[OP: ]

Throughout history, wisdom phoenix has been known for a lot of things, one of which was the fighting abilities of so of the mbers who were added to this house.

"You can do the first attack if you want, Lucifer."

"Oh? I wouldn't say no to that, Captain."

Both Lucifer and Zoe were amazing fighters even though neither of them were conventional fighters like mages or swordsn.

"Alright then…"

While Lucifer was an archer with an extensive knowledge of spells and magic, he could not use those things and was restricted to only his Aura and the sword skills that he had.

While on the other hand, Zoe had a very strong physique as the mbers of her blacksmithing class knew.

"We should start now."

She also had perhaps the finest control over Mana in their class. She had created most of the artifacts that they had used in this battle with that fine control of energy so, people knew even if she did not have any proper weapon mastery, she still was as strong as the dwarves in their class.

"You can start whenever you want."

But that wasn't all… thanks to her unreal insight into artifacts, the way she creates them, and the kind of functions these things have, she was regarded as one of the most prominent students of this batch.

-Oooooooooooong!

People compared her and Lucifer when it ca to their intelligence and skills while they compared her and Uriel when it ca to the simple strength that the students of this batch possessed.

"That's a nice shield, captain."

An archer with the skills of a mage and a relatively normal person with the intelligence of a scholar and strength of a high ranking knight… as well as golden hands of a master craftsman.

The two of them were now facing one another.

And, since Zoe had activated a barrier artifact to create a three-layered multifaceted barrier already, even the teachers were looking at this fun developnt with great interest. Explore more at empire

"I'm sure you can break it down easily though, Lucifer."

They were facing one another.

With Eon standing against her with a strong looking enchanted bow in his hand… There was a quiver of arrows hanging on his back, three unique arrows with more than six enchantnts overlapping on them placed on the ground before him.

"I can break it down, certainly." He looked at her crimson eyes that resembled the pretty eyes of her mother, a smile on his face as he took out of the three arrows from before him.

"But, you should hold onto sothing, captain."

Placing the arrow on his bow, chennling not Aura, but the Mana in the environnt with the power of his Aura like a whirlpool sucking it in, he supercharged the enchantnts on the arrow and, with another smile at his Opponent, he released arrow.

-Swish!

However, no one saw the arrow leaving his bow.

-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM…!

The only thing they all, even the teachers looking at these things through the unique magic screen from the distance, saw was the extre explosion that was created at the point of impact…

-Ghrrrrrrrrrrrrr…!

The impact was so great that it shook the entire area around them, sending a trendous gust of force in all directions, knocking down a few students that were standing near the two of them.

"What the hell?!"

"What was that just now…!"

"What kind of arrow was that…?!"

Not just the arrow, what made that one blast so impactful was the energy that was put into that one attack, the Mana that was filled in the enchantnts that weren't even related to a destructive attack.

Lucifer simply overloaded so highly complex enchantnts and made them explode under a condensed force, a technique that high level mages used in the wars to make simple objects into high grade explosives.

"That was quite sothing…"

The force produced from the explosion was so great that the shield of Zoe's artifact that could rival even the barriers of the base grade (tier-4) spells was destroyed in an instant, shattered completely when the force hit it.

However, since he had advised her already, Zoe made a quick escape using, perhaps a movent skill, and used another artifact to create a barrier around that existing barrier and trapped most of the force inside it.

She wasn't thrown away thanks to that, however, she had done that in a re second so not just the mages that were impressed by that shield but even the knights around there were impressed by the speed at which she had moved and reacted.

"Well, is this my turn now?"

Zoe didn't get hurt this ti, there was in fact a smile on her face right now.

She enjoyed that initial mont, so she was ready to pay back just as much as she had received this ti.

-Oooooooooooooooong!

She had a bunch of artifacts on her, most of which were currently on her- like the bracelets that had created those barriers- so she raised her palm and pointed her ring in a certain direction.

Lucifer had vanished from that place after that one attack, but she knew he was still there.

-Swiiiiiiiiiiiiish!

Thanks to their connection and her heightened senses as a unique being, she knew that he was here even though he was using a unique technique to completely erase his presence.

"That was dangerous, captain."

What Zoe did was simply to create a magical spell shaped like a javelin and threw it towards a certain direction with all intention to hurt him.

And, even though he wasn't in that place at that mont, right when the javelin reached a certain point, it sohow changed its trajectory and swung in the direction where he actually was at that mont.

Thankfully, he had heightened senses as well and was able to, by the breath of his hair, avoid getting hit by that dangerous spell.

"Well, I expected that much."

Neither of them were acting right now.

This wasn't so kind of a play that they were putting on for the audience.

Though they were holding back a lot, even though they knew a lot about them and their powers, they were fighting for real this ti.

This was a rare chance for both of them, so they were trying to get past their opponents' minds and read them, calculate what they could do, calculate how much they can calculate their own calculations, and move in a way that would at least make so kind of change.

-Swiiiiiiiish!

-Boooooom!

They were fighting right now, and even though they were only using simple things and not sothing highly complicated, the ntal process involved in this fight was much deeper than anyone present there could think about.

It was the sa as outsmarting their opponent's outsmarting. It was a pure ga of predictions, and it required so much of focus that if they missed even a single step in their higher degree calculations, they would end up giving their opponents the chance that they needed and would lose the battle.

-Swish! Swish! Swish!

Eon didn't want to lose, and Zoe wanted to win so that he could be proud of her.

She was a divine beast, but that didn't an she could think as well as he and Lucy combined could.

-Swish! Swish!

Even if she was a divine beast, she was still young and was developing while on the other hand, Lucy- who was helping Eon closely on each step he was taking- had all the mories and cognitive abilities that Zoe's mother wanted her to have.

Technically speaking, Lucy was a few monts older than Zoe as well, and she had learned through constant analysis of the environnt around her, the mories that were given to her, as well as all kinds of worldly experiences that even Zoe had yet to experience.

-Swiiiiiiiiiish!

While Zoe inherited his master's life force and the talents that she had, the mories that should have been passed down to her as her offspring did not go to her and instead were given to her successor, to Eon, in the form of Lucy, who contained not just the mories that she had left behind for him, but also much more.

He was her successor, but still…

"Are you going to use the other two arrows or should I use them instead?"

Zoe was a divine being who was much stronger than even the teachers that were watching them right now.

As soone possessing unawakened divinity, she was not yet strong enough to be noticed by the worldly forces, but she most certainly was beyond the level of the teachers of the academy.

But… she wasn't here to flex her strength.

"Oh I will use them. Don't worry."

As she wanted, in the eyes of the rest of them, she was rely a simple human with not so simple level of strength.

She didn't use any weapons and she didn't want to use any.

She could use magic if she wanted, but aside from so simple spells, she had never used any specific special magic in the academy either.

"You won't be able to use them anyway."

She was strong, yes, and she was highly talented when it ca to creation.

But she was still a student of the academy and a house captain.

"Oh? I won't?"

-Swish! Swish! Swish!

All the strength that she needed to show was the strengths that She, as the house captain of the Wisdom Phoenix possessed.

She was strong even without her unique powers anyway.

"Will you try it?"

"You want to, don't you?"

"Do I?"

He was the most important person in this world for her.

That's why she was going to do all that she can and defeat him, at least in this battle…
