Chapter 641: Chapter 648: The World that was Once Destroyed! (Third update)
Yang Zhen looked confusedly at Duan Sihai, who was walking in front. This guy must know sothing, but neither the Heavenly Spring Sacred Land nor the Heavenly Snow Holy Domain had given it away.
The people who attended the Heavenly Snow Holy Domain conference in the end knew that the two major sacred lands were coming to the center of the Ancient Ruins to break a particular restriction.
As for what was inside the restriction, the majority of people did not care. As long as there was a restriction, they anticipated good items. What good item it was, who cared?
Watching the excited crowd, Yang Zhen felt a sense of absurdity.
No wonder he often heard people say that Heaven and Earth would change. This most bizarre variable seed to contain a certain inevitability.
If Yang Zhen hadn’t broken the Heaven and Earth shackles of the East Sea, the Secret Clan of the Northern Island’s Sacred Land wouldn’t have appeared. If Yang Zhen hadn’t co to Northern Island, it wouldn’t have been so easy for the two major sacred lands to see the Heaven and Earth shackles of Northern Island.
In the hidden depths, it seed like a giant hand was manipulating Yang Zhen’s fate, one step at a ti in his direction. If this Heaven and Earth shackle also got destroyed directly or indirectly by Yang Zhen, then Yang Zhen would have destroyed two Heaven and Earth shackles.
At that ti, what would Heaven and Earth look like, Yang Zhen was completely clueless as of now.
It was only at this mont that Yang Zhen suddenly realized, even if he thought about stopping at this ti, he simply couldn’t stop anymore.
This feeling was indeed a bit absurd.
“Interesting, the Sao Saint does want to see what exactly is going on.”
Yang Zhen suddenly realized that destiny was indeed quite interesting. However, the thought of a predetermined fate in the depths of darkness was sowhat terrifying.
Initially, Yang Zhen was not planning to touch the Heaven and Earth shackles, but after thinking about it, the thought of not touching the shackles might just be part of the variables. So, he changed his mind.
Yang Zhen’s loud voice startled everyone around him. So people almost lost their footing and fell, turning their confused faces towards Yang Zhen.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Yang Zhen casually took out a piece of paper, tore it in half, and wrote sothing on each half. He then crumpled them into two balls and handed them to Hua Youyue, saying, “Miss, keep these two balls safe. When I ask for them, just hand one.”
Hua Youyue blanked out, evidently not understanding what Yang Zhen wanted to do. However, she didn’t ask any questions. She simply accepted the two balls of paper and stored them away, nodding and saying, “Okay!”
A cat looked at Yang Zhen cluelessly and opened its mouth to ask, “What are you doing?”
Yang Zhen chuckled and strutted forward, saying, “In my village, there’s a saying you haven’t heard. Today, the Sao Saint will tell you, listen carefully.”
The cat’s eyes lit up, and it asked with interest, “What saying?”
Yang Zhen burst out laughing and turned around to wink at the cat, saying, “As long as the speed of the Sao Saint is fast enough, fate will not be able to catch up with the Sao Saint.”
The cat blanked out and then sighed, “Damn, I like how straightforward and nonsensical you are.”
When Yang Zhen took his first step onto the stone bridge, his mind suddenly shook, and he stared shockingly at the terrifying mist in the air.
The aura here was not much different from the other side of the bridge, but Yang Zhen could feel that this place was different. It was like a world in itself and was sowhat different.
Hua Youyue’s face changed, and she exclaid, “This feels familiar.”
Yang Zhen quickly turned around and asked, “What feeling? What’s odd about this place?”
Hua Youyue shook her head, seeming uncertain. The cat, however, scread, “This place is indeed strange.”
Yang Zhen picked up the cat and asked, “How is it strange?”
The cat extended its claws to point at the air, signaling Yang Zhen to see for himself.
Yang Zhen looked up and his eyes almost popped out.
Blood Moon!
What was hanging in the sky was actually a blood moon, which looked incredibly peculiar, no wonder it emanated a chilling aura everywhere.
