In a big yet unfurnished room, sat a couple of figures varying in age.

The wooden cabin, which could hardly repress the harsh weather conditions outside, currently contained four people in total.

Among these four people, two were those who belonged to the rebellious group of the Northern Continent.

The term 'Rebellion' was delegated to them due to the reason of the opposition, the blood relative of Emperor Norsvolk, the second Prince Nordeik Eldritch, raised his voice against the way things were moving.

The Northern Empire shalessly neglected the right of those who failed to awaken the mana. Also, the central authority didn't provide many opportunities to let common natives grow.

Being not well proficient with mana, Nordeik was able to understand how it feels to face partiality and live while always being compared to soone which you couldn't beco even if you exhaust your whole life behind it.

He grew with those feelings and never complained but there tis ca when the most sacrificing personality would also flare back if cornered more than what they could tolerate.

The day Nordeik left the royal palace, he vowed to his life that the day he would return, he would change this whole system that the Northern Empire had adopted and would embark on a journey where no one would be treated indifferently ever again.

And now, when everything was going relatively fine, and the Rebellions were about to take their revenge from the capital, a young boy suddenly pops up and declares that they would lose...

"Watch your mouth, young man. You might be strong, but it doesn't an you can insult the strength and courage of our soldiers too!"

Growled under his breath was the Faction chief's assistant, Bell, who, upon hearing the plain declaration of blond youth, that this war of succession would end up in a complete failure.

Nordeik was also slightly annoyed by the declaration from the man which his long-lost niece brought with her. But more than agitated, he was contemplating on the matter.

From what Nordeik could see, his niece was far more potent than what he heard from the rumors, and if counted from typical speculation, Luna indeed was an excellent mage.

As for the man who nad himself as 'just' Austin, then Nordeik, in actuality, wasn't even sure what to say about the young man.

On one side, he used such brute strength to pulverize his war ax [Fenrir] to a state where Nordeik could only grieve about it.

However, on closer inspection, Nordeik could feel a vast amount of mana from Austin too, which he was doing his best to suppress. But the experience Nordeik has accumulated told him right away that Austin himself was a complete warehouse whom Nordeik would not like to et on the battlefield.

Nordeik wasn't a coward, but he wasn't an idiot either. He knows when to provoke soone and when to keep his horses in control.

"You ...whatever your na is. Release your intent again on him, and I will make you realize how one can beg even for death too."

In a cold tone was the oceanic-eyed only female inside the cabin said as she sensed the heavy murderous intent proceeding towards Austin.

Even after hearing her, Bell didn't pull his intent and instead focused his gaze on Luna.

But fortunately, before any event could have occurred, a big hand dropped on Bell's shoulder as the latter ntioned instantly pulled his killing intent as he realized his chief's wish.

"Now-now, Luna. It would help if you also calm down. Bell-san just said what anyone would feel when soone out of nowhere intrudes on their place and tells them that the war is concluded even before comncing. So stop being so angry, okay?"

Luna grumbled under the sweet persuasion of her beloved as she retracted her cold gaze and, with a pout side glanced at Austin in complaint.

Austin was about to say sothing so he could soothe the cute Saintess sohow, when a loud yet gentle tone reached up to them from their front.

"I never thought that Luna, who even in her toddler age only let her mother be around her, would fall in love so badly that even so little flowery words would influence her mood to this extent. I am surprised and happy for you, Luna."

Luna, as well as Austin, stared at the man who was giving a very satisfactory smile, currently making the cold princess shy away a little.

But the other party had a more joyous expression on his face as he stared at the bearded man with sparkles filled in his eyes.

Luna also noticed such a thing which didn't give her a good premonition, and Austin's following words made her worries co true.

"You have seen Luna as a baby too?"

Austin asked with anticipation filling his voice, and fortunately, the frontman was much more helpful than Austin had evaluated before.

"Yes, I had seen Luna from the ti when she was in her diapers, and you know one peculiar thing, when she -"

"Ah! Nooooo...Uncle, please don't tell Austin anything about those tis; it's embarrassing to death. And Austin, you also don't ask, please. I won't be able to show my face to you ever again."

Cried in the plea was the cold and aloof Saintess whose personality was so famous for being indifferent every ti that the current Luna would probably have falsified every single rumor about her.

"Don't worry, Luna; I won't do such a thing which doesn't make you feel comfortable."

Austin said in a gentle tone to assure Luna, but his devil side made his left eye wink toward the burly man, which the receiver also understood the aning of, as he blinked in response too.

"Guys, can we move to the main topic? It will be dawn in few hours."

This ti it was the troubled assistant who pleaded from the sidelines as he saw the carefree conversation happening when there was a war going to occur in re 4 hours.

Hearing Bell's voice, the other three returned to their senses as Nordeik nodded and returned to the previous subject.

"So Austin, from your perception, this war would conclude negatively for our end, right? Is there any specific reason to support your statent?"

Nordeik, with a slight profound expression, asked the youth since, without any decent reason, he wouldn't just believe Austin because he was here with his niece nor because Austin was strong.

But Austin's following statent made every doubt of Nordeik, as well as Bell's, vanish in an instant.

"Hmm...I don't know whether you will believe , but there is a weapon in Emperor Norsvolk's possession called, 'Limit Breaker.' Do you know what strength that single weapon may carry and how it would have influenced the war you were going to fight against them?"

Upon hearing Austin's explicit remark, Nordeik and Bell made almost identical expressions of utter disbelief.

"A mythical grade......."

A weapon that was forged by legendary blacksmiths and had been bestowed with blessings of Goddess, a mythical weapon was as rare as finding an oasis in the most incredible desert.

And since the Northern Kingdom didn't have many incredible ancestors , the chances of finding a Mythic weapon within the continent boundaries were as small as finding a needle in a mountain of hay.

Yet...

"Don't ask

where I found this out, but trust , the emperor alone has so many resources that he could wipe half of your army all by himself."

Even Austin's words felt a little bitter to digest; both Nordeik and Bell knew what miracle a strong weapon could bring, not to talk about the unbelievably strong emperor himself.

Both the ho parties fell silent as they thought of the way to handle things, but it was the tavern chief whose voice rose first.

"So Austin, tell us what would be the best course of action to partake now. Since you are fully aware of our situation, do you have any advice you would like to give which could benefit both of us?"

Bell was still reluctant to trust soone this soon, but the Faction chief wanted to follow his instincts and see how things went.

Never had he imagined that this simple decision of his, would save the life of countless and his own life too...

"Since it's like that, please listen to what I have to say. If things go as I have planned, then within two weeks, I will be seeing Sir Nordeik acquire the throne, which he always belonged to."
