Bzzrt explained many things to Midas about ingredients that could help one beco stronger.

"Firstly, there are naturally occurring ingredients that contain a high amount of mana. On Star Island, I’m afraid eloqi fruit would be the only ingredient containing mana. And the amount they contain is ager." Bzzrt continued explaining.

"Next, you can get mana from the cores of living beings as well. This includes human beings. However, a core is not a naturally occurring source of mana and has been fortified. It requires a precise technique to obtain the mana from within beast cores. So natural ingredients also have these preventative asures, but most don’t."

Midas nodded along, not interrupting this valuable information.

"Beast cores have various ranks depending on the tier of the beast that they were dropped by. Each one is harder to retrieve the mana within. However, it is common knowledge that human civilizations use these beast cores as their main way of gaining higher tiers. It isn’t crazy to suspect that human civilizations have created certain techniques to obtain mana from more lethal cores." Bzzrt said.

"What are the different tiers of cores? Can you explain them?" Midas asked, curious.

"There are eight core types, one for each tier of beast. They go from F-tier all the way to SS-tier. The foundation beast tier creatures of the lowest tier will always have an F-tier beast core, while an SS-tier beast core is sothing you can only hope to see once in your lifeti. Such a core would only belong to a Pinnacle Beast Tier creature. The highest tier that there is..." Bzzrt answered.

"So, Pinnacle beast is the highest, huh..." Midas replied, amazed.

The two continued their conversation until they arrived back at base.

By that ti, many treasures were already waiting for Midas.

"Send mosquitoes to get that! That as well! Have them collect these imdiately, too!" Midas’s orders were rampant as their conversation ensued.

Midas hopped off the mosquito’s back as they arrived at a flat field beside the main city.

A pile of ripe, glowing eloqi fruit was present. The mound reached higher than a human in length, seemingly hundreds of fruits gathered in one place!

To the left of them existed a pile of small orbs that were similar in color and appearance to the eloqi fruits. The pile was about half the height of the fruit one.

These orbs resembled the orb that Midas had retrieved from the first-ever giant mosquito that he killed.

’They must be E-tier cores, since most normal giant mosquitoes are in the five to ten level range. At least they aren’t F-tier...’ Midas thought as his vision bounced to the next pile.

The pile over from the E-tier core pile was half the size of the forr. These cores were bigger and glead with a brighter light.

’These must be the D-Tier ones...’ Midas thought. ’Since it’s two tiers above the lowest, it must be from Vein tier beasts.’

And finally, there was a small pile of C-tier beast cores as well.

These, however, looked different to the light, mixed rainbow color of the other cores and fruits.

They were green in appearance, completely contrasting with the other cores.

"My lord!" Yemo said, walking into the scene from the corner.

Midas nodded, causing the goblin to bow. Yemo looked to have a flat piece of wood and a feather in his hand, as if he were holding a clipboard.

"Your task was relayed to Gool, the secretary, but he is nowhere to be seen. I believe he is busy at the mont. However, I have accomplished his orders in his stead!" Yemo said, beginning to check off boxes on his clipboard as he spoke.

’Gool’s busy? He wouldn’t go against my orders. He must have never been found and contacted by the soldier mosquitoes. I wonder where he left off to...’ Midas thought for a split second.

However, his attention was quickly recaptured by Yemo.

"Firstly, we have 741 eloqi fruits! Quite the sum if I do say so myself! Next, there are 295 E-tier cores, 105 D-tier cores, and finally 29 C-tier cores! However, we lost two soldier mosquitoes in the process of retrieving the final C-tier cores." Yemo said, his tone turning slightly somber at the end.

Bzzrt furrowed his taphorical eyebrows with confusion.

"W-what?" He said, shocked.

"I see..." Midas replied, his tone low. "It’s unfortunate. Next ti, make sure that they value their lives over my words. If not, then tell them it was my words that forced them to do so." He said, sighing.

"I can’t afford to lose any mbers of my legion right now." He said.

Everyone else nodded and replied with a stern "Yes."

’C-tier... that correlates with Pulse Beast tier beasts. The sa tier that I am in as well. If I rember correctly, the pulse tier allows you to use external mana force. No wonder so mosquito soldiers were lost...’ He thought, walking closer to the materials.

"My lord," Bzzrt buzzed forward, "For now, the eloqi fruit and E-tier beast cores will be of use. You may possibly be able to absorb the D-tier beast cores as well, but it is uncertain whether your core can handle many at a high rate. I do not believe it is lucrative to even attempt it."

Midas nodded, "I understand. However, what lies before us isn’t just a challenge. It’s a war where many lives will be lost. In order to prevent as many lost lives as possible, I, as a leader, must beco as strong as possible." He gazed at the materials with a flicker of ambition in his pupils.

"I will attempt to obtain the mana from one of each of the cores to gain power as quickly as I can." He said, grabbing a bunch of orbs in his palm.

Mosquitos carried the materials on large cloths and transported them to where Midas decided to try to absorb the materials.

This ti, Midas decided he needed an even more secular place than before. He wanted absolutely no disturbance. Not even the odd buzzing of the insects or the footsteps of subordinates.

He arrived at his normal ditation area with the river and waterfall. But this ti, he entered behind the waterfall.

There, he had previously discovered a small but sizable cove where he could ditate in peace.

He took a lantern with him and had the soldier mosquitoes drop off the ingredients.

In the end, he faced the orbs and fruits with a determined look.

"Obviously, trying to absorb the more concentrated ingredients would be foolish. Without a proper cultivation technique, it would be difficult to absorb the mana without taxing my core heavily. However... I have realized that whenever I use the Nine Breath Circulation breathing technique, my core also stabilizes, along with the mana that flows through my body. If I can use this to help , it will greatly speed up my plan for gaining strength." He said before sitting down and crossing his legs before the beast cores and eloqi fruit. "Before the battle cos, I will break through into the Aspect Tier no matter what!"
