Chapter 659: Chapter 665: Kicking With a Big Foot! (Third update)
Duan Sihai and Pikachu began fighting. Before Yang Zhen dove underground, he looked up and saw the world turned upside down.
Sure enough, those at the Divine Transformation Stage were formidable. They leveraged the unrestrained Heaven and Earth Qi, and countless human and Demon Race practitioners all stopped, watching the two in the mid-air with horror-stricken faces.
With the profound changes in the Heaven and Earth and the ergence of the Demonic Race, all sorts of powerhouses appeared. Yang Zhen originally thought that Duan Sihai and Pikachu were the two strongest people on the battlefield. Just as Yang Zhen was about to burrow into the ground, another terrifying aura erged, a monstrous Demon Fla. With a single punch, it sent Duan Sihai crashing to the ground.
A white-bearded old demon stood in mid-air, overlooking all creatures with disdain. He snorted coldly and said, “For twenty thousand years, my Demonic Race has been seeking revenge against you, so now that I have just erged, you treat in such a way. Do you think my Demonic Race has no one to stand up?”
“At the peak of the Divine Transformation Stage?”
Duan Sihai picked himself up, stared coldly at the old man in mid-air, and then laughed, saying, “What a joke. The Demonic Race has been subjected to heavenly punishnts for tens of thousands of years, what right does it have to settle accounts with human practitioners? Now you’ve erged, instead of staying quietly, you want to slaughter us human practitioners to the last man. Do you think the peak of the Divine Transformation Stage is very impressive? It’s only because our human powerhouses have yet to awaken for various reasons that you’re able to strut around so arrogantly.”
The Demon Race powerhouse at the Divine Transformation Stage glanced at Duan Sihai and then unexpectedly said, “So the human powerhouses have not yet awakened. In that case… all of you will die here!”
Boom!
A thunderous boom resounded, and an Agu Du, large as a small mountain, suddenly appeared. Amidst it’s roaring, waves of fire surged towards the human practitioners. The flas nearly singed Yang Zhen’s hair.
Yang Zhen quickly shrank back into the ground and said dazily, “Darn it, what a fool that Duan Sihai is. Isn’t he outright telling the Demonic Race that there aren’t any strong human practitioners right now, making it a great opportunity for them to slaughter us?”
an Cat shook its head and said, “It’s not so easy to kill humans. If the Demonic Race dares to go too far, human powerhouses could erge at any minute.”
“That impressive?” Yang Zhen was taken aback. He had had a deep insight into Agu Du’s might. Agu Du alone was able to render Duan Sihai powerless. If several other beasts as strong as Agu Du were to appear, humans were in for a disaster.
“This is the law of Heaven and Earth. You cannot grasp it yet. Kid, hurry up and find the Heart of Heaven and Earth or you will miss it,” an Cat urged Yang Zhen.
Yang Zhen looked oddly at an Cat, his body agilely shuttling through the rocks. “Everyone’s fighting out there right now. Who could possibly sneak into the place of legacy?”
“Don’t underestimate the practitioners of the world. There are many more who can go above heavens and under the earth. For all we know, many people around us are digging in the ground right now!”
“Damn it, is that even possible?” Yang Zhen was montarily taken aback and then sped up his pace.
With the Mountain Penetrating Skill, his underground movents were excellent. Yang Zhen slightly adjusted his direction and found the aura of the legacy site. The terrifying rumble from the ground and the roars from nurous beasts were coming. Yang Zhen couldn’t afford to delay.
Whether it was humans or the Demonic Race, it didn’t make any difference to Yang Zhen. They were all creatures living between Heaven and Earth. Why make such a fine distinction?
Just as he was thinking, Yang Zhen and an Cat suddenly erged from the ground. While in the air, he quickly scanned his surroundings.
This was a gigantic stone bell cave. Stalactites emitting faint light rendered the surroundings visible. There were strange stones and lots of peculiar pools of water everywhere. To Yang Zhen’s surprise, there were a lot of creatures in the water.
Yang Zhen didn’t know which of these creatures were transford Demonic Beings. He quickly found a hiding place and tucked an Cat into his clothes, whispering, “Don’t make a sound. There’s sothing odd in here.”
Strange sensations flooded in. Yang Zhen felt as though sothing was watching him, but he couldn’t locate the source of this sensation.
From an Cat, Yang Zhen learned that the majority of the Demonic Race possessed unique abilities. These abilities were incredibly diverse. There was nothing they couldn’t co up with. When dealing with the Demonic Race, one had to keep their guards up. Otherwise, they wouldn’t even realize when they were sold off.
This made Yang Zhen very puzzled. He had always thought of the Demonic Race as straightforward, yet it turned out they were full of tricks.
The feeling of being watched ca and went swiftly. By the ti Yang Zhen found a hiding spot, it had already dissipated.
The cave was enormous. Yang Zhen and an Cat sneaked further inside. Suddenly, an Cat shrieked and, pulling at Yang Zhen’s collar, whispered, “Look, isn’t that creature familiar?”
Yang Zhen was startled. He followed an Cat’s gaze and was taken aback. “That little fox?”
“Yes, it’s that creature. I didn’t expect it to be here. Hurry, let’s catch up. It may know sothing. No, it must know sothing. It’s running so confidently that it certainly knows the path.”
an Cat was about to dart off when Yang Zhen pulled it back. “Wait!”
“Wait?” an Cat looked back oddly. “Wait for what? In case we lose them…damn it, what is that?”
Yang Zhen straightened an Cat’s head and pointed at a sneaky figure. “You were right. Soone got in here before we did!”
Shadowing the little fox was a figure sneaking around, moving as weirdly as a snake. He was obviously practicing so uncommon body technique.
Yang Zhen and an Cat exchanged glances and exclaid in unison, “Mountain Penetrating Skill!”
The Mountain Penetrating Skill was a technique of the External Cultivation Sect, allowing practitioners to move through mountains and rocks, albeit at a slow pace. It was indeed astonishing.
There were over three thousand Dao in the world, all with their own rits. The External Cultivation Sect held a unique position, straying from traditional practitioners.
These people did not seek power or immortality. They tricked, swindled, kidnapped, and stole, all disgraceful practices in the eyes of practitioners.
But since they existed, they must have a reason for existing. They had not disappeared over so many years but, instead, had beco more mysterious.
Yang Zhen was intrigued and exclaid, “Although these people are not very strong, their tricks and niche techniques are quite strange. This guy had the guts to co in alone, which shows he has so techniques. Let’s follow and watch!”
So it happened that the guy from the External Cultivation Sect was following the little fox, and Yang Zhen and an Cat were following the guy from the External Cultivation Sect. The group walked down deeper and deeper, and before long, Yang Zhen started to sweat.
“What kind of infernal place is this? Why is it so hot?”
Yang Zhen made a strange face and looked downward, already able to see magma.
an Cat also looked puzzled, murmuring, “Damn it, the legacy site of the Beiqi Demon Tribe is underground?”
Just then, the little fox that the group had been following gave a mournful cry and leaped toward a pool of magma!
The sudden change startled everyone, and a stunned Yang Zhen witnessed the strange scene unfolding before him. He instinctively jumped towards the little fox, not taking ti to consider the action.
The complexion of the practitioner from the External Cultivation Sect drastically changed. Seeing Yang Zhen rush over, he snorted coldly. In his hands appeared a strangely shaped weapon that he directed towards Yang Zhen.
“Step off!”
Yang Zhen glared and aid a kick at him!
