Chapter 56: Deposit box
Inside the car, Noah was secretly glancing at Patel from ti to ti as she was looking outside the window. Her hair was left up showing her face better. He was tempted to reach out and touch her soft skin but he knew that this would startle her.
Be patient Noah, He muttered to himself as he looked ahead of him at the road.
Once they reached the bank, Both of them got out of the car and walked towards the bank entrance. Once they reached there, She saw the man that Jacob told her about. He had shown her a picture of him so she could recognize him.
"Miss Patel, Welco, My na is Henry, I will be under your service." Henry said, extending his hand to her.
Nodding her head, Patel shocked the man’s hand.
"This way please." Henry said as he entered the bank building.
Noah followed behind them, He wasn’t surprised to see how this man was speaking to Patel, After all, Her uncle is one of the most famous underworld n in the history of Italy, Until now, The governnt couldn’t get their hands on them and no one knows where he is right now, So said that he had retired, But his information said that he is working on a low profile now.
Entering the building, Henry lied to them towards his office and locked the door behind him.
"Please have a seat." He offered them."Do you want to drink sothing?" Henry asked.
"No, Thank you." Noah replied and Patel shook her head no.
"Okay then, Let’s get business." Henry said, offering her a smile.
"This is a safe deposit box that your mother Left for you and this is the key to it. You can open it to check what’s inside it." He said, handing her the keys to the box.
Hearing that the box was left by her mother, She took the key from him and opened the box, Inside the box, Patel found her Identification papers, Her password, birth certificate, and her ID card, It seed that her mother was preparing for a day like this for a long ti, She thought to herself.
Patel found a checkbook along with other papers. She sohow felt disappointed. She thought that her mother might have left a letter or sothing for her, But she didn’t.
Patel picked up the papers and started to look at them. Seeing her signature, She rembered that her mother had asked her to sign these papers six months ago.
Noah looked at Patel who seed to be lost in her thoughts. He couldn’t bla her. She was born into this chaos that she didn’t ask to be burned in.
"Now, Miss Patel, Let’s move to the important details." Henry said as he handed her a set of papers."Your mother had deposited two million in the account when she first opened it. After the two million had been entered into the bank investnt, The profits grew and now you have In your account." Henry pauses taking a look at the computer screen to make sure that his information is correct.
