"I’ll eat it!"
Wu Di imdiately lay down in front of the cow dung, grabbed a lump, and stuffed it into his mouth.
"Ugh..."
The disgusting stench of the cow dung made Wu Di retch uncontrollably.
"Hurry up, keep eating, you don’t have much ti left!"
Lin Fei urged him coldly.
Enduring the nausea, Wu Di pinched his nose with one hand while shoveling cow dung into his mouth with the other, even swallowing so.
"..."
Watching Wu Di in this state, Lin Fei was speechless.
Wu Di truly was a tough nut to crack.
Zhang Wenbiao and Zhang Wenbo had very mixed feelings.
Wu Di wasn’t being whipped, but choosing to eat cow dung was just as terrible, wasn’t it?
Given another chance to choose, they weren’t sure if suffering the whipping or eating cow dung was the better option.
Three minutes wasn’t much ti, and in the final ten seconds, Lin Fei started the countdown.
With a little less than half the cow dung left, Wu Di sped up and ate as hard as he could.
"... five, four, three, two, one, ti’s up, you didn’t finish, you still have to take the whipping..."
As soon as Lin Fei finished speaking, he violently swung the rattan, lashing Wu Di repeatedly, causing Wu Di to howl, his body covered in fresh wounds, his clothes torn to shreds.
Wu Di was beyond devastated.
He had chosen to eat the cow dung just to avoid the whipping.
Who would have known that in the end, he still didn’t finish and was whipped anyway.
If this were the case, it would have been better to choose the whipping from the start; why bother with the cow dung?
Inside, Wu Di cursed Lin Fei’s ancestors for nineteen generations. He felt it was Lin Fei’s fault for giving him such little ti that he couldn’t finish eating the cow dung. If only Lin Fei had given him one more minute, he was sure he could have finished it.
"Damn it, it’s all your fault for trying to steal my fish, disturbing my sleep, and now my hand is sore from beating you!"
Lin Fei cursed a few more tis and carelessly tossed the rattan to the ground.
The hearts of Zhang Wenbiao, Zhang Wenbo, and Wu Di were shattered, their hatred for Lin Fei maxed out. But they couldn’t beat Lin Fei and could only endure such humiliation.
Lin Fei had lashed them violently, and he didn’t stop at just the physical punishnt; his words were like soul-crushing blades.
"Today, I’ve only given you a light punishnt. Rember this, don’t do bad things in the future. If you ss up again and I catch you, it won’t be this easy next ti. Now get lost..."
Lin Fei bellowed at Zhang Wenbiao and the others.
With that, the three of them, enduring severe pain, got up from the ground and limped away.
Lin Fei also returned ho and went to bed in his bedroom.
The next day, when the rooster crowed, Lin Fei got up.
Last night he was delayed by the encounter with Su Xiui and dealing with Zhang Wenbiao and the others stealing fish, which cost him a lot of ti, so Lin Fei had slept for only a little over three hours. Nonetheless, this didn’t affect Lin Fei’s spirits at all; he got up as energetic as ever.
After washing up, Lin Fei rode his motorcycle quickly to the village health clinic.
This morning, he would be joining the young village doctor Jiang Yuyao for a free clinical event.
Upon arriving at the village health clinic, Jiang Yuyao had already washed up, picked up so vegetables nearby, and was washing the mud off of them in the courtyard.
Lin Fei walked up to Jiang Yuyao and grabbed her buttocks with a claw-like grip, then squeezed hard.
"You’re just too bad!"
Jiang Yuyao glared at Lin Fei with annoyance, then asked him, "You haven’t had breakfast today, have you? Shall I make so noodles for you?"
"Hmm, make it for . I really like eating yours!"
Lin Fei snickered and squeezed Jiang Yuyao’s firm buttocks again.
Jiang Yuyao’s body felt warm, and her cheeks turned a slight red.
Lin Fei’s comnt about liking to eat "hers" was very ambiguous.
"Let go, it’s broad daylight, don’t be so handsy..."
Jiang Yuyao rolled her eyes at Lin Fei again, then took the freshly washed vegetables inside, and began to make noodles.
The two finished their noodles, quickly set up the tables and chairs, and prepared for the day’s free dical clinic.
Soon, villagers began to line up for dical consultation.
