Launch a small boat?

What for?

Louis Diobus felt trendous unease, watching Li Qi and a group of people from Death Island lower a tiny wooden boat from the Ancient Ship into the sea, his heart grew even more apprehensive.

What could such a small boat do?

A single wave could overturn it.

Could this be an execution by exile?

Exile at sea has a long-standing tradition in the West, where soone is set adrift in a small boat; if they encounter an island, they’re considered lucky, but without land in sight, those aboard are sure to perish.

It’s a thod of execution, and Louis Diobus thought that Lin Hao must be executing them now.

To kill without a blade, such a small boat in these vast seas could be capsized by a single wave, all would be lost, let alone the possibility of encountering Half rmaids?

"Big... brother... What is... this?" Louis Diobus trembled all over, sweat continuously beading and dripping from his forehead, impossible to wipe away.

"Get on."

Lin Hao ignored him, rely giving a light smile.

"Huh?"

Louis Diobus nearly collapsed on the spot, looking at Lin Hao with a face full of shock.

"What huh? Move it! You should thank our young master here. Were it , for people like you, I would have chopped your heads off already! What’s with the trembling and jabbering, keep it up, and I’ll chop off your heads myself!"

Huai Shian ca charging up and kicked Louis Diobus, brandishing his large knife as if ready to chop.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Lin Hao halted Huai Shian and his facial muscles twitched as he dispelled his Disguise Technique, revealing his true face.

It was indeed Lin Hao!

How could Louis Diobus and his n fail to recognize that face?

At that mont, Louis Diobus’s legs gave way and he fell to the ground, staring widened-eyed at Lin Hao, speechless.

"Don’t be afraid." Lin Hao said with a light smile: "Didn’t you want to serve as my vanguard? I’m giving you a chance. Board the small boat, scout ahead. If you survive, from now on, I’ll take you on as my subordinates. The past grievances will be wiped clean."

"Really?"

Louis Diobus trembled all over, his eyes that were once dead now sparked to life.

"Go or not?"

"We’ll go, of course, we’ll go!" Those rich second-generations weren’t fools; they imdiately jumped down from the Ancient Ship, rowing away in the small wooden boat.

The small wooden boat on this vast ocean was like a tiny ant.

Lin Hao stood on the bow, watching the small boat sail away, quickly reaching a distance of a hundred ters before he ordered the Ancient Ship to follow.

"My Lord, what is this..." Lan Tianhao witnessed everything on the side.

He didn’t know what grievances Lin Hao had with these rich second-generation individuals and never expected the Lin Hao he knew before was just soone disguised, with even the na Mu Ri being fake.

However, it didn’t hinder him at all.

Be it Lin Hao or Mu Ri, both were now the lord of their Death Island clan.

"Could it be, my Lord, that we’re still..." As Lan Tianhao spoke, he suddenly shuddered, looking at Lin Hao with disbelief written all over his face.

"Mhm."

Lin Hao nodded, his expression becoming even graver as he gazed into the distance, following the path of the small boat, as if trying to see through ti and space.

"Splash!"

Suddenly, the sea ahead beca turbulent, a massive wave lifted the small boat into the air before slamming it down harshly.

"A Fish Demon is coming?"

Faced with this strange phenonon, Lan Tianhao was almost the first to react, turning his head and bellowing, "Prepare for battle!"

With unusual signs in the sky, the atmospheric conditions in this sea area resembled the outside world, surely they were nearing the lair of the Fish Demon.

Instantly, everyone on the ship tensed up, vigilantly watching their surroundings.

Only Lin Hao remained still, continuing to stand at the bow of the Ancient Ship, his eyes fixed ahead.

"What is that?"

Suddenly, Lan Xinxin pointed at the sky ahead and exclaid in shock: "There’s sothing in the clouds!"

No sooner had her voice fallen than an airplane ca swooping down from the sky, roaring as it dived.

"An airplane? Why would there be an airplane here!"

Song Qinghong and the other two also cried out in surprise, unable to believe their own eyes.

Huai Shian shouted incredulously, "That’s an old-style airplane from the 20th century, how can it be here!"

Indeed, it was an old-style airplane, appearing to be a Japanese Zero used during World War II.

"It must be an illusion!"

As the Zero fighter plane dived, Song Taishan couldn’t keep calm and suddenly bellowed, striking out with his palm.

With a howl, the palm wind seed to materialize a giant hand in the void, and with a loud bang, it struck the head of the diving Zero fighter.

Boom!

In an instant, the Zero fighter was hit and turned into a ball of fire, trailing a long tail as it whirled down from the sky into the sea not far away.

The splash arose, and pieces of the plane wreckage floated on the surface of the sea, bobbing and sinking in the water.

"It’s not an illusion?"

Song Qinghong looked at the wreckage in the sea, his gaze shifting to Lin Hao in confusion.

This was too real, even more so than the clear blue sky and white clouds before, the fighter plane’s wreckage floated in the water and could even be picked up, not at all like an illusion.

Lin Hao didn’t answer.

In a daze, he seed to hear that sacred and majestic voice counting again in the void.

"Two hundred thirty-five..."

"Two hundred thirty-six..."

...

He didn’t know what it was counting, but the feeling it gave Lin Hao was very unpleasant.

Of all the people on the ship, only Lin Hao could hear this voice.

While the others were still pondering whether it was really an illusion or not, Lin Hao gradually closed his eyes.

Seeing is believing, but in this world, what one sees with their eyes may not always be the truth.

"Look! What is that now!"

Shouts of surprise arose again from those on the ancient ship.

Just ahead of the ancient ship, a gigantic steamship was moving through the sea toward them.

"It’s a ship from the East Atlantic Company!"

Louis Diobus, who was in a small wooden boat at the forefront, was terrified when he first saw the steamship approaching head-on.

But as the steamship drew closer, he suddenly felt a very familiar sensation, and when he saw the unique emblem of the East Atlantic Company on the ship’s side, Louis Diobus beca excited.

This is a ship from the East Atlantic Company, could it an that we have actually entered that life-saving shipping lane?

We’re saved!

If they can get on this steamship, they could head to Resurrection Island or back to Transshipnt Island!

Not just Louis Diobus, but the rich second generation on this ship all cried tears of joy, standing and waving towards the gigantic ship.

"There are people, look, there are people on the steamship!"

"Hey! We’re here!"

"Co on, hurry and save us!"

The excited second generations were waving and shouting at the steamship, where they even saw many figures.

But it seed as if the steamship hadn’t seen their small wooden boat at all and was charging straight for them.

The excitent on Louis Diobus’s face gradually faded, his expression slowly hardening.

The closer the steamship ca, the more he realized that the ship felt too familiar.

"No, that’s not right!"

Suddenly, Louis Diobus’s face changed dramatically, and he abruptly rembered—wasn’t this the very steamship they were on before!
