They surely had their own powers and authority but there was no absolute in this world. This conference was proof of that.
The decentralised powers were one of the reasons this world was able to exist for so long despite the constant presence of the demonic elents that wanted the annihilation of nature and all the natural elents.
There were gods in this world, and there were followers of these gods. Those who wanted absolute strength, omnipotence or omniscience, could most certainly gain those powers with right efforts and right opportunities.

The various worldly powers with any kind of power to make any kind of impact on this world were present here.

There was no need for a Grand conference like this one to exist in the first place. Gathering all the worldly powers in a single place was so dangerous that the normal citizens could not even think about it.
There were so people here that did not know the reason behind their presence here, but they were not soone normal.
If soone was present here, there was a reason behind it. And, if these people– these important people were following their children around, asking them advice, asking them questions, thinking of them as not children, but individuals that were no less important than themselves.
