With his extraordinary abilities, Altair could achieve almost anything. Using Tokyo's dical laboratories, he developed two types of Gastrea virus suppressants in a remarkably unscientific manner.
The first was for the girls, suppressing the Gastrea virus in their bodies, turning it into a tool that enhanced their abilities without erosion, a super-soldier serum of sorts. The second targeted Gastrea creatures, whose cells were entirely composed of the virus, granting them imnse strength and erosive power. This suppressant killed the virus outright, neutralizing the creatures.
Altair's suppressants were precisely tailored. The girls' version was ineffective on Gastrea creatures, as their virus was a weaker, mutated strain. Likewise, the creature-specific suppressant had no effect on the girls.
These were Altair's breakthroughs. The next step was mass production.
Mass production required extensive equipnt and materials. In the Highschool of the Dead world, Altair had relied on a nation's resources, and in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, he had samurai underlings collect Kabaneri for extraction. In this world, he needed similar support to produce the suppressants.
Tokyo, however, lacked the factories to manufacture them. Producing them manually, one by one, was far too inefficient for Altair.
Thus, he made the sa choice as in Highschool of the Dead: seek out a powerful ally.
In any world with a strong ally and a mission to assist them, Altair would choose to help. Handing the suppressants to such an ally for production was the ideal solution.
With his samples in hand, Altair summoned his Sorsault Cloud and flew from Tokyo to a major allied nation's capital.
After a two-hour, high-speed flight, he arrived and approached the governnt as a scientist, initiating a collaboration.
Thanks to his experience in Highschool of the Dead, the partnership went smoothly. The governnt eagerly agreed to his request, as they needed both suppressants. They welcod Altair warmly, though, unlike other nations, they relied on their military to combat Gastrea, not Civil Security agents or Initiators.
Thus, the girls needing salvation were outside this nation.
Fortunately, Altair hadn't abandoned his goal of saving the world. Regardless of the corruption elsewhere, his holand was worth helping.
Using Altair's formula, production was swift. Having developed the suppressants in just a day, he waited three days and received a large batch of suppressants, proof of the nation's efficiency.
Beyond the suppressants, Altair stocked up on vast amounts of supplies, far more abundant than in Japan.
With ample suppressants and an overstuffed spatial pocket full of supplies, Altair left, riding his Sorsault Cloud back to Japan.
His first task upon returning was to visit the girls in District 39's sewer.
With the suppressants ready, Altair needed to administer them imdiately to prevent the girls' virus erosion rates from reaching dangerous levels.
Matsuzaki was thrilled at Altair's return. After his last visit, there had been no word, and Matsuzaki had worried sothing had happened. Seeing him safe brought relief, and the girls were equally excited, rushing to Altair and asking in unison if he'd brought "Cloudy."
Altair, who thought himself popular, felt a pang of embarrassnt. His handso face was apparently outshone by his Sorsault Cloud.
Taking advantage of the mont, Altair teased the girls, saying they could play with Cloudy only after getting their shots.
The girls, curious rather than scared, agreed enthusiastically. Never having been to a hospital, none would accept them, they had no fear of needles.
Altair felt outdone again.
Thankfully, the girls were cooperative, and he successfully administered the suppressant to each one, ensuring their virus erosion was no longer a threat.
Post-injection, the girls' signature red eyes, a mark of the Cursed Children, reverted to normal colors under the suppressant's effect. Even when using their Gastrea-enhanced abilities, their eyes stayed normal, erasing any visible sign of their Cursed Child status. They were now simply super-powered girls.
This thrilled them, as their red eyes had been the primary reason for their mistreatnt, marking them as Cursed Children.
With this act, Altair's status in their hearts surpassed the Sorsault Cloud. He beca their "onii-chan," enveloped in a chorus of "Onii-chan" calls.
Using his newfound role, Altair discussed the contract with them.
Though he'd resolved their virus issue, he couldn't leave them unprotected. As super-powered children, they'd be pri targets for those who'd exploit them as weapons. He needed to take them with him.
Having given them food, played with them on Cloudy, and freed them from their Cursed Child stigma, the girls trusted their handso Onii-chan unconditionally, eagerly agreeing to the contract.
Thus, Altair ford a contract with every girl in the sewer.
Unlike his contract with Hestia, which involved a kiss on the lips, Altair sealed these contracts with a kiss on each girl's forehead. After all, he wasn't so creep.
