Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The huge monster within the base was being bombarded alternately by high-explosive grenades and magic cannons. The once dozens of ters tall monster, under the continuous bombardnt, had its powerful self-repairing ability overwheld, causing its body to shrink down to just over ten ters high.
The originally gigantic creature had already lost at least half of its mass!
Altair, who had accomplished all of this, was very satisfied and decided to increase the intensity!
While continuing to bombard, Altair constantly adjusted his position to get higher.
Finally, after reducing the monster to a height of ten ters above ground, Altair's position exceeded the monster's height. The previous angle had been slanted, preventing the damage from penetrating the monster's body all at once.
Now, Altair was ready to seize the opportunity.
Utilizing the powerful abilities granted by Tom's Body, Altair transford his legs into cartoon wheels and dashed forward, leaping high from the edge of the rooftop. He jumped directly above the monster, carrying a complete magic stone round in the rocket launcher, and pulled the trigger directly at the monster below.
This ti, just like before, he unleashed all his magic power in one go.
A light column over three ters wide appeared again, directly descending from the sky and crashing into the monster's still-repairing body. The magical light and heat instantly lted the monster's flesh, breaking through from the center and directly piercing through the creature's massive body from top to bottom!
This shot was the maximum output, and it was also right on target, maximizing its power!
Boom!
The massive magical energy sphere exploded in the air above the base, even lifting the entire base itself. The shot fired by Altair in mid-air, combined with the recoil and subsequent explosive shock, sent him flying. After soaring through the air for several seconds, he landed heavily on the deck of the aircraft carrier docked at the port.
Slap!
Altair landed flat on the ground.
However, he quickly peeled himself off the ground, shook himself, and returned to his normal form.
"Good thing my body is that of Tom; such a collision didn't hurt at all."
This was the aspect of Tom's Body that Altair was most satisfied with. Although it wasn't as exaggerated, having an immortal body was indeed very useful. He hadn't had a chance to utilize this feature before, but now he finally had the opportunity.
He felt no pain; he was just flattened, a bit dizzy, but otherwise fine.
"Alright, this should have done the trick."
Altair stood on the deck of the aircraft carrier, looking at the fiery explosion rising from the base on the shore. This ti, in addition to the magical explosion, it seed to have ignited the monster's body below, causing the entire area to be engulfed in flas.
Yes, this ti it was a blazing inferno, not just smoke without injury; it should be fine.
Altair moved his arms and legs a bit. Even though being smashed flat didn't hurt and posed no problem, he still felt a little sore; a bit of movent was enough to shake it off.
"Alright, let's go back and see what happened."
Altair first took a step back on the deck, then transford his legs into cartoon wheels, shooting off with a whoosh and quickly bursting out of the gangway. He even soared through the air for a while before starting to descend.
Then...
Slap!
He crashed heavily onto the ground at the port, flattening himself again.
But it was no problem!
He sprang back up from the ground in a flash, his legs transforming into wheels mid-air, and when he landed, the tires squeaked against the ground, propelling Altair rapidly toward the site of the incident.
In just a few seconds, he reached the explosion site. Altair jumped onto a tall building, looking down at the massive crater below. The central plaza of the base had been completely blown away. There was no such hole before, but the monster had dug a huge pit. Now that the creature was defeated, so flesh was still burning.
"It seems it's really dead."
Seeing that the flesh was no longer writhing together to repair itself, Altair confird that he had indeed killed this monster.
In total, since entering Yokosuka, Altair had consud three magic cannon rounds. How many tis would he have to raid the dungeon to replenish that? It was truly wasteful.
However, so waste was necessary; after all, this was a mission. Who knew this world would have such bizarre things?
What a shock, the trash in the original storyline, which even a group of high school students could handle with ease, turned out to include such a monster within the military base.
"I need to figure out what the hell this thing is and what's going on with this world."
The main storyline of the mission was to save the world. To save the world, the virus needed to be dealt with. Who knew how many tis this virus had mutated? It was clear that this thing was on a different level than the idiots in the city's zombie outbreak; the virus levels weren't even comparable. He needed to find the original virus.
As long as he found the original virus, Altair could use his Wolf Wisdom to create the corresponding serum to eliminate the virus.
No doubt, his Wolf Wisdom could achieve this, so the priority now was to locate the original virus.
"I hope there's so original virus data left down there; I don't want to slowly extract it from this pile of shredded flesh."
Muttering to himself, Altair jumped directly down the edge of the giant pit.
The space below was deeper than he had estimated, sinking fifty ters below sea level. When Altair jumped down, remarkably, he didn't splatter into a at pancake because there was still a lot of shredded flesh below to cushion his fall.
With his feet sinking into the remains, Altair felt incredibly nauseous. The gooey, putrid, and bloody stench was overwhelmingly unpleasant, even worse than stepping in dog poop.
Struggling to pull his legs out of the gore, Altair looked deeper into the cave and saw an intact tal door.
"Rich movies experience tells this must be where the final boss is located!"
