Chapter 48: Noah is different

Patel stood up and walked towards the upstairs. She had wanted to go shopping with Alice, But she felt that it’s inconvenient. She wasn’t part of this family and she shouldn’t think that she is. She is here for a temporary period and she shouldn’t get attached emotionally with any person here.

She was about to climb the stairs when she heard Noah calling her.

"Patel." He called and she turned around to look at him.

Patel looked at the small gift bag in his hand and then looked at him.

"I thought that you went with Alice, But I t her on her way out. She told

that she didn’t want to go shopping with her. Why is that?" He asked, noticing the sad look in her eyes.

"Nothing, I just didn’t want to go." She replied, signaling.

"That’s alright, But I hope that you don’t refuse my invitation to dinner tonight." Noah said, smiling at her.

Patel didn’t know what to say, Should she accept his invitation or decline it? She felt confused.

But he has been so nice to her since she ca here. Going to dinner with him is not a big deal.

Patel smiled nodding her head.

"That’s great, I thought that you would refuse, I promise that you will have a good ti." Noah was unable to contain his happiness that she accepted his invitation.

Patel wanted to laugh seeing the man’s expressions, She didn’t know that going to dinner could be that way.

Because she was inexperienced, Patel failed to see Noah’s feelings towards her through his behavior with her.

Ethan who had listened to everything that Noah said, rolled his eyes in disbelief, Out of all the girls in the world, Has cousin is interested in that girl, How pathetic

"This is for you." He handed her a small gift bag."I will see you at seven." He added and she nodded her head.

Looking at the bag in her hand, Patel sighed, This was the third gift he gave her.’’ She wondered what he brought her this ti.

Taking out her phone, She texted Alice telling her about the dinner with Noah, She needed her help.

Ethan moved away from the stairs and hid so she wouldn’t be able to see him. He waited until she reached the third floor before he left.

"OMG, He invited you to dinner, You are so lucky Patel, Many girls tried to catch Noah’s attention but they failed." Alice said as she opened her closet taking out the dress to let Patel choose one of them.

Hearing this, Patel asked.

"Why?" She signaled.

Taking out the last dress, Alice went to sit next to her on the bed.

"Why you asked? It’s because he never gives them a face, Noah is different, he believes that to be with a girl he needs to have feelings for her." Alice explained.

Realizing the aning of what Alice said, Patel’s eyebrows creased in worry, If what she is thinking is correct, then she might be in trouble.
