Campiones are demon kings, the most revered figures in the magical world. Whenever a Campione arrives in a country, that country must receive them with the utmost care. However, the History Compilation Committee decided to send only an external liaison officer to greet them.

Forget about whether all the leaders of the History Compilation Committee should have co—at the very least, the highest-ranking officials from the Tokyo branch should have been present. Yet, they only sent one person to receive and test the waters. It seems they truly have a death wish.

Altair had considered this point. In the original storyline, when Marquis Voban arrived, the Tokyo branch director of the History Compilation Committee had greeted him. But when Luo Hao ca to release Sun Wukong, only a few minor figures were sent to welco her. What did that an? It ant Luo Hao hadn't been ruthless enough.

Since you think an external liaison officer is sufficient to greet a Campione, then I can also assu that this external liaison officer is the highest-ranking official in your History Compilation Committee, right?

All those sitting above him no longer have any reason to exist.

"Holy Cult of the Five Mountains, listen up!"

"Your subordinates are here!"

"From now on, assign so people to take over Narita Airport. The rest, follow !"

Lu Yinghua issued orders to the sorcerers from the Holy Cult of the Five Mountains he had brought with him.

"Understood!"

After giving the orders, Lu Yinghua very kindly approached Touma Amakasu and patted his shoulder again.

"Congratulations, you've now caught the Dragon King's attention. The position of the head of the History Compilation Committee is yours."

Touma Amakasu stood there in a daze. He understood what Lu Yinghua ant by "hitting the jackpot," but after realizing it, all that remained in his heart was sheer terror.

He knew full well how foolish the higher-ups' decision to send him to greet two Campiones was, but he had no choice but to comply. However, he never expected that this single wrong command would cost them such a terrifying price.

Seeing the fear on Touma Amakasu's face, Lu Yinghua smiled with delight. Ever since Altair arrived, his life had beco much more enjoyable. Already a scher at heart, he now found joy in every day.

"Let's go. From now on, we'll be colleagues. I'll need your help to introduce to the people I need to deal with. Maybe I'll even et them in person—at least let know their nas."

Without waiting for Touma Amakasu's response, he grabbed his shoulder and dragged him toward the exit. At the sa ti, he used his other hand to pull Yuri Mariya along. One was too stunned to react, while the other was too terrified to resist.

The two were dragged out of the airport by Lu Yinghua and loaded into a waiting convoy, which then headed toward the Western Heavenly Palace.

At the Western Heavenly Palace, the mbers of the Kusanagi family had gathered. They were discussing how to handle the situation and whether Touma Amakasu, who had gone to greet the Campiones, had managed to buy so ti.

mbers of the History Compilation Committee were also present, such as the director of the Tokyo branch, Kaoru Sayanomiya. She was Touma Amakasu's direct superior and had brought her team to observe. The arrival of two Campiones was a major event, especially in Tokyo, and there was no way she could avoid it.

Like the Kusanagi family, she was extrely anxious and was whispering to her subordinates.

"Has there been any news from Touma?"

"No. The last ssage we received was that he saw the Great Dragon King and the Martial King disembark from the plane. He should be receiving them now. Based on the timing, they should be on their way here."

"What about the convoy? Can we track it?"

"Yes."

"Director, we've located the convoy. It left the airport so ti ago. Based on the current situation, they should arrive in about twenty minutes."

"So soon?"

"It seems Touma didn't manage to buy much ti at the airport."

"Forget it. Delaying for a bit wouldn't have made a difference. Once they're here, the problem remains unsolvable."

Kaoru Sayanomiya rubbed her forehead in frustration. She glanced at the Kusanagi family mbers, who were still discussing whether the Great Dragon King would be captivated by a beautiful girl.

"Keep an eye on the situation outside. The mont the convoy arrives, we need to be the first to greet them."

"Understood!"

The mbers of the History Compilation Committee all obeyed the order.

