The thing before was not a lowly sli anymore... not that it was ever since I laid my eyes on that grueso pool of blood.

Its size had reduced, and it now had a body of black, white, and red flesh.
This thing was sothing like the carnage.
The big white thing that looked like eyes were covering half of its face.
The long, sharp, endless teeth in his mouth and that long tongue... this was no sli.
But they were definitely smiling... a delighted, mindless smirk would be more appropriate.

If not for being calm and thinking straight, I might have already thrown up just from looking at that disgusting thing.

The thing that was only a magical attacker until now could now do physical attacks.

This was like so kind of carnivorous creature running after its favorite prey.
It had a joyous expression and the white things he was throwing my way were generating on his back three at a ti.
The creature would jump in the air and throw all three of them with its solid muscle strength.
This strength was so horrific it cut the trees I had just jumped from down into pieces.
The sa trees in this great forest had unnatural strong features and were falling like sticks.

There was light ahead of , light in this forest of darkness, but... I had lost too much blood.

It had a pleasing smile on its disgusting face and it was licking half of the face with that long, blood-red tongue.
Those white eyes reminded of a fictional character from my previous world that was the sa nasty looking as this monster.
This thing was still six ters in height if it stood up, but, walking on all four legs like that lizard, it was the epito of horror.
Well, doing the last attempts to survive was important, right?

I fall back as far away as I can and, at the end of this ride, I don't know why but, there were two peculiar trees.
I didn't know what they were but having a tree with a white trunk, blue branches, and orange, red leaves were sothing I wasn't accustod to seeing in this black place.
But that wasn't important right now.

I hurriedly used the quickstep but... it was too late.
"Ahhhhhh!" My left leg was now hanging by only so skin tissues.
"Fuck. Fuck, fuck, no. God damnit!"
I jumped with my remaining leg and used [Shadow dive] with my last Mana.
"When will this life-saving shield activate!?"
I shouted in the shadows and, tied the fallen leg with so glue and cloth, which was definitely the clearest idea I could think of in this situation.
I was now dead, and there was nothing ahead of ...
Would you believe soone in such a situation could survive?!
I had done my last attempt, and this was still not enough.
I am no story hero!
"Ha... sorry. Sorry, mom, I couldn't keep the promise..."
I had no strength left in this body, and my Mana was almost rock bottom.
The skill duration ended, and I fell to the ground… lifeless.
