Chen Heng did not waste ti speaking to these minions. Instead, he just tore through the tent and soared into the sky while carrying Nightingale.

When Chen Heng stopped in the air, he saw the savage battlefield. Both sides had Sarkaz soldiers. As a race, the Sarkaz was combative, the kind that would not rest until one side died. This led to the abnormal intensity of this battle.

“Liz, close your eyes and wait. You will be safe in a while.” Chen Heng asked Liz to close her eyes to prevent severe psychological trauma.

Although these scenes should be from Nightingale’s mories—aning she had seen them before—he still did not want her to witness such cruel sights.

“Alright, got it.” Nightingale lay in Chen Heng’s embrace, looking cute.

Usually, people or objects in the air would beco everyone’s target; Chen Heng was no exception. Furthermore, he got targeted by both sides.

Arrows, bolts, stones, Arts, fireballs, wind blades…all sorts of things soared towards Chen Heng. However, his attraction barrier blocked them all.

Actually, Chen Heng did not mind facing such situations face-on, as he felt confident in his martial prowess. Mazes like the earlier one gave him a headache; he was not good at solving puzzles.

As treatnt centers tended to be at the rear of battlefields, Chen Heng found the direction to leave the battlefield as quickly as possible: the back of the treatnt center. As he flew over, he scanned the battlefield.

To solve this heart maze, he needed to deliver Nightingale to a safe place. What would make her feel the safest should be Shining, so he guessed Shining would be sowhere around.

By the ti Chen Heng reached the periphery of the battlefield, he still had not seen Shining. However, he saw sothing that looked like an endpoint, so he continued flying along the fringe.

As he flew, he felt like he was running around a track. The difference was that he had to maintain his attraction barrier to block the projectiles and ranged Arts.

Chen Heng flew like this for five more minutes, almost circling the entire battlefield when he finally found his target: a black-robed Shining holding a staff.

At this mont, Shining stood on a small hill. Soldiers were fighting in the surroundings, but none charged her.

This gave Chen Heng the impression of an RPG ga and Shining was an NPC in the ga. No matter how chaotic the battlefield was, it would not affect her.

When Chen Heng arrived over Shining’s hill and approached her, Nightingale started glowing.

Nightingale suddenly kissed Chen Heng’s face and leaped out of his embrace. This action scared him for a mont.

After leaving Chen Heng’s embrace, she grew taller and returned to her grown-up form in a few seconds. Nightingale’s expression as she looked at him changed.

After Nightingale grew up, Chen Heng suddenly discovered his legs turning into light and scattering, like when a Heroic Spirit left. It looked like Nightingale had recovered, so the outsider—Chen Heng—had to leave.

“Nightingale?” Chen Heng asked probingly.

“Yes, it’s ! Thank you for coming to help , He Who Knows Fate.”

“Phew! It looks like it succeeded. Since that’s the case, I’ll return to reality. I’ll see you later.”

“See you later.”

------

Whoosh!

When Chen Heng’s consciousness left the heart maze, he imdiately saw an anxious Shining.

“He Who Knows Fate, how’s Liz?” Shining realized Chen Heng had awakened, and imdiately asked about Nightingale.

“Don’t worry. She is fine; she should wake up soon with her mories recovered. By the way, how long did I stand like that?”

“About three minutes.”

Chen Heng had taken three hours to complete his objective, but only three minutes had passed outside. That’s good, that’s good. I did not waste too much ti.

“Oooh…” Nightingale opened her eyes a couple of minutes later. When Shining saw Nightingale open her eyes, Shining grabbed her hand.

“Liz, how are you?”

Nightingale did not imdiately respond to Shining. She just stared at the white wall, looking no different from being in a daze.

“He Who Knows Fate, what’s wrong with Liz?”

“Shining, don’t panic! Nightingale should be organizing her mories after recovering them. There’s no need to worry; this is normal.”

------

After a while:

“Shining?”

“I’m here. Liz, do you feel any discomfort? How do you feel? Have you recovered your mories?”

“Yes, I have recovered my mories. I have to thank He Who Knows Fate for that.” Nightingale smiled faintly at Chen Heng, expressing her gratitude.

Phew!

Phew!

Not just Shining released a bated breath; Chen Heng did too. It looked like Nightingale had not retained mories of the heart maze. This is great. At least Shining won’t be hunting down to cut up.

“That’s right. Nightingale, I’m going to Lungn this afternoon. Do you want to co?”

“In that much of a rush?” Shining answered instead of Nightingale.

“It is a little urgent. Nightingale, do you want to co with and relax a little?” Nightingale did not imdiately answer. Instead, she turned to Shining. The aning was obvious: she wanted Shining’s opinion.

“Nightingale, go on, then. You probably do not feel good after recalling your past. You can go and relax. Unfortunately, Nearl and I have missions and cannot go with you. Let’s go see Nearl after you rest for a while. I’ll send you and He Who Knows Fate to Lungn in the afternoon.”

“Alright.”

“Alright, since Nightingale recovered her mories, my mission is done. I still have so things to do, so I’ll leave first. Nightingale, rest well.”

Since Nightingale had already recovered her mories, there was no point in being a lamppost here. Furthermore, he still had to fight Skadi.

“I have to thank you. He Who Knows Fate, thank you for treating Liz. Thank you for helping Liz regain her mories.”

“You’re welco. Just spend more ti with Nightingale. I’ll leave first.” After speaking, Chen Heng opened the door to leave.

“He Who Knows Fate, see you later.”

“Ah Heng, see you later.”

“See you…”

Did I just hear Nightingale address as Ah Heng? Did I hear wrong? I must have heard wrong, right? Chen Heng stiffly turned his head back and looked at Nightingale.

“Night-Nightingale, what did you call earlier?”
