"Today's the last day as well as the last exam… then, why don't I see any happy faces?"
After all the turbulent tests and the difficult papers, we have finally arrived at the terminal.

'We were going to depart for ho after that at night or early in the morning tomorrow, and the rest of them should have been looking forward to that.'
But the rest of them excluding Hide and Liz were all worried about what they were going to have for the test today.
"It's the economy and currency, people. Co on now! This is going to be the simplest of them all!"
Rein wanted them to smile. She wanted to see their smiling faces as well as their positive expressions, but that wasn't happening here.
The rest of them were either worried about their exams, or were simply looking forward to the questions they were going to ask us.
"Co on, guys. You know this isn't going to be that hard. Rember the last ti? Was it difficult?"
In the midterm, they simply asked all of us to describe and narrate a few things from the unique clip that they had prepared for us.
It had a lot of things in it, sure, but the question itself had its own limitations. There wasn't much in that question, and realistically, there shouldn't be much in this test as well.
But, the rest of them had a different view of this.
"That's exactly why it should be more difficult than the last one, no? The rest of the test has been unexpectedly difficult already, so it's only natural to be anxious about this one as well."
Tia wasn't wrong saying that, but she could have said that while looking up at as well. Why did she have to say that with her head buried in that textbook four tis bigger than her little self?
"It's not just that… all of us are going to have a different paper even though the test is on the sa day so it's naturally difficult to be calm." Quin knew how the others were feeling, well we did as well, but there wasn't any need to have that kind of expression when this is the last paper.
There is so much more to this day than just this one question.
'Finishing the rest of the papers until now was a challenge in itself, and we have crossed those challenges.'
I was pretty excited about today.
The test did not worry much and my carefree attitude right now had nothing to do with how the test itself was going to be.
"Will you all smile a little if I give you my special cookies? You'll-."
The expressions that they had instantly lit up and they looked up at .
So of them were going to shout out affirmatively as well, but before they could, I continued.
"You'll have to stop reading and all this you're doing right now. If-."
Most of their excitent instantly died down as soon as I said that.
It was pretty funny to see, but it was disheartening as well.
"If you're ready for that, only then you will get a cookie. One single cookie. Nothing more than that."
I would call them selfish or inconsiderate but it wasn't their fault that they loved the 'special' cookies I make so much.
I had made them like those things so much anyway, so it was also my fault that they would act like this in a situation like this.
"There's no need to read anyway. I don't understand why you all take these papers so seriously… like, co on guys."
This is the academy's test at the end of the day. They were only asking what they knew the students knew already.
They knew what we had learned until now and they knew what it was that we all understood, so there wasn't much that they could ask us anyway.
'All the questions that we were being asked were based on the things that we have learned already, so there was no need for them to read if they only wanted to pass the exams.'
The rankings were going to affect their results at the end, yes I know that. I also try to put in as much effort as I can for these tests, but… there's no need to read on the day of the exam if you have prepared for it previously.
And we have prepared for each of our papers in the break ti we were given, I personally made sure they knew everything that they needed to know for the tests at the very least.
Beyond that, there was no real need to worry about the other things and Liz and Hide knew that well. And they weren't the only ones either.
"You're blackmailing us, Lucifer… what do you think? We will just give in and co to you for a single cookie and waste an hour that we have before the test?"
Tia wasn't convinced that anyone would buy this bullshit of mine, but she was wrong.
"Well, I don't mind actually."
Quin was the first one to close her books, which weren't even about Economy or currency but instead about the northern ancient history, and ca up to for the cookie that I was holding in my hand.
It was big enough already so it was going to be much more fulfilling than a few small ones, plus since I knew all their favourites already, I was going to give them the ones that they loved the most.
"A special cookie is enough to buy my hour so this is a good deal, if anything."
Then d followed behind her, and following her, a few others also ca up to , collected their cookies and instantly took a bite with a happy expression— one that I wanted them to have right now.
"It's obviously going to be an application based paper, Tia. You don't have to read the Market analysis theory made a hundred years ago for that."
I'm not saying we cannot apply those things in current market, but there is no way the things that were prominent a hundred years ago would still be the sa in the current market as well.
Besides, in the last few decades, the economical structure around the world has changed quite a lot.
As the older ones among us would know well, a few decades ago, you would not really need more than a few coins in your pocket to pass your day even on this island.
A hundred years ago, Maginet wasn't that prominent so with the advancent of magic and connection of such a scale, a lot of things have changed when it cos to the world economy.
Thanks to , a lot of things have especially changed in certain areas of markets.

In many areas, thanks to mom, a lot of things have changed.
The way this world is evolving, I don't think it will take it more than a decade to completely restructure itself.
In less than a decade, I don't think people will even use physical money anymore. The process of comrcialising Maginet is already underway.
'It might not start off as small compact phones like it did in my previous world before evolving through many stages, but the Maginet that we use right now will shrink down to the size of a small compact crystal.'
Perhaps it will take a strong approach to raise the awareness of tech like that, but just like how people realised the value of fast food in re three years, it shouldn't take more than a few years before Maginet isn't only a noble's possession.

She was a fairy so her worldview was quite different from the normal humans, but she had still lived in human society for a long ti.
The practical world experience that she held was surely a little different from the one that we have, but as soone who had used money and as a consur, she knew this fact very well.
"You don't need knowledge about the market to sell sothing, and you don't really need a powerful appraisal skill to tell what value so simple object actually had."
Surely magic and various fantasy elents exist in this world, but since money and a market exists, with the presence of dumb consurs, the economical flow will still be as unpredictable as it was a decade or century ago.
"You can analyse the money and predict its flow, but no prediction is ever a sure bet. Rember that." I simply took the big book from her small hands and handed her a big blueberry cookie that she loved as much as her favourite sweets.
"When it cos to the economy, everything other than the money itself plays a major part in the direction of the changing flows while when it cos to currency, even the most intangible thing could hold as much value to the right individuals as the most precious commodity does to the most common man."
They only needed to rember this simple fact.
If they do that, they are bound to get a good score in whatever kind of questions are asked of them…
