[It was the ti when Anna walked into Luna's room when Austin was brought here after the interrogation]
"I am coming in, my l-"
Stood in complete dead silence was the hazel shade-haired maid as she stared at what greeted her was the back of her young lady. But what made her freeze was the man who was hugging the princess with his gaze now drawn upon the maid.
'Wait, isn't he..!!'
Anna just observed the scene for re two blinks before she disappeared from her site and, with inaudible steps, appeared just beside the couple, as she moved her hand toward Austin's arm.
But before her hand could have grabbed and broken Austin's forearm, Austin grabbed Anna's wrist to the utmost shock of the maid, who was confident in her agility.
"Calm down, Anna-san. I am not an intruder."
Austin's calm voice brought Luna also back out of the stupor in which she seed to be drowned since the ti she hugged her favorite person.
"Anna?"
"My lady, don't worry. I will even sacrifice myself to save you from this monster."
Saying so, Anna snatched her arm back as Austin also separated himself from Luna since he knew Anna wasn't going to listen anyti soon.
But to Austin's surprise, the authoritative tone of Luna, who seed to beco annoyed when she heard her beloved being called a monster, calling out for Anna.
"Stop right there, Anna."
Unlike a standard command, Austin was able to see mana waves emitting from Luna's vocal cord as she quickly subdued Anna's movent like a heavy blow had pulverized her.
"M-my lady?"
And not only that, under the heavy gaze of Luna, with her mana continuously being directed at the maid, made the latter ntion choked even to speak correctly.
Austin saw Anna's trouble as he hurriedly placed a hand on Luna's shoulder to wake her up.
"Luna, you are hurting her."
Luna, after hearing the familiar gentle voice, seed to finally notice her nanny's struggle as she instantly pulled back her intent, giving so space for Anna to breathe.
Austin walked with a glass of water toward the gasping maid after leaving the pouting Luna, who seed to be slightly guilty yet still angry that her sweet ti with Austin was disturbed like this.
Crouching down in front of the maid, Austin offered the glass as he spoke in a mild tone.
"Here, Anna-san. Sorry for the late introduction, but I am the person who is currently dating your young lady."
"I haven't accepted your confession, tho~ Mister Austin."
Since Luna was still angry with Austin's reckless actions in the arena, she found this a chance to get back at him.
Austin, after hearing Luna's amused tone, rolled his eyes and corrected his mistake.
"Well, you can say I am dating her one-sidedly."
Anna, who received a glass of water from the person she assud as a re criminal so hours ago, was shocked beyond belief.
'Sir Austin...?'
Anna had heard this na about hundreds of tis from Luna, so she beca conscious of how this stranger could enter her young lady's room so quickly.
And when she finally seed to realize the whole situation, her face beca bright red, and she hurriedly jumped on her toes before she sat in dogeza and spoke in a fluster.
"I sincerely apologize for such unruly and rude behavior I just presented to Austin-sama. I wasn't aware of Austin-sama's identity, that's why...I...I am really sorry. Please forgive , Austin-sama."
With her head rubbing on the ground, Anna hurriedly pleaded her apology, making Austin embarrassed as he tried to stop her, but she wasn't listening to anything at all.
Austin turned his head towards Luna in hopes of help, but when he saw her evil grin, he declared his defeat instantly.
'This sadist saint...'
Sighing, he concluded he had to do sothing about this himself as he slowly brought his hand on top of Anna's head before she finally seed to pause in her movent.
"It's okay, Anna-san. You didn't show any rude behavior; instead, I am glad Luna has such a responsible maid near her who could protect her in my absence. So don't apologize for your duty as it shows you are feeling ashad to serve Luna."
Anna's body jerked as she heard Austin's firm yet gentle tone, which made her realize that, indeed, she behaved like this because she wasn't aware of Austin's identity.
Lifting herself slowly, Anna, with her teary eyes, looked at the gentle gaze that Austin was bestowing upon her as she finally ca back to herself.
Austin was a little taken aback by the peculiar expression of the beautiful older woman, but he held himself quite skillfully.
"Austin-sama..."
"Drop that -sama. I am not any noble, and since you are close to Luna, please consider
your little brother, okay?"
Austin spoke casually as he knew from what Luna had told him back in Gram, Anna was the only person who has stayed by Luna's side without any personal greed and she was the only person Luna trusted other than her grandmother.
But both Anna and Austin forgot about one thing: there was a person in the room who gets super jealous very quickly.
"Aren't you guys growing close quite intimately~"
Austin and Anna stared at each other in perplexion as they both blinked simultaneously before turning back and finding the source of this sudden chillness.
"My lady!?"
"Luna...wait!"
