A long pause spread in the first Prince’s office as the words left Austin’s lips’ so nonchalant.

Neither Jeanne nor her lord was able to comprehend what they heard but by whichever ans they thought, it was inevitable that Austin just now bluntly rejected the request to sell his weapons and completely pull away from the upcoming crisis.

“Can I ask the reason?”

With a severe frown, Mikhail asked in a heavy tone since it was a matter of national security.

It was true that Austin was not liable nor bound with Gram but still being a citizen of the empire and also considering their ‘smooth’ relationship which has been continuing until now, Mikhail expected at least an answer of such an upfront rejection.

Austin saw the assistant walking forward to refill the cup which brought a smile on his face as he liked the taste of the beverage along with the cookies. But that doesn’t ans he would change his answer.

“Two reasons, actually.”

With a brief pause and after thanking Jeanne with a small bow, Austin took the cup as he continued, “ First, I don’t want to. Second, you don’t need it.”

Mikhail felt his veins popping sowhere on his forehead but rembering who was sitting across him, the blonde prince held himself together and with a forced smile asked.

“ I can understand the first reason, but can I ask why we don’t require such support which practically could help us from possible annihilation.”

Austin knew the prince was frustrated since he had thousands of people to worry about. He really would be a responsible leader in the future.

Twirling the cookie on his fingers, Austin burst their impatience but a cloud of bewildernt soon followed.

“I can teach the blacksmiths so basics of mana craft and after that, it will be their hard work. Your people would get employnt and the empire would strengthen altogether. Win-win, I guess?”

Mikhail leaned back on his chair in utter astonishnt as he heard Austin's confident remark which seed nothing short of bullshit. Well, Mikhail was having his doubts but rembering the miracles Austin have shown until now, he halted his thoughts.

Not only does Austin have mana-crafted weapons but he also knows how to make it as well?

‘Is it really true…’

Well, it was certain that the weapons Austin carries are no regular shop purchases but so refined work of a godly professional smith. And to Mikhail’s knowledge, there hadn’t been any craftsman able to achieve such feat till date. Then there was a possibility as well that Austin might have been making all his weapons all by himself until now?

It certainly might be the case and since Mikhail didn’t have any other plan in mind, there was nothing he could do other than nod his head.

“Then once again I will be relying on you.”

Austin enjoyed the last sip of the tea as he thought to wrap up the eting and see the princess before returning to his dorm.

But then he realized the primary motive for which he ca here.

“Umm…yeah, can I ask a favor of Your highness?”

Mikhail bead with a surprised smile since favoring Austin was one of the things he could never decline.

“Please tell , Sir Austin.”

Austin saw through the intentions of such elated curiosity even though Austin was going to ask for sothing. The sly prince just wants to raise more and more opportunities to burden Austin with favors.

With his eyes still narrowed, Austin confessed his request.

“It's about Cathedral. You see I ….

(Scene Break)

“How nice~ Of course, I would help. Rest assured I would personally take care of everything.”

Austin had a bad feeling about this but apart from the central authority he had only coercive thods in mind.

Seeing even the stoic secretary smiling as well, made Austin embarrassed as he soon took his leave.

—----------------------------------------

After so more minutes, Austin walked out of the office having everything said and promised.

The next place he was guided to by one of the maids who was waiting just at the office door, was a beautiful garden.

There were small flower beds arranged and gardened neatly to give a peaceful vibe and attract attention.

The drowning sun at the horizon was flashing brightly as Austin located the only person visible in the garden, currently seated near a tea table.

There was sothing that made Austin hesitate before approaching the first princess Tiara and that was the things that Luna told him about yesterday.

He wasn’t bothered about it since he never thought about the girl in any other way but just inviting her to his wedding would now seem utterly disrespectful.

Austin decided to refrain from doing so as he finally began to walk forward.

The flowers indeed slt nice as he walked on the pavent made in between them while enjoying the scene.

But as soon he stood beside Tiara, his movent froze as his breath.

She was…crying…no, wailing actually….

“W-what happened your highness?”

Austin instinctively knelt beside her as he asked without minding the manners. She seed just like Saya for a second there which aroused his brotherly instincts.

Turning her head slowly in his direction Tiara took a hold of his hand as she sobbed her words out sohow,

“You….you…c*sniff*can’t do this to ..….”

A/N: Next chapter would be long.

I have decided to tear this story into two parts since I don't want to rush things. The first part would conclude at their wedding so brace yourself.
