The enteric virus infected a vast number of humans, transforming them into enteric beasts. This sparked a war between the beasts and humanity, a conflict that wiped out 90% of the human population. The survivors retreated into circles of stone monunts built from holmium tal, clinging to life.

Those who survived were dubbed the "Plundered Generation," while the children born afterward were called the "Pure Generation."

To this, Altair had only one comnt: "Utterly aningless!"

Plundered? Pure? What kind of bizarre terminology was this? Why force a pointless label into existence?

In this so-called Pure Generation, so children were born different. Their mothers had inhaled traces of the enteric virus during pregnancy, causing these infants to carry the virus from birth. All of them were female, and they beca known as the "Cursed Children."

Their defining trait was their red eyes, though so bore additional features. The virus, having rged with animal DNA during its invasion, left certain children with animal characteristics—think beast-eared little girls.

Thanks to the virus, these children possessed extraordinary vitality and physical strength compared to ordinary humans. With training, they could unleash combat prowess surpassing even elite soldiers.

As a result, people captured and trained these children, turning them into weapons to fight the enteric beasts.

The most infuriating part? While humanity relied on these girls to battle the beasts, they treated them with utter stupidity. People ostracized them, belittled them, and blad them for everything. They labeled the girls as monsters, venting their anger on them. Any fault could be pinned on these children, and so even took pleasure in harming them.

"What a screwed-up world, huh. Ptooey."

Sitting on the edge of a stone monunt, Altair looked down at the bustling city of Tokyo within the black monolith's periter. He couldn't help but turn his head and spit at the stone.

Saving this world? Probably easy. Just wipe out the enteric virus. Creating a cure to kill it off would be a breeze for soone with Altair's genius intellect. But honestly, he had zero interest in saving this place.

"This twisted world is sothing else."

Still, it seed his path to save it was already set in stone. No way around it.

At least he had full control over how to handle it—no forced missions or anything.

Standing up from the black monolith, Altair summoned a hovering cloud and hopped on.

"This is Tokyo, huh? Guess I'll go check out that useless figurehead first."

After the enteric beast war, the survivors in Japan had gathered into five regions. Tokyo was one of them, ruled by a silver-haired beauty nad Seitenshi—a girl whose stunning looks could charm anyone.

But as Altair put it, she was an incompetent leader. Though she was technically Tokyo's ruler, Seitenshi held no real power. She was a puppet, with the true control lying in the shadows with the Tendo family, led by their patriarch, Kikunojo Tendo.

This Kikunojo was a fascinating figure. A skilled politician, a master of karate and swordsmanship, he was a powerhouse in both combat and governance. Too bad his head wasn't screwed on straight.

Having lived through the enteric war and lost his wife to the beasts, he harbored a deep hatred for the Cursed Children and spent his days scheming against them.

Altair could only scratch his head in confusion. "Dude, you've been around for decades, and you're a politician. What's wrong with your brain?"

He had no plans to et this Kikunojo guy. First, he'd visit Seitenshi.

Seitenshi lived in a place called the Sacred Residence. By day, she attended an elite high school—yep, she was still a student. A teenage girl running a region. Wild.

After school, bodyguards escorted her back to the Sacred Residence, and she wasn't allowed anywhere else.

Altair's timing was spot-on. Today, Seitenshi was resting in her room at the residence. Using his hovering cloud and dampening his presence, he slipped inside, landing on an open balcony just in ti to spot her lying on her bed.

Her faintly bluish silver hair spilled across the sheets. Dressed in casual howear, she lay quietly on her wide double bed—1.8 ters across. Altair couldn't resist hopping off the balcony, stepping into the room, and getting a closer look.

No denying it, Seitenshi was a beauty. The quiet, literary type—a delicate teenage girl with a figure that belied her age. Especially lying there, her curves were unmistakable from the side, her chest rising and falling in a way that caught the eye.

Slim at a glance, but surprisingly well-endowed!

And those legs—long and slender, like a model's. Different from the soft, plush thighs of his wife Hestia or his friend Yako, these had a refined elegance.

As Altair admired her, the girl stared at her familiar bedroom ceiling with a lancholic expression. She reached out, fingers grasping at the air as if trying to catch sothing.

But after a mont, she found nothing, sighed, and covered her eyes with her hands.

"Another day where I can't do anything."

Altair, overhearing this, raised an eyebrow.

What's this? Wrong server, wrong password, huh?

Having seen enough, he stood up, walked to the balcony, and leaned against the wall. Arms crossed, head slightly lowered, eyes closed—he struck a cool pose.

"What can't you do?"

The sudden voice startled Seitenshi. She bolted upright, spotting Altair by the balcony—a stranger she didn't recognize.

"Um, who are you?"

Her heart raced with nerves, but instead of screaming, she kept her voice low and asked.

"Don't worry about who I am, Your Excellency. I was just passing by and heard soone in this room muttering about not being able to do anything. Thought I'd check it out."

Altair slowly opened his eyes, his sharp blue gaze locking onto her. A bright grin spread across his face.

"So, Your Excellency, care to tell what you ant by 'can't do anything' just now?"