Lin Fei had provided free dical services to the villagers all of yesterday, and he was extrely accurate with his diagnosis. These villagers spread the word, and so praised Lin Fei’s dical skills in the village chat group. This led to the majority of villagers recognizing his expertise, and nearly all those who hadn’t co yesterday showed up today.
Lin Fei saw each patient one by one, and he was so busy for more than an hour that he didn’t even have ti to take a breath or drink any water.
...
While Lin Fei was busy with the free clinic for the villagers, the village chief, Luo Gang, was entertaining several guests at ho with liquor and at.
"Motherfucker, that bastard Lin Fei setting up so goddamn free clinic without even informing . Does he even consider my position as the village chief? He’s too arrogant!"
Luo Gang took a sip of sorghum liquor, angrily slamd his cup onto the table, and then cursed loudly, his face turning red and his neck bulging.
"Brother-in-law, that Lin Fei really doesn’t take you seriously. With him doing this, no one’s coming to my clinic anymore. I’m losing business and not making money. His actions are ruining us!"
A bald, fat middle-aged man with a large gold chain around his neck also spoke up, clearly displeased.
This middle-aged man was Deng Yunqiang, Luo Gang’s brother-in-law—the brother of Luo Gang’s wife, Deng Ting.
"Ah!"
Luo Gang took up his cup again and gulped down a big swig of alcohol.
Luo Gang absolutely despised Lin Fei.
Previously, Luo Gang had almost succeeded in bullying Yang Dong’er, but Lin Fei had co out of nowhere, ruined his malicious plans, beat him up, and even "extorted" a large sum of money from him, which left Luo Gang bearing a grudge.
And now, Lin Fei had launched this damned free clinic event, which had resulted in no villagers going to his brother-in-law, Deng Yunqiang’s, clinic.
Deng Yunqiang was a local quack in the village. He had been running his clinic for many years, long before Jiang Yuyao arrived, and the villagers used to go there for colds, flu, and stomachaches to get dicine and injections.
Even after Jiang Yuyao arrived, so villagers still preferred to go to Deng Yunqiang’s clinic.
Luo Gang had invested in Deng Yunqiang’s clinic, so the lack of business there also affected Luo Gang’s financial interests.
Personally and professionally, Luo Gang held a deep grudge against Lin Fei.
"Brother-in-law, don’t just sigh. We have to think of a way to deal with Lin Fei..."
Deng Yunqiang said.
"Ah!"
Luo Gang, after eating a piece of pig’s head skin, spoke to Deng Yunqiang: "Lin Fei is not easy to deal with. He is unreasonable, strong as a bull. If we confront him head-on, we’re likely to suffer for it. We might end up creating even more problems instead of solving the original one. We need a foolproof plan!"
"What kind of foolproof plan? In my opinion, we should just gather so n, overturn Lin Fei’s setup, give him a good beating, and warn him never to organize any sort of free clinic again!"
Deng Yunqiang spoke indignantly.
"That definitely won’t work. If we act like that and initiate the confrontation, we’ll be seen as being in the wrong. If Lin Fei retaliates, we’ll be the ones in trouble..."
Luo Gang said.
"Then what should we do?"
Deng Yunqiang was at a loss.
"Dad, Uncle, I actually have an idea!"
At this mont, a young man in his twenties next to Deng Yunqiang spoke up.
He was Deng Chuan, Deng Yunqiang’s son.
"Xiao Chuan, go on..."
Luo Gang looked at Deng Chuan.
Deng Chuan said: "Lin Fei hasn’t formally studied dicine, right? He doesn’t have a license to practice, does he? We can pick on him for practicing dicine illegally. That way, we’d be in the right. We can also encourage villagers not to go to him for treatnt. Wouldn’t that perfectly solve our problem? And if Lin Fei still opposes us, we’ve got the numbers to take him down, right?"
"Haha, brilliant, Xiao Chuan! Your idea is really good. When push cos to shove, it’s you young people who have the brains..."
Luo Gang laughed, thoroughly satisfied with Deng Chuan’s suggestion.
"Alright, let’s take action—just like that..."
Deng Yunqiang stood up.
"Let’s go, to the village clinic!"
Luo Gang waved his hand.
Imdiately, Luo Gang, Deng Yunqiang, Deng Chuan, and two thugs Deng Yunqiang had called from the town, headed towards the village clinic.
