Lana sat down on the bed beside Patel and smiled seeing the girl’s facial expressions. She was scared but she tried to not show it.

"Good morning." She signaled using the ASL language and waited patiently for her to reply.

Patel only stared at the woman before her not knowing what she should do or how she should act?.

This situation was very confusing to her, The won seed to be a good person, As her mother said, But the fact that she let that man take her and torture and lock her up in that room for two days made her uncertain about what she should feel towards her, But her mother had told her to trust her and considering her situation.

"Good morning." Patel replied.

Lana smiled widened seeing the girl responding to her.

The maid eyed the new guest that arrived at the mansion. She noticed how Lady Lana was taking care of her. She must be soone important that the lady ordered to prepare a room for her on the third floor.

"Put the try here and leave." Lana ordered the maid.

The maid did as she was told and left the room.

"Eat, It’s delicious." Lana said and picked up the soup bowl handing it to her.

Patel had been slling the delicious sll of the soup since they entered. She was very hungry as she hadn’t eaten anything for the last three days. She took the soup bowl from her and started to eat.

Lana felt guilty for what happened to the Patel, But she promised herself that she will protect and she won’t allow anyone to hurt her again, Even if it was her son.

Placing the empty soup bowl back in the tray, Patel picked up the napkin wiping her mouth with it.

"Thank you." She signaled to Lana.

Her mother had taught to always be polite and respectful to everyone she might. She might be a deaf and mute person but that doesn’t an that she doesn’t have manners.

"You’re welco." Lana replied, signaling." How do you feel? Your wound." Lana asked, pointing at the wound on her thigh.

"Better." She replied, staring at Lana, The woman had warm facial features, Just like her mother.

She sighed and looked away from the woman not wanting her to notice the tears that ford in her eyes. She tried blinking them away but she couldn’t.

Lana picked up the tray and placed it on the table before she moved closer to the girl and pulled her arms, Patting her back soothingly.

Patel was surprised at first but soon she couldn’t hold back her tears and she cried in Lana’s arms.

Lana kissed the girl’s head gently as she patted her back, letting her cry. It’s an unfortunate thing for a person to lose her mother, Especially soone like her, Who knew nothing about this cruel world for her mother’s kindness.
