[Eon's POV: ]

While us students didn't get the chance to challenge the other students with all the bullying from the teachers, the teachers used quite the tagging out technique where they called the other teachers and deliberately lost to them.

Staying on the ground without losing was also one of the things that the teachers had to deal with, but if they could cut down their own numbers systematically, then they could engage with as many students as they could.

'It was a good strategy since they cannot tag out like us.'

But they used it pretty well.

"You seem to be in quite deep thoughts, Mister President." The vice headmaster, the great elf who had mastered all weapons in existence, soone who had taught masters and grandmasters, the second in command of the great academy of hope now stood before .

A smile, almost a smirk, was present on her face as she had called out to the arena after defeating one of her fellow teachers.

It wasn't even a fight even though they had engaged in a battle. She simply defeated the (tier-9) mage teacher as if it was nothing with a re stick.

'Yeah… well, she's pretty serious when it cos to combat.'

We have learned from her in the previous year. It was also thanks to her teachings that we were able to sharpen our battle senses… however crude her thods may be, she was a great teacher.

She certainly knew what she was doing when she was teaching you sothing even with everything she does. And right now, despite the smirk on her face, I was looking forward to what new thing I would get to learn from this person.

"I'm a little nervous, yes, but I find it pretty natural. I know I may not win this, however I am looking forward to the teachings rather than the outco."

I tried to say it as naturally as I could, but my words couldn't deceive her this ti.

"I know you've stayed up all night to devise the entire strategy you guys used, you know? The loss at the start, which teacher will call for what students… with the smallest possible error in your play, I know how you've already foreseen the current outco."

She knew it all. Was it that obvious or did she just know that well?

'I wonder…'

Still, I did not agree nor disagree with her. She could think as she wanted. Things weren't going as well as I wanted to anyway.

'There's a 6% higher margin of error in the whole plan right now.'

So who were supposed to win ended up losing to their opponents, even Carla did.'

So who should have lost to their opponents, like Miss Mia and Liz, ended up winning in ways I had not been able to foresee.

'For a matter of fact, Liz won without having to use the powers of her unique origin skill.'

She had gotten much better over the holidays. Unexpectedly better– almost as if she had been taught with great attention by a great teacher, a master at handling holy and light attributed powers.

'She did great, but even with that, we still need sothing more to cover up the gap between us and the teachers.'

The scores were almost 10:12 right now. If I win, they will go up by one point, and if Rein and the other captains win as well, we should, hopefully, get so positive results.

Ultimately though, even though I don't want to say it, it would be up to Tia and Chry. if they win as well, then the victory should be within our reach.

"Lost in thoughts again? Boy you think too much~! No wonder you're not getting anywhere with your magic~."

She was provoking now. And, I know I have to win, so, shaking my head, I nodded at her with a new expression.

"Please guide , Teacher." I took out a magic bow enchanted with the highest level of enchantnts comrcially available, a (Level-12) artifact that would usually cost hundreds of gold coins.

"With pleasure, my dear Student~." She took out her own EFMW, a bright, silver artifact that I could tell was a powerful relic of ancient tis comparable to Rein's Nept.

It was a powerful weapon uncomparable to my own, but the fact that she was using sothing like that against a student also spoke up the importance she had put in this match.

"Let's not beat around the bush as well, ok? I know you have so elaborate conditions and rules ready, but I will give you the victory points, as well as two extra points if you simply show what you haven't shown in the school yet.

Your best. Not so simple tricks to impress the mass." She looked right in my eyes dead serious as she spoke.

"Surprise . Show the dignity of the Student council President of the great academy of Hope."

It was a request more than a challenge. She wasn't suggesting that. If I didn't accept that, she wasn't even going to give any chance to play my cards.

"So… you were after this all along, huh?" I see it now.

This whole competition, the rules, the way of judging, making plan all of this in this particular manner. The reason she suggested this whole event wasn't simply because she wanted to have fun, but also so that she could see just how much we have improved over the year.

"Very well…"

This was going to happen one day anyway. I knew I wouldn't be able to hide for long either now that the second year had started and we were the council head.

"Then, please excuse my insolence."

Closing my eyes and channeling Aura into my magic bow, I did sothing the teachers of the academy had rarely ever witnessed firsthand.

-Ooooooooooooooong!

"Hmmm? Is he…?"

"!"

"He is, isn't he?!"

"A spell manifestation through Aura! Ha! Look at him!"

To channel Aura into a weapon made to handle Mana was the sa as pushing an elephant through a hole as big as a coin.

The costly weapon was inevitably going to be destroyed if he succeeded doing this, but if he lost control of the power or the stability of the spell, then the consequences were going to be dire.

{ "Vice headmaster! You must stop him!" }

{ "He shouldn't be doing this! Vice headmaster!" }

Among the judges, Miss Cleo who knew well, as well as Sir Codocodomi who seed to have so dark experiences with sothing like this could not help themselves and announced through their mics.

They did not want to see another tragedy just because a teacher had forced their student into doing this.

The process of casting Spells with Aura was already very complex and risky, but more than the risk, only a few who had complete control over their Aura like a [Rank-6] knight should attempt sothing like this.

'But, the vice headmaster knew…'

-Ooooooooooooong!

The dark red-black Aura that was channeled through my bow manifested into a spell circle so stable the magic teachers were stunned right after seeing it.

"How…?"

"Was he hiding it all along?"

"Wait!"

But, one spell circle wasn't all there was to my demonstration.

-OOOOOOOOOONG…!

One, two, three… six, nine, twelve… the circles that appeared above in the sky continued increasing one by one, all containing power far greater than any spell of (tier-3) made with Mana.

"Oh… my lord."

"Would you look at that?"

The teachers were speechless at the sky that was now covered with spells made with Aura as their dium instead of Mana.

"Woah." The full series is hosted on My Virtual Library Empire, known as *.

"Vice captain could do that as well???"

"Wasn't he supposed to be a hexa-elental mage though?"

"There are spells of six different elents out there as I could see. Look closely…"

"Unbelievable."

"Pretty…"

Many must have found this absurd, and many must have found this scene unreasonable.

To cast a spell of (tier-3) one required a pretty good amount of understanding of magic and energy to power the spell.

Not even mages of (tier-4) could cast so many spells at once– and considering how my spells were all unique and made by myself, the teachers also knew this was a more complex situation than what the students perceived.

"There he goes, that bastard."

I didn't have to look back at her to know she had said sothing. Rein already knew the level I've reached after all the training we did at the tower.

With the level of my Solnova going up, I was now more powerful in many manners. The strengthening of my Aura as well as my physical body was simply one of the basic examples of the new powers I obtained.

'And this much is still not everything. The vice headmaster knows that much.'

Yet the reason she has a smirk like that right now speaks for itself just how surprised she was right now.

"You sure are taking a risk just for , child. Is this also a seduction technique or sothing?" her words ca as she turned her EFMW into a bow.

The spells did not release imdiately, indicating my great control over them.

"I'm taking a risk, surely. Though I still wish to receive your guidance, teacher."

Words were not needed here. This was a test, as well as a battle.

-Oooooooooooong!

The spells were suspended into their own positions so, moving from my spot, I realised so of them in a way that they would land where I would be the next mont.

-Boooooooooom!

Sparks few as the spell impact was made. The entire arena had already started getting destroyed.

However, that much was simply the beginning.

"Let us begin then."

An Arrow made from solid Aura flew from sowhere my eyes could not track, and pierced right through the incoming spells, destroying the complex spells without discrimination.

'The outco is decided already…'

The objective right now though, was to simply survive this battle until my Aura runs out.
