Chapter 389: Chapter 396 North Garden Ice Cave! The Ancient Tribe Cos Into the World! (Third Update)

“For whom?”

No one had expected that Yang Zhen was going to give away the Heavenly Tribulation Origin. This… This operation was simply insane.

Yang Zhen didn’t answer the question. Instead, he shook his hand, and a vast black shadow rushed out from the Great Missing Sword, forming a huge figure in mid-air.

“Evil Shadow Black Glutton!” Yue Yufeng’s body violently shook and she exclaid, “The shadow that ford the Taiji diagram with the golden dragon, it’s the Evil Shadow Black Glutton! How is it possible that such a thing still exists?”

“No, this Evil Shadow Black Glutton is just a mindless being, not the ferocious beast, Evil Shadow Black Glutton, from the eternal tis!” Jiang Zuolei said solemnly.

“But this is already very rare. I never thought that Yang Zhen could even refine this kind of creature into a sword spirit. No wonder I always felt that his weapon was very strange, almost like the legendary demon weapon.”

“Having the Evil Shadow Black Glutton as a sword spirit!” Jiang Zuolei gave a bitter smile, “If one was to fight it, wouldn’t it be very uncomfortable?”

“More than uncomfortable, this huge sword is simply insane!”

Roar–!

The Evil Shadow Black Glutton in mid-air let out a earth-shaking roar and swallowed the Heavenly Tribulation Origin in one bite. It instantly turned into a black light and reentered the Great Missing Sword.

Thunderbolts flickered on the Great Missing Sword, as black waves of energy rose like a raging fire, growing stronger and stronger.

Everyone looked up at Yang Zhen in the sky, puzzled, not understanding what Yang Zhen was trying to accomplish by facing the tribulation.

Could it be that Yang Zhen was only suffering pointlessly through this tribulation, gaining nothing in return?

Had Yang Zhen gone mad?

As the group exchanged glances, they were all filled with doubt.

Seeing that the Heavenly Tribulation Origin was absorbed by the Evil Shadow Black Glutton, Yang Zhen nodded in satisfaction. He put away the Great Missing Sword, made a leap to the side of the cheap cat, and stared at the cat intently.

“Kid, what’s with that look?” The cheap cat was sowhat confused and said awkwardly, “It’s not that I didn’t want to help you, but you actually invoked a heavenly ghost. There’s nothing I can do to help.”

Everyone looked at Yang Zhen, uncertain of what he was thinking.

After a pause, Yang Zhen nodded and said, “I am not seeking your help for that.”

The cheap cat sighed in relief and then looked at him curiously, asking in a strange voice, “Then why are you looking for ?”

“What’s going on with the great tribulation of heaven and earth?” Yang Zhen asked word by word, “Where have those powerful beings that reached the heavens and penetrated the earth gone?”

At Yang Zhen’s question, everyone held their breaths, staring intently at the cheap cat.

This was a question that concerned everyone. Now that Yang Zhen had asked it, the cheap cat obviously knew sothing. They all strained their ears, not wanting to miss anything.

Under the gaze of everyone, the cheap cat’s eyes dodged and its feet slowly backed up, but Yang Zhen quickly yanked it back.

Seeing that it couldn’t escape, the cheap cat gave a dry laugh and said, “I suddenly forgot, I can’t rember anything.”

Yang Zhen curled his lips, took out the Great Missing Sword, and said, “You’d better think of sothing. Otherwise, my Great Missing Sword just ate a ten complete replenishing pill and hasn’t had its fill.”

The cheap cat’s tail stood upright. It glared and said, “Damn it, kid, you dare to threaten , do you really believe that I… wait, don’t move, let’s talk it out.”

Seeing Yang Zhen raise the Great Missing Sword, the cheap cat imdiately cowered, and said with a dejected look, “Even though I know a little sothing, I can’t say it out loud. After I say it, I’ll be punished by heaven.”

“Why?” Yang Zhen was taken aback, and so were everyone present.

