Villain's System.
Ever since Austin saw the screen displaying this specific na, he had various queries about it.
Well, since Austin was himself inside a world he read in a manga, he accepted this system rather quickly.
But the curiosity remains in its origination and how it works while keeping a record of different dinsions. An omnipotent system might it be, but still, there were various things that made Austin perplexed.
Like, how co it gives points, even Austin had done a not-so-villain-worthy task after he t Luna and also, how he was receiving such heavenly items which could break the world balance in an instant.
But Austin never paid attention to seeking answers since he already had many things going on in his life.
And now, suddenly today, entirely out of the blue, a strange person who called himself the Wizard, seems to be aware of his system, which naturally shocked Austin beyond belief.
[Haha… Don't worry, kid. It's not like I have any control over it, nor do I know about it more than its outer covering.]
Austin narrowed his gaze since the wizard said he didn't have control over his system. That suggests, there was soone who might have.
He didn't have a good premonition about this, but at this mont, he couldn't allow himself to panic. His team was dependent on him.
Collecting his stance, Austin relaxed his shoulders without letting his guard down. Maybe this man knows about the system, and soone might be present who could control it, but that won't hamper Austin very much.
He never had let himself get dependent on this sketchy Villain's System since the start.
[Hmmm? Seems like you are an odd one, too. You don't want to ask about sothing now, brat?]
The expression on Saya was growing darker with each of this bastard's words, who was talking in such a way with her Onii-sama.
The Abyssal Wizard completely ignored the raven flashes sizzling around the woman's blade since he found it unworthy to notice. His whole focus was now occupied by this blond kid, who, after this long, had shown sothing new to his interest.
"I know there's nothing you can answer. After all, you are just a dog protecting the real boss beneath our feet, right?"
The smile on the Wizard's face widened strangely as soon he started to laugh in amusent.
[R-Right. You are damn right about that.]
Kyouki and Cordelia were having a slight tremble of anxiousness with each of the weird man's gestures since he was reeking with an utter ominous sensation.
But fortunately, their group Captain was still not showing any sign of stress or hysteria whatsoever. Even though Kyouki had a tendency to be the leader anywhere, he went, but right now, he was thankful he wasn't standing in Austin's place.
[So, now you are intending to wipe this floor with
and advance to the next one until you don't reach the end, right?]
"Well, that's exactly what I have planned."
Without an ounce of hesitation, Austin affird the Wizard's words before the latter pressed his finger on his chin with his gaze upward.
Suddenly, he snapped his finger with his eyes widened, as it seed, sothing popped into his mind.
[I completely forgot to tell you guys sothing….]
The man levitated in the air before he positioned himself in a position where everyone was able to audience him.
[All the floors above were protected by my spell, so if you kill , you guys can have an easy way through to the final boss~]
All three except Austin blinked in surprise since it would beco extrely simple for them to complete this labyrinth with unknown stages if they just kill this wizard.
But Austin knew, every easy leeway requires storms of difficulties.
And as he expected, the Wizard started to show why he was the only sane being present inside the Abyss.
With black fog being discharged from his either palm, the smile on the man's face for the first ti darkened to a terrifying degree.
[But the problem is…. You guys are too weak to even leave a scratch on this dog…
