[Eon's POV: ]
"Hey there~. How are you doing today~?"
"Hello Miss Zoe."
"Hello, hello~. Have a nice day~."
"You too Miss Zoe."
"Hehe, hello to you too~!"
"Hello Miss Zoe."
"Hello captain."
"Hello~."
"How are you doing today, captain?"
"Haha, I'm fine~. Sunny like the blushing sun~. Oh! Hey there! Hello!"
While passing through the corridor, just like always, Zoe was saying hello to anyone and everyone she saw.
It had beco the most normal thing about her by now. Almost everyone who had ever t her and even those who had never t her but knew about her knew how she says hello to each and every individual that she cos across regardless of their response towards her.
'At the beginning, people found it disturbing, even insulting that soone of her status was greeting them.'
The nobles who saw her as nothing more than a lucky adopted daughter of a wealthy family didn't accept her as a 'noble' on their level.
While since she was from a noble family, and was famous already, the common students saw this as her being arrogant about her status… which made no sense but that was how it was at the beginning at least.
So greeted her back, so just ignored her, and so felt awakened when faced with the smiling face that she always had.
'Most of the people at the academy had only ever seen her smiling or in a good mood.'
Anyti soone saw her, they would get a feeling that sothing extrely good might have happened with her. But, with ti, people found out that was not the case at all.
'She simply was happy most of the ti, and cheerful as well. And she didn't shy away from showing that cheerful side to the world.'
She greeted everyone, she helped those who needed or wanted her help, she guided those who did not know anything about any topic as if she knew everything there was to know about, and though she did not have a fan following like captain Alpha, or the Prodigies of the golden era, she was famous.
And, there rarely was soone who did not like her or had a negative opinion of her.
"You're all coming to the central training grounds, right~?"
"Yes, Miss Zoe."
"We have to get so things so we will be there."
"You're going there, Miss Zoe? Don't we still have so ti left?"
"Oh, I knew it. You're going to the indoor grounds. Can I tag along?"
Our energy utilisation class started way early in the morning instead of at night this ti, so we have been here even before the sunrise.
The first class of the day for the rest of the students was going to start after the attendance at the horoom, and since the first few classes for today had all been shifted later in the day because of the practical battle simulation, we should be going to the classrooms instead of the indoor arena.
'But, since we know the attendance will also be taken in the arena, there's no need to go to the classrooms just to know we have to move to the indoor arena instead.'
We told everyone else to just co to the arena as well so that we can see what the teachers of all the classes might have co up with, so while a few might have already reached there, we will join up with the rest of them on our way there.
"Oh! That's Liz~! Hey Lizzy!"
Lizzy and d were waiting there, so Zoe ran up to them and greeted her friends with more enthusiasm.
'Both of them had been helping each other on their personal projects for so ti now, so they were sotis together.'
They were walking towards the central arena as well so we joined them, and walked ahead.
After walking a little further, we also t Quin and Chry who were walking together, Carla who had been arguing with another bunch of guys from her swordsmanship class over how weapons themselves ant nothing in 'swordsmanship', and after going a little further, we also t Rein, Alf, and Bell.
"How do you two even get up so early when you are with us till late evening? I don't think either of you sleep right after you get to your places."
Quin was always wondering how we can attend the energy utilisation classes while attending the rest of the classes, playing with them after the classes, and doing house activities till late evening.
They knew we don't usually sleep till late since, well, we are doing other things, so they were always wondering how we might be attending that class so early or so late at night.
'Academy isn't really that fun at night. It's not like we aren't allowed inside the academy at night, it's always open to us and we can pretty much sleep in our classes if we want.'
So students do that but not us. We usually go back and then co back when it's ti for the class and then we attend the rest of the classes as well.
"Not everyone can do what these two do, Quin."
"You shut up, Uriel. You're the sa as them!"
"No I'm not!"
The energy utilisation class was always a mystery to the rest of the students and even our friends.
They didn't understand most of the things that we learn even if we showed them our books or notes.
Even Alf has a hard ti figuring out what those things are, so this subject and the unique timings of this class is always a mystery to them.
They had tried attending this class so tis, but they always ended up falling asleep midway through the classes.
'And, it's not even because of the way the teacher teaches or because of the contents.'
Since they are coming to a random class, the kind of things that they are exposed to is always sothing unknown.
"There's nothing too deep about this, you two. We just like the class and we know how to manage ourselves."
They don't know much of what is being taught and the teacher puts in no effort to explain what he has already explained to his regular students.
'The others can co and sit in his classes anyti they want, but he doesn't really care about those who he's not going to see the next ti.'
The story is different for soone like Rein who had co with us a few tis, but she also isn't part of the class, so even though the teacher finds her quite interesting, he doesn't really care about her at least when we are inside of his class.
"His classes aren't on random tis. He takes into account the classes that we are going to have on that day and the classes that we have had the previous day.
He studied a lot of things before setting his classes so that the students have enough ti to finish their work and rest enough to go through his class."
"Hehe, he's not a bad person you all~!"
Zoe supported my words, and it was true.
"You all can try tracing his classes until now. You'll understand how we get more than six hours of resting ti even with his classes on odd tis."
He puts a lot of effort into his classes even with his declining physical condition. He had been a teacher ever since the headmaster was a student here, so he had certainly lived a lot… but because of his unique wish to understand the truth of the 'energy' he had been pushing himself for a long ti… sothing he only understood when it was too late.
{ "Everyone! Please go to your respective subject teachers! We will start the briefing soon! We will also take attendance here so please inform your friends!" }
The class for the practical this ti will be in an artificial arena present inside the academy castle.
In the centre of the castle where most of the facilities for the various sports and the clubs were located to be precise.
"They put in quite so work alright…"
"Seems like they also got a little help from the others."
The arena that we were in right now had been turned into a vast field that resembled the snarly battlefields filled with all kinds of rocks and sands and dust.
This place, mainly created for the purpose of the training, was also quite big and vast.
There were rocks here, there was a sky above us, and there were also clouds.
The atmosphere was pretty fine, and there was also a slightly denser Mana in the atmosphere.
They had used a good lot of resources and help from various other teachers for the creation of this field, so, it obviously looked as real of a battlefield as it could be.
"Should we go now?"
"Oh, right! See you two later~!"
"See ya!"
"We might end up on the sa team, everyone~. Don't say bye just yet~!"
The rest of them, Tia, captain Alpha, Prince Apha and Claud, and their party and all were already here.
So others who weren't yet here would co pretty soon as well since this was going to count as an important practical and Might also get reflected towards the exam scores.
So, the rest of the students who barely attend any of the classes were going to attend this one for sure.
The twelve teachers in charge of the Basic magic and weapon understanding class of all the twelve classes were here already and were discussing things among themselves.
Be it class B's sir Scarth or our class's teacher for this subject, Sir Frór, all the teachers in charge of this subject had a deep relation with the battlefields, weapons, and magic.
Especially the teacher in charge of this class for Class A…
'We knew her as the vice headmaster, but, she was known as the teacher of most of the other teachers who were famous as 'heros' around the world.'