The Scoundrel Cat pointed at the sky and said, “Soone’s watching from above, who would dare to discuss the matters of the Upper Anterior period? All who attempted to reveal the secrets of the Upper Anterior eras died mysteriously.”

Everyone was shocked and all of them exclaid, “Did no one survive?”

Scoundrel Cat curled his lips, “If you ask , who am I supposed to ask?”

Yang Zhen looked up at the sky with an odd face, “Sothing is watching from above?”

“Order!” Scoundrel Cat took a deep breath and said, “Kid, stop asking. Not only have I almost forgotten what I should have forgotten, even if I knew, I can’t tell you. If you want to know the answer, you have to discover it yourself.”

Yang Zhen nodded, he didn’t push the Scoundrel Cat, took a deep breath and asked, “Where are those mighty beings that could travel the world?”

“Dead!” The Scoundrel Cat said calmly, as if he was talking about sothing trivial.

“Dead?” Hua Youyue shuddered, asked with a puzzled face, “Did those emperors die too?”

“I don’t know about that!” The Scoundrel Cat shook his head, “Anyway, those great saints either died or were injured. Haven’t you split your Spirit Soul into three parts for nurturing? Don’t you have the mories of the Tri-Floral Saintess?”

“No!” Hua Youyue shook her head, “I only have a vague feeling of fragnts of sentences, like telepathy, it’s short and chaotic.”

“That’s it!” Scoundrel Cat chuckled strangely, spat towards the sky, and said, “During the Great Disaster of Heaven and Earth, many died or were injured. Even powerful races beca extinct or hidden. If you had the mories of the Tri-Floral Saintess, you might not have survived till now.”

At this point, Scoundrel Cat made an ambiguous statent, “After all, we are all living under the Order’s rule.”

Before Yang Zhen could react, Scoundrel Cat’s eyes suddenly lit up and said, “Not that no one knows about these things. It’s just that all who knew these secrets have hidden themselves. Like the past life of the little girl here, the Tri-Floral Saintess, she definitely knows what happened in the Upper Anterior period.”

Yang Zhen widened his eyes and said, “This Sao Saint wants to know now. Do you want to wait thousands or millions of years until the Tri-Floral Saintess resurrects?”

Just when Scoundrel Cat was about to speak, everyone present suddenly changed their expressions and turned to look behind them.

In mid-air, nurous shadows were rushing towards them, bringing along long trails of energy fluctuations. Seeing this made everyone’s hairs stand on end.

“So many practitioners, what are they doing here?”

“Old Ghost Hei of the Ghost Fla Sect, why is he here? Wasn’t he preparing to cross the fourth Heavenly Tribulation in his retreat?”

“And Old Master Shang Yao of the Hidden Cloud Gate, why has he ended his seclusion?”

Many practitioners who were in the Tribulation Crossing Period at the scene recognized the two leading practitioners of the sa period and all gasped in surprise.

Jiang Zuolei stepped forward, stopped the others, and asked doubtfully, “Fellow Taoists, where are you headed to?”

The gaunt old man in the lead glanced at Jiang Zuolei and chuckled, “So it’s Daoist Jiang, haven’t you heard?”

“Heard?” Jiang Zuolei hesitated, “Heard about what? What happened?”

Old Ghost Hei chuckled and said, “A few days ago, a group of people claiming to be from the Ancient tribe went into the North Garden Ice Cave, saying they were going to break so sort of prohibition. Now that the North Garden Ice Cave is experiencing such a violent eruption, it’s obviously their doing.”

Upon hearing Old Ghost Hei’s words, both Scoundrel Cat and Crazy Chicken looked startled and glanced at each other, expressing surprise.

“Damn it, kid, if that black ghost’s words are true and those people he ntioned are really from the Ancient tribe, then this world may soon be in chaos.”

“Why?” Yang Zhen wore a surprised look.

“The Ancient tribe!” Scoundrel Cat chuckled, “Those people aren’t nice..”
