cynical manner, as if I was his enemy," Jayden said in a pitiful tone.
But, hearing that made Apple smile even brighter. "Okay, let's eat. What do you want to eat? This ti it's my treat. I just received my first paycheck."
"Really?" Jayden asked with sparkling eyes.
"Yeah, it's on today," Apple said proudly, because she could pay for the food for both of them. During this ti, it was always Jayden who paid for their food, therefore, she wanted to take the role once in a while.
Apple then raised her hand to call one of the waitresses there and a young woman with red hair ca over to her.
She brought the tab and was ready to take their order on it. However, it was undeniable that she was very distracted by Jayden, because she would steal a glance at that man every now and then, before returning her gaze to Apple.
Indeed, her eyes did not show hostility, but those eyes were filled with curiosity and this made Apple smile when she saw the girl's gaze clash with hers, which made her lower her head.
"Okay, I will order…" And Jayden started the long list of food that he wanted, starting from the appetizer nu to the main course then the dessert nu to the drinks.
"I think it's tea ti," said Apple in disbelief at the long list that Jayden had just ntioned. Apple felt Jayden was robbing her now.
"And chamomile tea," Jayden added and then handed the nu book to the waitress.
The waitress smiled sweetly at Jayden as the man's eyes fell on her for a split second.
"Oh, and Apple pie." Jayden then looked at Apple very intensely and this was witnessed by the waiter as well. "I really want to eat apple now… apple pie I an."
Damn it, Jayden! How could he take the ti to flirt with her like that in front of this waitress?
And out of the corner of her eye, Apple could see how the waitress was standing there uncomfortably after Jayden's suggestive sentence.
Of course, this waitress knew that her na was Apple.
"So what would you like to order?" Jayden asked, reminding Apple that she hadn't ordered anything and a smile could be seen tugging at the corners of his lips when he caught Apple kicking his leg under the table. "Why did you kick ?" Jayden asked innocently.
Apple could see that the waitress was smiling sheepishly because now they were both flirting in front of her eyes and for so reason this made her blush.
Okay, that's weird…
It seed this waitress was one of the mbers of the group who supported Jayden Tordoff's relationship with her.
Apple didn't respond to Jayden's last question and ordered the food she had seen on the nu earlier.
After that, the waitress repeated the dishes they had ordered and this confird what Apple thought of her was true.
"Yeah, that's all right," said Apple and then gave the waitress a small smile before she walked away from there.
Only then did Apple growl at Jayden while the man laughed softly at Apple's flushed face.
"What do you an by that," Apple grumbled and then Jayden moved into the chair next to her and put his arm around his fiancée.
"Oh, I just want Apple so bad. Apple pie I an." Jayden laughed softly and then his smile turned warm, no longer teasing, as his hand gently stroked Apple's head. "I just wanted to let them see that the news wasn't true. After all, the best way to spread sothing is through word of mouth."
This might sound completely unreasonable to soone like Apple who didn't understand publications or how PR worked.
However, apart from using digital ans, it would be better if there were people who voiced the news they wanted because this way they could spread it much more quickly through the community and the people around them.
Of course, that way they could comnt on social dia too.
"Then what do you an by ordering so much food? You want to go bankrupt?" Apple pouted. "You said tea break?"
"If you go bankrupt, that's okay, I can support the two of us and our twelve children later."
Apples: "!?!?!"