Twenty minutes passed quickly in the anxious wait. The convoy arrived on ti and stopped outside the gates of the Western Heavenly Palace. Kaoru Sayanomiya and her team imdiately went to greet them, followed by the Kusanagi family.

The convoy ca to a halt. The first car carried Lu Yinghua, who pulled Touma Amakasu out of the vehicle with a smile, slinging an arm around his shoulder as they walked toward the third car. This scene left Kaoru Sayanomiya, who was waiting nearby, stunned.

"What's going on? Isn't that Lu Yinghua? Why is he so chummy with Touma? Are they close?"

"I'm not sure, but Lu Yinghua looks very happy. Did sothing good happen at the airport?"

Kaoru Sayanomiya's mind was filled with questions, but she couldn't just go up and ask.

Lu Yinghua walked to the car door and opened it, allowing Altair and Luo Hao to step out.

After they exited the car, they walked toward the entrance. Kaoru Sayanomiya finally stepped forward to greet them.

She approached Altair and half-knelt.

"O King, we welco your arrival."

"Are you from the History Compilation Committee?"

"Yes, I am Kaoru—"

"Are you from the History Compilation Committee?"

Once again, Altair interrupted her mid-sentence, causing Touma Amakasu, who was following behind, to break into a cold sweat for his director.

Director, please don't reveal your position, or you'll die.

"Yes."

Kaoru Sayanomiya imdiately understood Altair's intent and answered with her head lowered.

"What is your position in the History Compilation Committee?"

It's over!

Touma Amakasu scread inwardly.

"I am the director of the Tokyo branch."

"What is your relationship with the person behind ?"

"He is my subordinate."

It's truly over.

Touma Amakasu was filled with despair.

"Lu Yinghua."

"Your disciple is here."

Altair pointed at Kaoru Sayanomiya, then walked past her and headed inside.

What does this an?

Kaoru Sayanomiya was confused, but she didn't have ti to dwell on it. Lu Yinghua appeared in front of her and struck her chest with a palm.

Bang—

Kaoru Sayanomiya never expected Lu Yinghua to attack so suddenly. She was sent flying, spitting blood mid-air, and landed five ters away, sliding another three ters before coming to a stop.

"Director!"

Her subordinates scread and rushed over to check on her.

The Kusanagi family mbers, seeing Lu Yinghua strike without warning, were completely dumbfounded. What was happening? Why did he attack so suddenly? Did Kaoru Sayanomiya do sothing wrong?

But they didn't have ti to worry about others, as Altair had already arrived in front of them.

"I heard you failed to prepare the ritual's release as I requested."

The leader of the Kusanagi family was their young master, Mikihiko Kusanagi. As the manager of the Western Heavenly Palace, he had no choice but to show himself.

"O King, please forgive us. We truly—"

Sizzle—

A beam of blue light pierced through his chest, instantly lting and penetrating his heart.

"Ah..."

Mikihiko Kusanagi's eyes widened as he stared at the blue beam that had pierced his chest, his face filled with disbelief.

"Since you couldn't fulfill my request, you have no reason to exist."

With a swing of his right hand holding the sword hilt, the light blade cut Mikihiko Kusanagi's body in half at the chest, severing him on the spot.

"Do any of you have objections?"

Holding the light sword, Altair smiled as he addressed the remaining mbers of the Kusanagi family. They were all stunned, not daring to make a sound.

"No response? It seems you have objections."

"No, no!"

Everyone quickly knelt and shouted, afraid that Altair would kill them too if they hesitated.

"Since there are no objections, you can get to work now. I want the seal released as soon as possible. If it's not done, I'll send you to accompany this guy who wasted my ti with his nonsense."

With the gentlest tone and the most perfect smile, Altair spoke words that sounded like a nightmare to everyone present.

"Do you understand?"

"Yes! Yes!"

Watching them nod their heads like woodpeckers, Altair turned to Luo Hao beside him.

"Did you learn?"

Luo Hao's head also nodded like a woodpecker.

Learned it, learned it.