But it was daylight now. What in the world?
A blood moon appearing during the day, what kind of ghostly operation was that?
Yang Zhen looked around, but he saw no sign of the sun, aning all the light here was actually from the blood moon?
But why wasn’t it blood red?
Yang Zhen took a deep breath and looked dumbfoundedly at Scoundrel Cat. He asked uncertainly, “What’s going on? What kind of place is this?”
Scoundrel Cat looked everywhere, no one was paying attention to them, everyone was focused on their surroundings. It then leaned towards Yang Zhen and said, “Motherfucker, I rember now, this place was once an ancient battlefield. Several emperors once fought here and shattered the Heaven and Earth, making this a place where the rules are incomplete.”
Place with incomplete rules?
Having heard Scoundrel Cat’s words, Yang Zhen was genuinely shocked. For so reason, it reminded him of the evolutionary process of Earth over 4.6 billion years.
For a very long period of ti, Earth was also in a state of incomplete rules, various natural disasters were changing the world until about 1.5 billion years ago when Earth’s environnt began to stabilize.
Incomplete rules, as Scoundrel Cat said, could be deadly.
“Wait, you just said that according to legends, several emperors had once battled here, why would they fight here?”
An emperor, just by moving or talking, could annihilate the world, even a re breath could cause Heaven and Earth to shake. A group of these people fighting here had not destroyed the entire Northern Island, which was a lucky thing amidst misfortune.
Were these people idle? Didn’t they know that once they made a move, Heaven and Earth would be in disaster?
“How the hell would I know why they were fighting here?” Scoundrel Cat retorted, “I can’t even dare watch a battle on that level and besides, that happened way before my ti.”
Yang Zhen suddenly realized sothing. He beca nervous and asked, “You just ntioned sothing about the Heaven and Earth shackles, do these shackles have anything to do with these emperors?”
If the Heaven and Earth shackles had sothing to do with the emperors, then things would get interesting here. Could it be that under the Heaven and Earth shackles, an emperor or multiple emperors were sealed?
Scoundrel Cat seed to realize this problem too, its eyes widened, and it turned to leave.
Yang Zhen stopped Scoundrel Cat and said with gritted teeth, “Motherfucker, are you trying to escape again?”
Escaping was out of the question. This damn Scoundrel Cat obviously rembered a lot of things recently. How could Yang Zhen let it escape now?
Knowing that it couldn’t escape from Yang Zhen, Scoundrel Cat gave up and said dismissively, “Kid, this place is extraordinary. It might even change the entire world as we know it.”
Just as Yang Zhen was about to speak, Scoundrel Cat interrupted him and glared at him, “Do you know what kind of environnt you are in right now?”
“What kind of environnt?” Yang Zhen looked dumbfounded at Scoundrel Cat.
Scoundrel Cat scoffed, gazed at Yang Zhen, and said, “Your environnt is a reorganization of Heaven and Earth. In this process, there is no danger for you guys at all. Why don’t you just cultivate in peace? Why keep pursuing grand secrets or try to resolve the great apocalyptic disaster? So things you just haven’t even experienced.”
Having said this, Scoundrel Cat took a deep breath and stared at the blood moon in the sky, “Back then, when many clans stood tall and battles were endless, if that kind of environnt were to return, the entire cultivation world would be engulfed in blood and death.”
Yang Zhen’s heart quivered, he slapped Scrondel Cat and angrily said, “Stop bluffing, you make it sound like you were there.”
“Eh?” Scoundrel Cat dodged Yang Zhen’s slap and surprisingly said, “How did you know that I’m bullshitting?”
Just then, a cheer ca. Yang Zhen and Scoundrel Cat stared at each other, following everyone’s gaze, they were both shocked.
The fog gradually dispersed, revealing a continuous mountain range in front of everyone. The mountain range seed like a prival existence. The Heaven and Earth Qi was so dense that Yang Zhen felt dazed.
“Holy shit!” Yang Zhen’s eyes bulged, “Is this place…once a destroyed Heaven and Earth?”
