Lin Hao’s na, in less than half an hour’s ti, spread to the ears of ninety percent of the school.

Many people thought this guy was simply absurdly lucky.

Not only did he advance directly, but he also hooked up with the school beauty Lin Shiran, damn, this is simply enviable, beyond belief!

The third round of competition ended quickly, and it was already 3 p.m. After the struggle of more than three hundred people, only eleven remained.

"Ladies and gentlen, after three rounds of competition, we are left with eleven people, each carefully selected," said the announcer.

"Among them, five will enter Binhai University!"

Host Zhang Molin once again picked up the microphone, her voice overflowing with excitent: "They are, respectively, karate’s Wu Tao, Tai Chi Master Zhang Santai, Sanda’s Gu Baifeng, Mantis Fist’s Xiao Lingyu..."

After announcing the ten advancing competitors, each na was t with a surge of eager cheers from below.

Once the cheers subsided, Zhang Molin continued, "Of course, we also have our lucky contestant who advanced directly, Lin Hao!"

"Tsk!"

"Sigh..."

As Lin Hao’s na was announced, disdainful hisses imdiately sounded from all around.

Among the crowd, only a small portion remained expressionless; these were either people who had seen Lin Hao’s skills or had experienced them personally.

They knew of Lin Hao’s strength but kept a tacit understanding, not revealing anything, all wanting to see the expressions on these people’s faces when Lin Hao, the dark horse, showed his true power.

Zhang Molin gave an awkward smile, as if she had heard nothing, and continued: "Alright, now please, all contestants, make your way to the arena, you have ten minutes. If you are not present after ten minutes, you will be considered to have forfeited."

"Please, everyone!"

As Zhang Molin’s words ended, students advanced from all directions, rising from their seats and walking toward the martial arts platform.

As they stepped out, waves of cheers once again resounded.

"How co Lin Hao hasn’t arrived yet?" Lin Shiran was worried.

"That guy has never taken this competition seriously from the start; he probably has other things to do," said Chen Yifan helplessly. "Don’t worry, let’s wait a bit longer, handso guys always appear last."

Lin Shiran didn’t say anything, her cheeks flushing slightly; she still hoped Lin Hao would co. After all, as a girl, she had a bit of vanity, wanting everyone to know just how amazing her man was!

As one after another of the advancing students arrived at the field, nearly all of the ten had gathered.

"Three minutes left."

Zhang Molin checked the ti and announced, "Has Lin Hao arrived? Please enter the arena quickly!"

"He’s scared to co, haha!"

"That’s right, there are five Karate contestants in the next round, how could he dare to show up."

"Let’s just start, no need to wait for him!"

"..."

From all around, the students’ loud jeering and even so parents’ impatient urging could be heard.

Zhang Molin looked helplessly at Zhou Hongwei, who said, "Let’s not wait any longer, let’s begin."

"Mm."

Zhang Molin nodded.

However, just at that mont, Yao ngchen suddenly interjected, "According to the rules, we need to wait a bit longer. Principal Zhou, what if he shows up?"

Principal Zhou froze, turning his gaze toward the two school leaders from Binhai University who had co.

"ngchen is correct, three minutes isn’t much; let’s wait," said a middle-aged man. He was the Vice-President of Binhai University, Mo Yuzong.

"Yuzong is right, the rules are set by us and should be followed," said a woman in her thirties, wearing professional attire and black-frad glasses, with a plump figure even more filled out than Yao ngchen’s. She was the Director of Binhai University’s Office of Education.

"Good," Zhou Hongwei replied. "The two of you are right; indeed, we should follow the rules."

Receiving the signal, Zhang Molin, as an experienced host, naturally knew what to do and announced with a smile, "Ladies and gentlen, one minute and thirty seconds left till the start of the competition."

After a short while, she continued: "The final bout of Binhai University’s martial arts recruitnt is ten seconds away!"

"Nine seconds!"

"Eight"

"Seven"

"..."

With Zhang Molin’s countdown, the students around the area couldn’t help but quiet down, feeling an inexplicable sense of tension spreading, even though it wasn’t them competing.

Chen Yifan and Lin Shiran were also very nervous, their eyes fixed on the entrance to the arena.

"The last five seconds!"

"Four"

"Three..."

"Lin Hao, please enter the arena quickly!"

Zhang Molin couldn’t help but repeat herself.

But still, no answer.

The entrance remained empty, with no sign of anyone approaching.

"Lin Hao has not arrived, this competition is announced, Lin Hao has forfeited due to being late..."

"Wait a mont."

"He’s here!"

Right then, soone in the crowd shouted out, and all eyes imdiately turned toward the entrance.

There, unknowingly, a tall figure appeared.

A perfect figure standing over one ter eighty, with long legs moving in stride, he walked from outside the field leisurely and unhurriedly, one step at a ti.

His deanor was calm, casual, as if nothing could ever weigh on his mind, with both hands casually in his pockets.

The afternoon sunlight draped over him elongating his shadow; that handso face, under the brilliance of the light, appeared soothing, like a breath of spring.

If that figure wasn’t Lin Hao, then who could it be?

At this mont, thousands of teachers and students, all eyes converged on him; for a split second, many were captivated by his stature and looks, falling into a mont of silence.

"This guy, sotis, is indeed very handso," Yao ngchen murmured absentmindedly, not noticing on that night with flickering lights, but now seeing him today, Lin Hao carried a distinct aura.

"Is this the guy?"

"He is Lin Hao?"

"Wow, we’ve been waiting for him? He’s so handso!"

"How handso can he be? Can he be as handso as ? What a waste, making us wait so long, just wait to see how he gets beaten to a pulp."

"..."

A rustle of whispered conversations erged, Lin Hao as though unheard, slowly walked to Zhang Molin, and softly spoke: "I’m not late, am I?"

Zhang Molin was surprised, captivated by Lin Hao for a mont before regaining composure, "Well, it’s not for to say..."

Lin Hao was late, by about ten seconds.

"Let him compete," Mo Yuzong chuckled. "Rules are important, but after all, we need a bit of humanity."

"Mm," Zhang Molin nodded and then announced with vigor, "Contestant Lin Hao, please enter the stage!"

"Thank you."

Lin Hao turned and walked onto the martial arts platform under everyone’s gaze, standing aside and sweeping a smile towards Lin Shiran and Chen Yifan.
