It took a lot to get the Alphas to leave.

They had dinner where they told Alyssa, Rae, and Rebecca about what Helena had been doing while at Sunfire City.

Helena swore if she didn’t have her son in her arms she would have thrown sothing at the alphas.

When they finally left Alyssa insisted on taking care of Ronan.

Helena didn’t even bother to argue with her mom since the forr Luna had the don’t you dare challenge look on her face.

Finally, after a long and excruciating day, Helena collapsed on her couch, cradling a bucket of popcorn.

"As much as I want to tell mom that I can take care of Ronan, I’m glad she’s here to help," Helena said, letting out a breath of relief as Rae and Rebecca joined her in the family room.

Helena then stretched out her arms to Rebecca who ca running and gave her a tight hug.

"Damn little wolf, I missed you," she said as she kissed the top of her sister’s head. "I’m sorry I wasn’t able to spend a lot of ti with you when I was ho."

"It’s okay," Rebecca said as she looked up at Helena. "This ans you’ll be able to move back, right? Cause Ronan needs to be around his Dad and as Alpha, Roo can’t travel as much as you do."

"Oh little wolf," Helena said as she pulled Rebecca close. "I wish it were that easy."

"But you’ll move back?" Rebecca asked as she looked up at Helena with her big brown eyes.

"That’s the plan," Helena said. "Once everything is settled I’ll co ho."

"Yey!" Rebecca said as she jumped around the room.

"Why don’t we watch a movie and relax while Mom is busy watching over Ronan?" Helena asked as she took the tablet that served as her TV remote.

"Do I get to pick?" Rebecca asked.

Helena nodded, and the little girl gave another squeal before Helena began showing her how to use it.

As the movie played Helena let Rebecca rest her head on her shoulder and soon after the start Rae also joined them, sitting next to Helena.

As the movie played, Helena wondered why it was so quiet.

She wasn’t surprised that her sister was knocked out. They’d probably traveled practically non-stop to get there.

That’s when Helena realized, there was no way Roo would have let their Mom and Rebecca travel alone.

"Who do you think they brought with them?" Helena asked as she reached for the tablet and switched off the TV.

"Probably Gamma Norris, I doubt Roo sent Kade," Rae shrugged as Helena picked Rebecca up and carried her to the guest room she’d picked out with Jonathan.

The young Alpha had been quite doting to her little sister, making her wonder if in six years her sister would be settling down here.

"I think he sent one of the Betas," Helena sighed as they closed the door to Rebecca’s room.

"Neil?" Rae asked.

"Daniel," Helena told Rae.

She knew Roo had to leave Daniel in Blackmoon with their father to watch over things when he eventually ca to get her.

"Do you think he’s hoping another of his sisters would be mated to his n?" Rae dared to ask.

"I don’t think she is," Helena chuckled as they made their way up to Helena’s room.

Helena leaned against the door as she watched her mother dancing around the room with Ronan in her arms.

"I missed this," Alyssa said when she noticed her daughters. "I missed having a baby around."

Helena smiled as she watched her mom.

"Rebecca isn’t that old," Rae chuckled.

"Rebecca might be Alpha Jonathan’s mate," Helena sighed.

"Really?" Alyssa said with her eyes going wide with shock. "That boy’s quite a looker."

"He did pay extra care to Rebecca," Rae added. "I wonder what he’ll do when the Blood Moon cos."

That was the pain of one mate being older than the other and when it ca to the potential case of Jonathan and Rebecca, he’d have to wait six years before he could say anything.

"It’ll be hard for him," Alyssa said with a frown. "Six years of knowing and waiting for your mate is a long ti."

"Will you let him visit her?" Helena asked her mom.

"In the guise of visiting you and Rae and maybe even Ronan?" Alyssa asked. "Maybe, but the visits would have to be supervised. I don’t want him influencing her opinions. I want her to choose her mate."

Helena nodded, understanding why her mother chose that.

"She’ll be pissed at all of us for not telling her," Rae huffed.

"Eventually she’ll understand," Helena chuckled.

"Here," Alyssa said as she handed Ronan to Helena.

Helena looked at her sleeping son as he slowly opened his eyes.

She smiled and Helena couldn’t help but smile back. He was the symbol of her love for his father and he looked exactly like the man she missed terribly.

Not speaking to Roo for nine years had been torture, but choosing to leave him and not speak to him for four months after catching a glimpse of his love and the future they both hoped to have was pure hell.

"Mom, who did Ro and Dad send you here with?" Helena asked.

"Oh Norton and Daniel," Alyssa said.

"Call them up, we have more than enough room to house them," Helena told her mom without looking up. She continued to watch her son as he smiled up at her.

Suddenly she could see sothing building in his eyes, like a tornado or lighting.

It was quick but it made Helena jump back and hold her son tightly.

"Helena, are you and Ronan okay?" Rae asked as she ran up to Helena and quickly checked on the mother and child.

Helena nodded, speechless.

"Ah," Alyssa said as she watched. "I guess he takes after his mother."

"What?" Helena asked as her mother laughed.

"He’s magic, Helena, just like you he manifested way too early," Alyssa said as she placed a hand on her daughter’s shoulder.

"We need to contact my Grandpa and soon," Helena said as she watched Ronan slowly fall asleep as if he hadn’t conjured magic.
