Chapter 469 TRAP
"There's soone who wants to kill Jayden Tordoff," Jero jumped straight to the heart of the matter so Apple could release him. "Can we talk, now?"
"Kill Jayden Tordoff?" Apple asked when she heard this and then pushed Jero away from her so they could talk better. "Who ordered you?"
Jero scrambled away without a second thought, but grimaced when he saw the gun in Apple's hand that was still pointed at him.
This girl was really very vigilant in every action she took.
"I can't tell you who ordered ," Jero said. "But then again, you know what kind of delivery I an, because it happened last night and you were on the ship."
Apple's expression must have changed when she heard this, because Jero looked very satisfied that he had surprised herself with this revelation.
"Yeah, you were on that ship with Kyle last night. He was one of the n on the ship." The two then looked at Kyle's body which was still curled up on the ground. "Luckily he was the sole survivor of last night's siege."
Jero clicked his tongue, thinking how lucky Kyle was to survive last night's events.
"What do you want?" Apple firmly believed that Jero already knew very well that her father worked for the Tordoffs, so there was no way he would ask her to kill Jayden Tordoff.
"Until last night, I didn't know we were dealing with the Tordoffs either." He seed to be frowning at knowing how big the na Tordoff was and what it ant to get into trouble with the family. "That's why I accepted their assignnt, but after I investigated further, it turned out that Jayden Tordoff was obsessed with this organization."
"Don't beat around the bush," Apple warned Jero. "Tell directly what you want."
"I'd like to make an offer to Jayden Tordoff." He smiled brilliantly, as if the idea in his head was extraordinary. "I can tell him what I know about this organization, but he's certainly going to have to pay a very high price in exchange for this information."
Apple laughed when she heard the offer. "You are trying to betray the person who paid you, so what makes you think Jayden Tordoff would believe your words?"
"I have faith in you," Jero said in an exaggerated voice so that he sounded very serious.
While Apple rolled her eyes. Yes, you bet…

Of course Apple wouldn't let Jayden co to this place. Instead, she asked Jero to co to a cafe not too far from the Tordoff company.
But all that could happen after surviving a long and tough debate with Jayden.
"Do you trust this man?"
"No," Apple answered honestly.
"Then keep him away from ."
Apple snorted in annoyance that Jayden had not heard her properly. Maybe it was because of the noises behind him that made it impossible for him to hear her properly.
"What are you doing now? Could you find a place that's a little quieter, so you can hear my explanation better?" Apple asked.
"I don't want anyone that wants to kill near ."
"Stop acting like you're being paranoid." Apple knew that Jayden was just sulking because she didn't go to co see him and work overti.
At this point, Apple understood that her strategy to discourage Jayden from giving her overti by demanding nonsensical figures of money was not working. In fact, the man didn't mind at all.
If possible, Jayden would probably want Apple around him every waking second.
"Where are you now?" Jayden asked. "You're still with the man who wanted to kill ?"
"Yes."
"Get out of there right now."
"LISTEN TO !" Apple cried impatiently and this shocked everyone present when they heard the girl screaming in anger.
Did this girl just snap at Jayden Tordoff?
"Okay," Jayden said loudly. He even moved toward a less noisy place to hear what Apple had to say.
"This person was involved in last night's incident, he knows who is behind the organization. We can take advantage of it if you really want to go after that person."
"Why didn't you tell that earlier?" Jayden grunted.
God! Apple felt like everyone was just testing her patience today. She was really going to explode now.
And that was how the conversation between Jayden and Apple ended.
Then, Apple rode with Jero and Maureen in one car, while four mbers of Jero's group followed them in a different car.
"You sure, he won't set up?" Jero squinted at Apple probingly. He had purposely left Kyle in the building and if there was no news from him in the next two hours, then they would kill the useless man.
"Yeah, he won't set you up," Apple grumbled as they entered the promised restaurant.
The location of this restaurant was in the city center and there were a lot of people passing by, so it would be difficult for any of them to do sothing ridiculous.
However, who they were going to face was Jayden Tordoff, and of course, nothing was impossible for a man like him.
By the ti they entered the restaurant, there were only five guests and as soon as they chose a seat in the corner, a waiter approached them and gave them the nu.
Of course Jero only ordered a coffee, while the four n who were Jero's subordinates did the sa thing, and ordered drinks for themselves.
"When will he co?" Jero asked, staring out the window, monitoring the situation, this was a rather strange place to talk about their deal, but of course this was a neutral zone for two parties who didn't trust each other.
However, when their drinks ca, a few things happened not long after, especially when Jero watched his four n fall to the floor, unconscious, as soon as they drank their drinks.
