[You re mortals dare to enter my domain!]

With their body growing stiff and breathing choked in their throat, what welcod Cordelia and Kyouki was a massive reptilian creature.

Just by its outer appearance, Kyouki could discern how tough it would be to penetrate those massive scales. Not to talk about the fatal thin whipping tail, slithering at a corner alertly.

Its golden eyes seed to peek just inside their souls as Kyouki studied as much as he could in fractions of seconds, before letting go of Cordelia.

"Back off and assist

from the shadows."

Cordelia wasn't an amateur to remain in a daze for long. Hearing Kyouki's words, she wanted to protest, but soon she understood why he asked her so.

Nodding, she gave his hand a last squeeze before her body got covered in black smog, camouflaging her with the background.

The creature didn't move since it detected the human standing cautiously in front would strike, if it went after the human girl.

[That essence… Aren't you a Hero? Excellent ~ It would be the first ti to have so holy flesh.]

The serpent moved steadily while eyeing Kyouki head to toe. The essence inside a human glowed most peculiarly and had the mana which shone the brightest.

The serpent queen hasn't encountered a God before, but that doesn't an she doesn't have a record of those who carry their will.

Those who receive blessings of Omnipotent beings are naturally strong to the point even the Serpent Queen hesitated to approach blindly.

But at the end of the day, this human Hero also relies on the sa thing which others did.

Mana.

**HISSSS**

With a swift movent, the creature moved toward Kyouki with its mouth parted and four needle-sharp fangs protruding dangerously at the front.

Kyouki didn't have to enhance himself to dodge such a front-on attack, so he did. Using the strength in his hind limbs, Kyouki jumped back at a more remarkable speed as he unsheathed his sword mid-air.

The snake narrowed its gaze in mockery as its head was just a ploy since the actual attack was to be blown from its tail, approaching Kyouki's back.

"Not so easy…."

**SLING**

Kyouki anticipated such a thing, as without even turning his body, he swung his sword in a precise slash and detached the creature's tail from its massive body.

**KHEEK**

The creature screeched in annoyance as purple blood gushed out from where its tail was previously. Regrowing its body part would be easy, but the troubleso human wasn't waiting at all.

"[Heaven's Judgnt]"

Kyouki raised his sword, which was illuminating like a small sun by now, as he jumped toward the serpent queen at a furious pace.

The monster tried to move away from the trajectory when it felt its body glued to the ground, or rather its shadow was?

"You think I will let you get away?"

Cordelia shouted from a corner with her hand planted on the ground, and using Kyouki's blinding light; she trapped the Serpent's shadow in her hold.

The creature didn't bother trying to move anymore since it concluded the strength behind the weird Spell. There was only one remaining option, and that was to counter the Human Hero.

[Don't be full of yourself!]

With agitation filling the Queen's voice, it parted its mouth before a purple ball generated within a second before the creature released the giant sphere toward Kyouki.

Cordelia's eyes went wide since, in that proximity, Kyouki couldn't have dodged the attack, but suddenly a whip of air slashed the purple orb like a sharp knife cutting a fruit.

Before Cordelia could have searched for the chanter, who helped Kyouki just now, a defeating sound resonated in the labyrinth signifying that the Great Sword of Light Hero had t its prey.

The creature's massive head was split into two with Kyouki's attack, with life leaving its body at a threatening gait.

**DHAK**

Cordelia let go of the hold, before the massive body of the Giant Snake lifelessly fell to the ground with the radiance of its eyes, disappearing into nothingness.

"Kyo-chan! Are you alright?!"

In a panic, Cordelia rushed towards the place where still the smog of venom fernted profoundly.

There stood a handso young warrior wielding his sword in a relaxed grip and his robust body covered in his enemy's blood.

The sight was marvelous enough to throw Cordelia into a stupor, but first, she had to check on her friend.

"Yeah, I am fine. What about you?"

Taking out clean clothes from his pouch Kyouki started wiping his face when Cordelia took the job and snatched the clothing from him.

Wiping gently, she answered him in a soothing tone.

"I am good, but my heart is racing. When did my silly Kyo-chan beco this strong?"

Kyouki beca embarrassed being complinted as he scratched the back of his head after letting go of his sword, which was planted on the ground.

"Indeed remarkable, Hero. As Saya said, you really have beco stronger from the last ti I rember."

From a distance, a voice approached them, but since the voice was familiar, neither of them beca cautious.

"Couldn't you have co out of the shadows a little early?"

Continuing to wipe her friend clean, Cordelia spoke in a grumpy tone since she didn't like how her Kyo-chan was put into danger right off the bat.

"It's okay, Lia. Austin has supported

enough to let

have the victory."

Kyouki spoke with a sigh because, due to his haste, he didn't think such an attack could be reciprocated by the serpent. If not for the wind slash Austin threw at such a crucial mont, the result might have varied.

Cordelia didn't say anything but pouted since she still felt it was unfair to let Kyouki do everything. He might have gotten hurt there.

"It's just as you said, Onii-sama. The venom is almost similar, and so is its taste."

From a different side, Saya also walked to the group she brought to the small pouch containing the venom of the sa snake but collected at different tis.

As Saya handed the pouches, Cordelia and Kyouki looked at the blond youth in perplexion, trying to find sothing plausible.

With a thin smirk, Austin looked at the bags as he muttered under his breath.

"So we were indeed inside a ga and just cleared the first level, eh…
